Their almond coffee cake is absolutely amazing. It is sweet, crunchy with a luscious almond flavor that is not that common everywhere. Whoever bakes this treat is an expert baker.:-) Its a nice place to sit, both inside and out too!

I love La Dolce however I think during these times it is unacceptable to have a under the weather barista serving drinks without so much as a mask. Under normal circumstances I don’t want to be served by someone who is sick, let alone during a pandemic. We ordered one drink and were considering ordering more however left as soon as we realized. I’ll be thinking twice before coming back.

This is the absolute coziest little coffee shop I have ever been to. The lady taking, making and serving our orders was an Peach. A very competent, thorough, experienced batista from my experience. The baked goods are the best one could possible achieve. Everything I have ever tried from here melts in my mouth in flavorful bursts of perfectly confected, masterfully baked, and pouring out proof of homemade authenticity deliciousness. La Dolce Vita is the perfect locally ran (and I believe owned) coffee shop / bakery in this area. No franchise, restaurant or gas station beats this diamond in... well .. old Town Arvada.

The coffee is great but I go to LDV for the warm, friendly, relaxed environment. The owner and employees utilize old fashioned customer service that you cant find anymore. LDV is one of the best features of Olde Town.

Nice little coffee shop with yummy sweets and breakfast items. The breakfast croissant was hearty and delicious. The coffee also delish and the service, friendly. I love the family feel of this place ❤️. I do think some of the cozy chairs need to be replaced as I felt like I was going to fall through a few lol...but that is minor and fixable later as theres plenty of other seating. I recommend this local gem for anyone needing a coffee, drink or yummy food while roaming old town Arvada. #SupportLocal

One of the cutest coffee shops in old town Arvada. As you walk in the front door your showcased into an antique style coffee shop with a home town vibe. Plenty of tables and chairs to go around with multiple outlet hookups. The back room has a beautiful full room mural of mountains and Colorados skyline. Its been said to be 3d when you wear 3d glasses. Gotta try it for myself next time I come to town:) As for the expresso its buttery and smooth with notes of oak. The iced coffee has a strong but smooth presence even after the ice melts it down. As for food their breakfast burrito is too die for and it reaches from one side of the plate to the other. The cinnamon toast they serve is similar to how my grandma used to make it. A perfect snack to pair with your morning coffee.

Excellent coffee. The barista that was there the morning of Sunday May 23rd was so nice. My wife had a migraine and he offered us water and was so gracious and helpful. Great place.

I instantly fell in love with this quaint little Cafe. I tried their iced caramel macchiato, coffee cake and spinach quiche. And I must say, everything tasted incredible. Would recommend this cafe to all coffee and tea lovers.

The Crowbar is a masterpiece, and the food will make you wonder why you eat any where else. The staff is incredible, and are always happy to do amazing vocal performances. Their vocals will make you think Whitney Houston has possessed them and given them the voices of angels.

I had the light roast and if Im not mistaken, it was an ethiopian yirgacheffe and it was perfectly brewed and delicious. I also had their made to order breakfast burrito which was great. Fresh ingredients, hot, and brought to my table which was a nice extra touch.The cafe is very quaint with an awesome old school atmosphere... Total downtown/old town Arvada vibe. Asked lastly the staff is super friendly. I left with a new cafe on my list to recommend and revisit when Im that area. Enjoy!!

Flat out amazing selection, quality of drinks and food, and service. I love everyone here, and visit this shop regularly. Its some of the smoothest, most affordable, delicious coffee in Arvada. Quality grounds, loose leaf and packeted tea, etc. Theres always plenty of seating and a real sense of community. Sometimes they have live music, and they always have punch cards. They also have three bathrooms, so you can say goodbye to the wait for the bathroom in most places.You can go to a ritzy looking coffee shop down the street, a questionable fair trade coffee shop across the street that never fails to serve bitter coffees... or you can go here! La Dolce Vita is by far the best coffee shop in Denver. Its not some uber snobby shop trying to copy the corporate green. Its family owned. Family operated. The locals that frequent this shop are loyal and back it. Known as LDV it has survived the recent pandemic. If your looking for a great cup of coffee, cool locals to meet, a place for a first date, great coffee, a business meeting spot look no further.LDV the owner and her staff are always willing to have you stop in.My absolute favorite coffee spot. It took me along time to write this review because I didnt want my secret spot to get out. Now I know everyone should try it. I hope you fall in love with it as much as I have.

Knowledgeable baristas that are friendly. Although cortado is not on the menu, the lady knew the drink and was accomodating. The espresso is top notch.The homely and casual atmosphere was a refreshing change from pretentious coffee scenes. Found musicians hanging out in the early mornings and overhead sagely advice among the locals. A very good vibe. Im visiting from the East Coast. Arrived at around La amarga vida on 27 Dec 2020-at 715-7:20 am. Heard coffee was amazing here. One Sign said open, another said closed today, door was locked. Barista was inside, so I tapped on window. She ignored us. We left. I decided to call and see if they had a recording of operating hours. Whaddya know? Amanda picked up phone and said they were open. We returned and got coffee, and just asked her why she hadnt acknowledged us when we were there earlier, we just wanted to ask if they were going to open at all so that we could come back- lots of places open later due to covid. She replied: we dont open til 730 and I wasnt going to open early.No one asked her to open early. Judging by chairs up on table this is take-out only. Amanda was rude. Poor customer service skills.

My first time going to this cute coffee shop! I work at a coffee shop downtown Denver and I know how important first impressions are. I am not a huge fan of the brewed coffee BUT they make their own pastries, which is rare for coffee shops, and the guy I talked to was incredibly nice. This is definitely a place I would like to spend my money solely based off of kindness and good conversation. Love the sense of community!

This place is phenomenal, theres absolutely no reason to go to Starbucks when we have so many amazing little joints like La Dolce Vita! They have absolutely delicious coffee and an amazing selection of tea. The quiet, comfortable atmosphere is fantastic. La Dolce Vita as a little gem that you dont want to miss out on!

My fella and I go here, he more often than myself. Its a great little coffee shop. Their coffee is very good and I love that they remember my guys order. They have fantastic homemade pastries and also have a lunch menu. I believe they sponsor events and live music. We enjoy having our coffee there and not to go. Theyre also kid friendly. 😊

It was described as light and delicious. It was literally like eating delicious air... I cant wait to come back and enjoy more live music!

Awesome, chill, small-town coffee shop with tasteful decor, good coffee, and live music on Sunday. Breakfast/brunch food selection is simple, but well laid out. Have enjoyed going here for years to support this family owned business.

The staff is friendly and the prices are reasonable. All of their drinks are pretty good too. Sometimes Ill go in here and see people just sitting in a corner playing a guitar, relaxing. Some bookworms, some older folks and teenagers also frequent La Dolce Vita. Its a really laid-back atmosphere. Although, I do see some local business people having lunch too, so it seems like a good place for meetings and studying. Ive never been, but I hear they also have live music some nights. Overall, I never have a bad experience when I go here.

I dont know how old some of these reviews are. Debbie who runs this is wonderful. It has a very comfortable atmosphere and rolls and food is homemade. Come on Sat night for great music fun. Open mike every other Sat so popular it can get crowded. I love their coffee. Great place to study and hang out in the week.

Amazing coffee and the pastries are out off this world. Definitely blows away the chain places. We dont live very close but when we are in the area, we make sure to come here as often as possible without it constituting stalking. We love it.

Such a neat place. Comfy and friendly, just as a coffee shop should be. An eclectic mix of musicians keep things interesting, too. Theres often a musician or two hanging out in the house and they can sometimes even be bribed to play a few random songs on the fly.Overall, a very friendly experience.

Bathrooms are horrible. Way to small, you have to keep your bag or purse outside just to manuever around, looking at the dispensers for toilet paper and paper towels will confuse anyone. If that doesnt do any damage to your sensibility, the cluttered menu and free standing ice cream bin that doesnt look like it would pass a health inspection. This coffee house is stuck on its own brand, kind of hard to get behind when only one employee can make coffees one at a time.
