BUYER BEWARE!!!!I choose this vendor Wire Whisk for my new John Boos chopping block based on Amazons consumer reviews-which are surely false. I have obviously not received my product as guaranteed. It is now two weeks past the guaranteed delivery date. I have communicated with the Wire Whisk vendor via Amazon and have to compliment them with a speedy reply. The only kudos for both companies.Unfortunately the email was extremely unhelpful with the poorly delivered message to suck it up. I received a new delivery dates and finally heard from the local shipper. Their message was handling is not free, they will not deliver unless I pay for an offloader, or I can pick it up myself at their shipping dock-since the item is 500 pounds (Boos chopping block).Obviously I can not lift 500 pounds, and my helpers gave up on my delivery weeks ago. I couldnt see the reasoning in paying for my free handling. Clearly I should have ordered this elsewhere with a reputable company and cancelled my yet unreceived item-mind you it still shows a shipping date from days ago on Amazons tracking page.Now Ive received an email from Wire Whisk via Amazon stating Im subjected to a shipping and handling fee back to them and a 25% restocking fee for the John Boos Chopping Block that has not even made it to my house.Lovely! Want to place bets that I will end up owing them money when this is over?

The Wire Whisk is my favorite store! If you love cooking you will Love The Wire Whisk. They have every gadget imaginable and the finest cooking implements known. They are conveniently located across from the Fox River Mall. They now have cooking classes so I can brush up on my culinary skills. A must visit if your in Appleton.

The idea of the store is great; I love kitchen gadgets. This location though leaves much to be desired. Even with the 40% off because its going out of business, the place is expensive. The customer service is abysmal. The person at the register waved her finger at the receipt to ask for a signature instead of asking for it. She didnt ask if we wanted a bag for the item, but instead said youre good like this. Not surprised theyre closing.
