99 Ranch Market carries many vegetables at a great price. A great place to buy seafood. They also have fresh pastry. My favorite and weakness.

They always have some sale to attract people to go there. Its a good place to buy Chinese grocery. It will be better if they can have fresher veggies and more competitive price for veggies.

Service has really gone down. Ive been coming to this location for over five years and to other locations for at least 20 years. The fish guys have always been rude but if I dont speak to them in Cantonese, they dont even want to help me because I look Caucasian (Im from Hong Kong and Cantonese is my 1st language). Throw in an arrogant and misbehaved shopping cart boy who went out of his way to mess with me, gives me all the reason I need to take all my business to H Mart instead. Bye bye 99!

They have fresh fish at nominal price. They cut and clean your fish according to your need.

I completed my shopping for lunar new year in one trip. So convenient.

Some of my purchases were fresh food. The very kind cashier noticed that they were damaged and alerted me. It was a great example of an employee caring about the customer and putting them first. With such respect, I look forward to shopping there again

Not your typical Vons/ Ralphs market fare. Fresh fish and vegetables with unique only in China products.

Let me tell you. I have not seen a supermarket so well stocked. This is truly a one stop shop. I even found Ube!

The parking situation is a bit unruly. Lots of popular shops in this strip mall. This location of 99 ranch has a great fresh meat and Seafood counter. Great prices including large Maine lobsters for $12/lbs. Fresh veggies. Besides parking, the gripe is about the long check out lines. They are basically all open but just the volume of people here on weekends make the lines very long.

The market has a variety of vegetables and other Asian seasonings, however, there were many empty spaces on the shelves.

What can I say I love Asian food . This place carries all its not most the ingredients that I need . Workers are very nice and helpful . And they have a ton of selections on anything you need whether youre trying to make soup or you want your favorite ice creams snacks they have it.

The cashier by the lunch box section, an old female Chinese, she has bad attitude. I was looking for chopsticks and she was unhappily told me where chopsticks are located, but she found those chopsticks were out. Afterwards, she threw some chopsticks in my plastic bag which I have some lunch boxes purchased from there. Helpless, hopeless and rude workers should not work there. HR should pay attention to it!

Store seemed to have products stacked everywhere in the aisles, making navigation difficult. Cashier is not friendly and not trained. Took forever to check out, and she just threw the products she scanned at the bagger. Lady we know you don’t want to be here but come on. Would be nice if this place had customer service like they used to.

Good asian super market

Great selection of produce. This location seems to be cleaner and have better selection than the Alhambra location but the store is more crowded with narrower aisles and more people. The bakery here is also very nice with large selection.

Great bakery department. Good inventory of popular geocery items, not likely to run out. Seafood department is also well stocked. Fruits and vegetables are well stocked too. Nice tidy place for good grocery shopping experience! They have a small food court inside with 4 bar stools, and they make hand-rolls that resemble burritos with chinese meat and vegetables stuffings, and they also offer a good selection of Taiwanese style bentos. If that doesnt work, there is also a large food court nearby in the same strip mall.

Asian market, will find those hard to find ingredients which are unknown in American grocers.

99 Ranch Market is a classic Asian grocery store. Lots of hard to find ingredients a huge selection of seafood a small place with ready-made food a traditional Chinese style Bakery and much more. This is my go-to place for getting noodles rice wine vinegar, double black soy sauce, raw peanuts and all of the other fixings to cook good Chinese food. Even if you dont want to cook any Asian style food the seafood selection here is very hard to beat, I got a red snapper here that was amazing and cooked it in a traditional Mexican style. Totally worth going to and expanding your horizons if you have not been already

Can sometimes get a tad crowded even with covid restrictions. Vegetables aren’t the freshest. They tend of have a lot of bugs or some spoiled parts. Wide selection is always a plus.

Its an famous Asian food supermarket in California, you can shopping most of Chinese food here.

Bad shopping experience this morning. I unknowingly got into the 10 items or less register with 14 items (most of which are small - yogurt and jars of preserves), and the cashier refused to ring my items up. Now, I admit its on me that I missed the sign, but there was no line behind me and I already put all my items on the belt. By the time that I put all my items back into my cart, the cashier wouldve been done ringing all of them up. I thought the whole point of the X items or less register is to get customers out as quick as possible and keep the satisfaction high and complaints of long lines down. I certainly hope cashiers can be more flexible in the future.

Great variety of Asian cooked food, groceries, fish, vegetables & noodles. Need to be more COVID-19 conscious. For the sake of its customers.

Abit less spacious than other 99ranch, good selections

Yesterday I was there for shopping. 11/10/2020 around 6pm. I was at the restroom, and I saw one of their employees was using the restroom as well, he was doing a number one, and after he finished, he grabbed his blue gloves from his pocket and started wearing them WITHOUT WASHING HIS HANDS! and walked out and started serving a meat at the meat department! I swear to my kids, Im not lying.

Its a great place to shop. Its an Asian Super Market. They have a huge selection of fresh seafood. You can have your whole fish fried at no extra cost! Im talking Crispy like chicarones but with succulent moist meat! Great with your favorite beer! You cant reproduce this at home because it requires a lot of red hot oil.They have a great selection of groceries and kitchen goods. And dont forget to visit their bakery! They make excellent cakes that are moist and airy. Theyre ready made and ready to go. Great for special occasions! Did I mention they also look beautiful!?Staff are also very helpful and genuinely nice!

I haven’t seen a better market for sea food....i feel like i am in sea food heaven when i go to 99 ranch market, the salmon is not as expensive as in sam’s club and it is 100 times better...the people that work there are very business like and at the same time friendly i hope their quality doesn’t go down because of all the problems we have nowadays...

Always has the Chinese vegetables and ingredients that I need. The hot lunch bowls are fantastic, good pricing on sale items. Weekdays this place is ok. Weekends the parking is terrible as people are there to visit the other stores in the plaza.

This Asian grocery store has a wide variety of groceries and good collection of sea food. You can buy all seafood items fresh. The vegetable section is so clean and neatly arranged. The deli section is also good with few varieties of Asian food. Its a bit crowded and also has enough parking space. A good place to shop for groceries and meat.

The market is clean and has an extremely wide selection of Asian food and ingredients for traditional dishes. The meat and seafood sections have a wide selection of meats and fishes, both live and dead fishes, as well as many other seafood.

If you come on the weekend, prepare yourself for a bustling market with lots of people, narrow and crowded aisles (some aisles had cases of unboxed products reducing the pathway). Overall good sale prices and wide selection of Asian food ingredients. Various free food samples around the back area - from dumplings to sweet potatoes. Within the market there is a bank, bakery, butcher counter and aquariums to select fresh seafood.

If you want fresh fish, this is the place. From live Santa Barbara Spot Prawns to fish I have never heard of, they have them. Fresh pastries, Bento Boxes, and a cafe. You really should try it all. Note also they have one dozen Grade AA eggs for $1.89. That is ten cents cheaper than Trader Joes.

Good priced meat, especially pork. Great selection for fruit and veggies! Love this store. I got a rewards card today! Spend $1000, get $10 rewards. Sounds stupid but honestly if youre going to live in the area and are also an Asian or an Asian style eater, its worth.

Its a Chinese supermarket. Has whatever groceries you need along with a nice bakery and breakfast/lunch area. Fruits are always fresh and theres a liquor store and bank located inside the building. Super convenient.

Very well stocked Oriental market, everything you need at typical market plus ready made lunch box and a on site bakery store, and a East-West bank branch staffed with tellers.The only drawback is typical crowdiness and smells associated with most Oriental markets.

This 99 Ranch is one of the cleanest Chinese supermarket around. Their prices are about average but they have a good selection of products and produce. Biggest complaint is parking and traffic inside the parking lot. It is way too crowded on the weekends.

I go here every month for Chinese specialty items. The store is well maintained and stocked. It has a fresh bakery as you walk in...nice produce area...and live fish tanks. Dont go during lunch hours to go shopping because the lines are pretty long then.You can sign up for a points card and earn $$$ for future shopping.

I love ranch 99. They have very good prices compared to many of the grocery stores around. They also have a bakery. It probably wont surprise many folks but this site caters heavily to Chinese. Many of the workers dont speak English very well. My basic Chinese skills sale me to get by though.

Gosh Wait for 30 minutes to get a piece of salmon as only one person works in seafood section. No one care how long the line is.

It’s a smaller 99 Ranch Market than what I’m used to. The parking lot was packed, but I managed to find parking near the street. It’s not a very large parking facility, but it’s free. Lots of different types of food to try. The produce was fresh, the meat and fish department was also fresh and well stocked. The friendly cashier who helped me spoke a little bit of English. When I came to shop, the facility was clean and organized.

Doesnt allow own shopping bags in store anymore but still charges for bags. Other markets have started giving bags for free.
