Associates I know very little about the products and make things up to seem knowledgeable. Wait time to talk on phone to the pharmacy was over a half hour. Disgusting

Pharmacy does not answer the phone. After being on hold for 45 minutes trying to see if my prescription was ready. So I left my house to pick it up only to find out they could have it filled in 2 hours. I do not recommend this pharmacy! Prior experiences is they don’t have the medications requested and I had to transfer my prescription.

The pharmacy does not answer the phone. I was visiting in June & a prescription was called in by my physician. I need a refill now and found it was filled in Arcata. I live in NJ. Yesterday I spoke to a staff member who said she would enter the medication into the system so it could be filled in NJ. Never happened. Now I cannot call again because the staff is not picking up the phone.

Pharmacy staff all seem to have very little knowledge about stuff they SHOULD know. Prescriptions are becoming increasingly difficult to get filled quickly. Phone calls seldom get answered.

I mean, I know pharmacies can be slow, but surely you can move faster than this. Dear Lord. Oh, and they arent going to answer, you might as well just go down there. 😩

Don’t come here if you want your prescription on time.

Never have all prescriptions ready, this is a severely poorly managed pharmacy!! DC from the ER at 1200 noon with commonly prescribed medications and they still cant fill a same day prescription. Sad but using this pharmacy you will end up back in the ER for sure!

I came to rent a rug dr as well as do some other shopping, thankfully I was encountered by Alicia who was extremely kind and helpful. She went above and beyond for me and did it all with a smile on her face. She was also very informative and thorough when explaining the rug Dr to me, since I had never rented one before. It was a total breeze thanks to her. ALICIA YOURE AWESOME!

Corporate Pharmacy but stars for the workers from Clooneys and its really impossible to deal with the horrible phone situation that leaves you on hold forever....

The woman at the register, in the pharmacy, was so unpleasant. I have a teenage daughter and this woman put that teenage sass to shame. I have had several unpleasant experiences with this pharmacy, which I have kept to myself over the years. Today I chose to wait in the waiting area rather than walk around. It was then I realized that it wasn’t just me, but rather this is a practice, a sweet woman whose bday was some time in 1937, you do the math, came for her and her husbands prescriptions, they were not ready, apparently on back order. This woman was not quite understanding long story longer there was No compassion no softness, no explanation as to why her prescription was not ready. It was heartbreaking. I will be switching pharmacies immediately and I recommend anyone looking find another one as well.

This place is NOT 24 hours, it’s hella lame to advertise being open 24 hours then to show up at 2:05am and they’re closed for lunch break with a sign up that says will return at 4am then that’s not 24!!

CVS is very overpriced, I have better luck at dollar tree or costco. I have given this pharmacy a few chances and they always end up doing something annoying, they constantly switch drug manufacturers so you often dont get the same exact med every month which is concerning when it comes to psychiatric meds.I understand its not the pharmacy staffs fault, the boxes just show up they dont get a choice in what they order but they could at the very least have some sympathy. I know pharmacy techs arent doctors but they do still work in the medical field and should act accordingly.

The pharmacists are knowledgeable and the clerk staff is patient and well informed. Best CVS I have ever used.The only reason I didnt give 5 stars was the store is dingy and could use a good clean.

They are not open 24 hrs. Went at 2:55am and they were closed. Liars. I’m going to report them to the BBB for false advertising.

It’s been clean and organized the majority of the time. I recommend signing up for their rewards to get discounts and “extra bucks”. Unfortunately there are a lot of homeless/ suspicious characters who loiter in the parking lot.

Im fairly new to town and am now using CVS in Arcata. Im not sure why there are any negative reviews here, other than to attribute them to the quirks and character of those who wrote them, independent of their CVS experience. I have found that the folks here are truly helpful, and have had various prescriptions filled accurately in a timely manner. The pharmacists have bent over backward to ensure that all is in order, and called to follow up on the couple of occasions that there were issues with transferring prescriptions, etc.

No circulating fans, none any other type either, poor people w/out a sea breeze, 75 today, 82 the other, humid too. there is a river of ocean air on the back of the high school, can help, hard to find.

DO NOT USE CVS PHARMACIES. Horribly overpriced prescriptions. $200 at CVS vs $13.00 at Safeway. Highway robbery for over the counter diabetic supplies...and this is really hurting the elderly population that doesn’t understand how to use amazon, or even drive 7 miles to Walgreens in Eureka for extremely better prices. Understaffed, & apathetic.

They say 24 hours yet every single night they leave from 2:00 am to 4:00 am. Thats 22 hours not 24. False advertising . Lies and bullcrap.

Elora, the manager has a bad attitude and should develop her interpersonal skills. She displayed micro agression behavior in dealing with my transaction.

The pharmacist with the overgrown beard is unprofessional and rude,and does not explain the side effects of the drugs is prescribing and overdosed my 13 year old daughter. I will be switching to a better pharmacist.

24 hours my ass. I got there tonight at 10pm and it said closed. Be back at midnight. Also this is not the first time. I used to get off work around 1am and Id get to cvs and itd say closed until 4am. I dont understand why it is advertised as 24 hours.

I have never had a good experience with the CVS pharmacy, let alone the prices and quality of products carried in the rest of the store. I have literally never ONCE gotten my prescriptions on time and every time I attempt to have my medications transferred they lose the paperwork...every. Freakin. Time. If you have medications you actually need to use, DO NOT use the CVS pharmacy...theres no telling if youll ever actually see said medications

What a joke of a pharmacy! All I can say is INCOMPETENCE!

Such a chaotic and disorganized pharmacy! My prescriptions are usually late and have been wrong the last two times. Once they lost my prescription all together over Thanksgiving and I had to wait for my doctor to return to town after the holiday to write a new one. The pharm tech who lost it was so rude - no apology. I avoid this place now whenever I can - so should you!

This is BY FAR, THE WORST STAFF, ESPECIALLY IN THE PHARMACY @ ANY CVS IVE BEEN TO! MOST RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL EMPLOYEES EVER!!!!

They post that they are open 24/7. But, they close from 2:45am- 4:15am for a “lunch break”. Technically, this isn’t a 24/7 establishment at all. This makes it very inconvenient for those people getting off from work at 2:30 am to grab essentials before heading home.

I went there tonight about 11pm and a sign on the door said Closed until further notice, sorry for any inconvenience...what is up with that? And sorry this is not a 24 hour PHARMACY, the Pharmacy part closes at 9pm. It is just the store part that is supposed to be open 24 hours.
