My wife has been going here for years so it was time to check it out. Great place. While they were running a bit behind, they made me comfortable, got a good look at my eyes and made sure I had no problems. Great location and set up. Hope to have a new place for a long time.

I have been going to Arvada Vision Clinic since 1996. The front office staff are always kind, caring, and very helpful. Dr. Cross is spot on with my difficult prescription and is always available to answer my questions or concerns. I would not trust my eyes with anyone else. Arvada Vision Clinic is a five star professional office and one of the best!

I called in the morning about an appointment as a new patient due to feeling like something was in my eye. They gave me an appointment for the next morning since nothing was available and I didn’t feel it couldn’t wait. I let the receptionist know I worked close by and could come last minute if anyone canceled. A few hours later they called and told me the doctor said he would work me in before lunch. Staff were very friendly and helpful and Dr. Bashford was great! Friendly, attentive and explained everything he was doing. Excellent experience overall. Thank you!

Dr. Bashford is very professional at what he does and shows a true care of his patient and they’re needs. At the same time you are treated as if you are in a family setting. I want to share what a wonderful eye clinic this is. The doctors are all so knowledgeable and kind. I truly feel cared for and that my best interest is their goal. I can always get an appointment in a timely manner and the girls at the front desk are so helpful. I appreciate the time the that Dr. Bashford has taken to answer all my questions and concerns. I have recently moved out of state but will always go back there when I am in town as I feel they are so fair and honest and competent.

I received a bill from this place saying I owe $85 for contacts. Ive never been to this clinic in my life. I asked them what the bill was for, the lady on the phone hung up on me when I wasnt even done talking. I have the call recorded as I always do and I have the bill they sent to me. I called her again because I was concerned on how they got my information and why I am being billed when Ive never been to their clinic the same lady did say that she is going to waive the bill like she is doing me a favor. Ive never been to their clinic! I need a response from their HR in regards to this manner and the rude behavior from this employee that claims to be the manager and refuses to have me speak to someone else or higher authority.

If you want to go to an Eye Clinic with a friendly atmosphere and amazing service, I 100% recommend this location. The Doctors and technicians love to get to know and help you to the best of their ability. Not to mention, the reminding phone call about upcoming appointments is a life saver!

Our family of 6 has been going to this fine clinic for 20 + years. Kind and efficient doctors and staff. I always enjoy choosing new frames with the trendsetters downstairs. I think it must be very difficult for eye doctors to keep on time, with the many patients coming in with different needs- for eye dialation and different treatments that no doubt put their schedules at risk. We drive 1 hr 10 minutes to receive eye care here, and always will.

Great service and a very friendly experience. Staff was knowledgeable and went above and beyond to replace my lenses that I wasnt happy with. They were also the only vision center that would take responsibility for replacing lenses in Oakley frames. All others that I visited (including the office that originally sold me the frames) refused to take any responsibility for damage went replacing the lenses.

I wont bring my eyes to anyone except Dr Bashford! I even moved across town and am happy to make the drive. Hes amazing and has helped me through some unpleasant situations and I couldnt appreciate him more or recommend him any higher!

I have been going to Arvada Vision Clinic for 15 years. Dr. Cross takes his time and thouroughly addresses all concerns. The staff is friendly, helpful and great at what they do. I have my choice of eye clinics and travel from out of state so I can continue my eye care at Arvada Vision.

These people are life savers. I waited until the last minute to reorder my contacts and of course I was leaving on vacation. When I told the girl on the phone this she immediately offered to get me a few contacts, to get me threw until I got back, at no charge. I’ll never leave this eye clinic.

I started seeing Dr. Gunderson, and then he retired. Since then Ive been seeing Dr. Brown. She has been wonderful with my whole family. Everyone in the office are warm and welcoming! Thanks !

This place is a Zoo and makes it feel like they do not want new clients. They are friendly with their aging clientele but we’re over 30 min late for my 60 min appt. I had to leave due to other commitments and will not be going back

I am an active guy and I am part of a small population of people who cannot wear contact lenses. Dr. Bashford and the staff at Arvada Vision and Eye Clinic have been wonderful in offering me other solutions for my prescription outdoor eye wear. They have helped me find eyewear for riding my motorcycle and utility vehicles (inside of a helmet), special ski googles, and even prescription snorkel and scuba diving masks. I highly recommend Arvada Vision and Eye Clinic for the care and time they take to not only care for and correct vision but for the personal touch of getting to know individual needs and helping to solve challenges.

This is a very sad decision for me to make, but was made easy after my follow up appointment yesterday. Ive been a patient for 15 years or so. Unfortunately, it has become apparent that rushing appointments and $$$ has become the driving force of this practice, instead of actual patient care. Was given trial lenses, absolutely do NOT like them, they literally feel like they are going to pop out when I blink. Upon explaining this, my concerns were pretty much dismissed, and the RX was written out for these awful lenses anyway. Oh yeah, quite literally the MOST expensive lenses on the market, I might add (Like, $1200 for the year... Ummmmm, LASIK is now cheaper than contacts?!!) Also, my concern for my chronic dry eyes was never addressed. When I asked for a printout of the RX so I can try to find them elsewhere for cheaper, I got the stink eye and serious attitude. Am now seeking a new optometrist, and will be suggesting my family to do the same. Truly a bummer, as Steve downstairs, is quite possibly the best eyeglass hustler in the biz. Will miss your banter buddy, GO BRONCOS! :(

Absolutely awful service. I went in because they accepted my insurance but I will never go back again. I ordered some glasses and they did not deliver what I asked for. They made the lenses longer than what was on the the frame orginally. They didnt polish the bottom rim and when asked about it they said its not automatically done and they have to request it. I also asked for thin lenses, which I didnt get, only to be told they could have used a thinner material. The worst part was they lied straight to my face and told be they suited my face which they didnt. These people are not here to help. They are only here to rip people off and take their money. DO NOT GO HERE!

Doctor Bashford is wonderful, have taken my kids there for years. But the staff leaves a lot to be desired. Many of them never very helpful, give more grief than help. Usually cant get any help or answer I need without complaining to Dr.

I have been a patient there for as long as I can remember; for many years under the care of Dr. Gunderson (until he retired) and lately under Dr. Stephen Bashford. The care and advice has always been excellent. Even though I could get full eye care from my other insurance, I continue to go to Arvada Vision and Eye Clinic, I like and trust them. Their optometry department is outstanding and their service is always outstanding. So easy to just pop in when needed for an adjustment to my frames, they always take great care of me. Not the least expensive but you get what you pay for these days, their staff is tremendous. I have been a very happy customer for many years!

Disappointed patient of 12+ years leavingI have been going here forever and while I love Dr. Cross, my prescription ran out by a matter of days and I need ONE contact to make it to my next appointment. Want to guess how much they wanted to charge me for ONE contact?TWENTY DOLLARS!!!You can get a whole box of contacts for $26. I was stunned that after giving them so much money over the years they couldnt either give me ONE contact to get by or at the very least be reasonable on the price. Im sorry to say that they have lost my respect and more importantly my business.Shame on you.

Dont go here go to a competitor! This place is a joke. I have been going here since I was little it used to be good, but now I cant even believe what I was told. My husband had an appointment scheduled, the day before they called him berated him about not accepting his insurance plan and that hed have to pay out of pocket or cancel is bull. They didnt even care to check the other insurance website since our insurance changed this year and we now have VSP not eye med. She was positive we have eye med, but I have the card in front of my face and they didnt care to look it up while I was on the phone just argued that we should know what it is. Then I told her we have vsp and to see about getting his appointment back and was told they already filed it and he would wait until they had another opening later or come in the morning which wont work with his work. I said how is this his fault since you made him cancel by what you told him. She was like well you could have told it was VSP. I explained I called the competitor and they were able to search for me, and I just found out about 5 mins prior to talking to her, and that I work overnights how am I supposed to when Im given a Cigna card with a number one it. The Cigna website clearly was directing us there when I searched in network doctors who accept our plan and they were the first one to pop up. They also told my husband when he set the appointment that he has to be there a hour and a half early, am I missing something? I know that doesnt need to happen sounds like they have really gone down hill. However with how this ALL went down I am extremely upset with where they are now. I plan to find another facility that is competent in searching before berating their clients about their insurance, or who will look up with me on the phone about their insurance plan, but clearly I dont know what Im talking about. DONT GO HERE -Go to a competitor!

Was having serious vision issues and got in to see Dr. Bashford. Told him my concerns and he just blew me off. All said and done they just want to sell you some expensive glasses. The receptionists are very rude and impatient. Terrible experience!
