I just moved to the neighborhood a couple years ago. I had left my interior map light on like a dummy, and my car would not start and I had to make it to an appointment with little time to spare. I walked to this shop which was a block from home, and asked if they could give me a jump or have someone give my car a start. He gave me his emergency jump kit and asked me to drop it off when I was done.So the next time I needed a mechanic, I went to them. Its an honest, professional shop run by decent people. Well spoken and knowledgeable techs and a shop clerk that helped explain the services and schedule my appointment.They provided an estimate, but billed me less in both visits. My car has been returned clean with a full explanation of work done and accurate to the quote. Id recommend them to anyone looking for good service and honest work.

I went there for the first time today for my state inspection. Staff were so pleasant, my car was done within a few hours and I wasn’t sure if I needed an oil change, so I told the staff if it needed one, to do it. Turns out I still had a good amount of miles left and they alerted me that they didn’t have to do one, which I appreciate because I was genuinely unsure and would have gladly paid for an oil change! It’s great to take your car to an honest shop! My husband and I will definitely use Wynnewood Park Service again for both of our cars!

I have regularly gone here for service for on several cars I have owned over the past 15+ years. Wynnewood Park Auto has reliably fixed problems with my cars (unlike one of the local dealers); I attribute this to their ability to actually diagnose and understand a problem --- on several occasions Ive had them identify something and fix it after for example the dealership could not fix it.They are also unperturbed and capable when it comes to the few maintenance items needed for a Tesla Model 3, e.g. required annual inspection, or silicone on the window gaskets to prevent freeze-up in the winter.

*UPDATED REVIEW*5 stars for the quality work and attempt at good custumer-3 stars for the inexplicable pricing modelEd, the owner was nice enough to reach out to me a few times, by email and by phone in response to the first review I left. He stated that he wanted to explain their pricing and discount policy. He started the conversation by reminding me that I had received a discount of 100+ dollars (AAA) and that I had brought my own parts, so I had cut into their profit. Interestingly enough, I’ve brought my own parts previously and have never been told that this was against any sort of policy, but I guess because it didn’t cut into their profit that greatly it didn’t matter. He continued to complain that he pays $1400 a year to AAA in order to offer customers a 10% discount and that he doesn’t want the discount publicized because more customers would request it, which (you guessed it) would further cut into their profit. I then interjected to state that if they didn’t want to honor the policy then they need to remove the AAA signs and to explain that my concern was how I was charged. He remarked “it depends”. He stated that I was charged by the 1/10 of an hour. When I remarked that there was no indication of this anywhere on my invoice and asked him to explain each charge. He stated that he did not have the invoice, so he couldn’t speak to it (Though he was able to speak repeatedly to the fact that the exact amount if the discount I had received). He then proceeded to say that sometimes they charge by the task, but could not tell me how this is decided. He used an example that an oil change is $8. Great one. When I told him that I had been charged $15, he told me that I was charge additional because the air filter was changed; however, my invoice reflects that I was not charged for the install of the air filter (side-eye). I questioned this and he stated that he would call me back once he had reviewed my receipt.When he called back 3 days later, he simply stated that he had looked at my receipt and that I had not been overcharged. Convenient. Who’s really going to admit to overcharging a customer? BUT still no explanation for the charges. Instead, Ed again reminded me (yep, you know already) that I had received a 10% discount from AAA and again remarked (at least 3 times) that I had cut into their profit by bringing my own parts. He was however, nice enough to suggest that I contact AAA to have them look into whether or not I was overcharged and if in fact I was, apparently AAA would require him to refund me the overage. While a generous offer, I simply have no time to invest the effort into this approach (though I may if I get annoyed enough at some point). At the moment, I simply find it much more worthwhile to dictate this review and let all of you great Googlers know of my experience. As high quality of the service that I’ve received several times before, sadly I don’t intend to return. If I want to waste hundreds of dollars, I’d rather toss it up a wild boar’s rear then pay extra to a mechanic because they’re annoyed that their profit was skimmed.If you need a experienced mechanics, drop in. What I like most about them is if it doesn’t need to be done, they won’t do it. On the flipside, if I have one annoyance, it’s that you never know what how the labor will be charged. I’ve been charged by the hour (usually for smaller, quick jobs)and other times (especially if I’m having major work) they’ll charge for each task. It would really be helpful to know the distinction. Also be sure to ask for the AAA discount if you’re a member. They have signs, but won’t remind you.

In addition to the four characteristics already on the form (Good quality, Good value, Professional, On time), Ill add FRIENDLY and HONEST. They got to know us (and our vehicles) really quickly, theyll charge you a fair and reasonable amount for the work they do, and they will not charge you for anything that doesnt need to be done: theyll tell you what the issue is and how urgent (or not) it is.

I have brought my 1980s Jeep to Wynnewood Park for annual inspection the last few years. Ed and team are very fair in evaluating whats needed for inspection v. whats necessary for a car that moves ~500 miles a year. No nickel and dime recommendations, just the facts of whats necessary for safety and what could stand to be replaced, but doesnt need to be now. Wynnewood Park is the place to go for honest auto work at fair prices.

Wynnewood park service is the only place I take our cars! It’s actually the only place I’ve ever been where they just do an inspection, instead of saying you need a thousand other things fixed. They also fixed a mechanical problem with my car that 3 other places couldn’t figure out. I pass about 5 other mechanics on my way here, but it’s worth the distance for good service.

I’ve taken both of my vehicles here over the past few months, one of them for PA safety and emissions testing and the other for suspension issues. They’re honest and professional and always provide services promptly. One of the mechanics took the time to walk me through the suspension problem, took pictures of the issue to show me, and gave me an estimate for how long I could probably go before the issue becomes serious. They are always honest. I was requested to repair the brakes at another shop. So I brought it to Wynnewood Park. They suggested not repairing and waiting six months. They have never requested unnecessary repairing jobs

They do good work and are extremely fair and honest. When I was in a pinch, they even did some work before I could pay them -- really saved my butt. They did a bunch of repairs and replacements on my 20 yr old pick up. When I had my good friend whos an out of state mechanic put it up on his lift, he told me that wherever youre getting it worked on is doing good work. Thanks Wynnewood Park!

I took my vehicle for them to do a safety check for my sons car. He had said the brakes were soft. When I picked the car up, they said the brakes were fine.A few weeks later my son was still concerned about the brakes. I took the front wheels off and checked the brakes myself, total mess. Brakes pads worn unevenly and the pad on one side was completed gone, rotors worn with grooves. I cant imagine why this repair shop would let me leave their place with brakes like this, especially since I told them I was concerned for my sons safety since he is a new driver. Not sure why they would be this neglectful and pass up an obvious new brake job. My only thought is that they are incompetent or simply did not even look at the brakes. This is not what I was expecting after reading some of the other reviews. I would not recommend them, too many other places to go in the area.
