Put, pitch, chip, drive... Their practice facilities are really nice for the space! The course is one of my favorites in CO and so well maintained compared to all others in the Denver area. Greens, fairways, rough, and native are always looking great! Tons of trees plus they sit in a valley, so even on hot days its not that bad. Wish the range wasnt so expensive and they had more accurate yardage flags, but thats about the only negative thing over there.
I do not golf. However, we recently threw a graduation party for my daughter in the club house. It was absolutely perfect. The food was delicious and plentiful. Dian and the staff were very attentive. Beverages were full, food was full, dirty plates were picked up immediately. Everyone was very pleasant and just made the party a success! I can’t wait to have our next event there. Thank you!!
Nice course, however the pro shop/staff are very dis-organized. Do not expect to tee off at your tee time, as they rarely have a ranger who will track rate of play. I regularly have to tee off 20-30 minutes after my regular tee time, and the course is usually backed up. Also, watch out playing twilight here. They only employee teenagers who they need to get home, and will not rent carts after 5:30. Theres almost a sense of urgency to get all the staff out of there ASAP, despite what might be going on.
Well, enough cant be said about staying in the fairways! If you got golf balls that are tree magnet prone, leave in your bag. Cause they will find a tree on this course. Well groomed course. Great staff and price was right.
Poor overall experience. Started late due to pro staff. Then later we were harassed by the marshals who were upset with my girlfriend who was not taking very long. We let the group behind us pass because they almost hit us multiple times teeing off too early, then got yelled at again by the marshal for being 20 minutes behind (we were on the tails of the group who almost hit us multiple times and had no opportunity to go faster) he then told my girlfriend to just pick up her ball after weeks of practicing to play 9 holes even after we pointed out there was no faster we could go. After about 5 minutes of time wasting and holding up the group behind us due to the course marshal not making sense, we scrambled one hole and finished about 2 entire holes in front of the group behind us. I’ve just never get so rushed on a course, and disrespected by 80 yr old man who couldn’t out drive my girlfriend who has never played 9 holes, on a course that has neglected greens and tee boxes. Will not go back.
I really like this course when the grass is cut. The past 3 weeks, the rough has been too deep to play unless youre ok with losing a ball anytime you miss the fairway. They blamed it on the equipment getting clogged. Maybe the owner should stop taking all the money and spend money on better equipment if that is the case because either way, they are going to lose money because everyone I talk to says they arent going back till the roughs are cut. CUT YOUR GRASS.
Danger Will Robinson!Flight paths cross each other at points, and we had to seek cover behind trees!
Great city course. Very walkable. Great value.
Golf for the rich, nothing for the poor. Be prepared to be class discriminated. Will no longer gives this place my money. Such a shame too
This is a wonderful golf course. It is well kept with acceptional challenge to it.
The grass had been mowed and not raked. Cut grass all over clubs, shoes etc. Otherwise very fun.
Great course.Wish more players would fix their ball marks on the greens.
Very clean courses, great on prices very, very friendly staff 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Great course! Par 3 has a good mix of short and longer - driving range is set up nicely
I have never been treated so poorly at any establishment as I was at this golf course. Somebody at the golf course opened up an early tee time which we saw online and booked. We were yelled at by the front desk, they took our license plate number and threatened to call the cops and refused to look at the confirmation we had on our phones. They knew it was a legitimate tee times because they knew who’s last name it was booked under. They acted like the whole situation was our fault even after admitting one of their staff opened the tee time for their friends. The grounds keepers were also incredibly rude and keep saying things to us during our round. Our golf outing was completely ruined by the unprofessional staff and their mistreatment of paying customers. After reaching out numerous times to talk to Allen the manager I have not been able to reach him or get a call back to discuss what happened that day. I would not recommend this course to anyone unless you like paying to be treated like dirt, if thats the case then sign right up.
Always a fun course in good condition with a nice staff in proshop and restaurant.
One of the ugliest courses Ive been to in Colorado challenging wise. Worse part was we were watched like a Hawk by the the ranger through the whole course. He never even asked to verify my receipt, instead he just watched me and my son. He even started making jabs at how we golf and snickering the whole time. Very uncomfortable. I asked him nicely if he would let us just golf, to which he got real angry and even raised his voice telling us to go to another course if we didnt like what he had to say. This all started on the 2nd hole. Very unprofessional and uncomfortable. This was our FIRST time, and our LAST time coming here. I tried to explain it to the gentlemen at the counter to which he even got upset at me. Im in awe at how poorly we were treated. The course is subpar at best. Hyland Hills is even a better course. If youre thinking about trying this place out, SAVE YOUR MONEY!! The greens are BROWN, and theres alot of weeds and dead sod throughout the course. Not very many long drives, barely a low par 4 on most of them. 2 holes even said 4/5 on it. 1 water hazard which was real easy. Very disappointed in the course and the staff.
Went to the driving range over lunch and it was packed. I messed around their chipping area and that was nice.
Local member, great course for the price.
My 93 year old friend and I parked at the pond area and ate our lunch. It was so peaceful. The geese and the traffic were no where to be heard.
Staff unfriendly and unaccommodating and course in very rough shape. First and last time at this course.
Fun inexpensive course. Good shape for a public course. Nice variety of holes. 2nd time I’ve played it and pace of play both times was good. Greens had a lot of ball marks that weren’t repaired but expected with a public course
We were rushed off the course by the staff. Tried to use the bathroom around 7:45 pm but everything was locked up and closed. According to their hours of operation on google, they close at 8:30 pm. Get your info straight.
Love it course is in great condition
Positive experience. Fun golf course with tree lined fairways, long back 9. Challenging holes and on certain holes local knowledge helps. Always love playing this course.
Awesome place, course is in great shape
Great womens Golf clothing! Great course too! Staff always friendly! Unfortunately shop closed right now.
Friendly staff, fun course, an enjoyable trip
Staff was very nice.Course was in very good shape.Able to make tee time online and so did not have to go inside at check-in to pay for the round. It was billed automatically to credit card.
One of my favorite golfing spots! not snobby like some of the other courses I have frequented in the past.
Amazing course and excellent service! Very pleased that they were amenable to my last minute cancellation
I love this course! My girl Jaquie Buttrick is amazing!
Great place! Great day!
ITGC is always a 5☆
Great golf course, pretty good range and practice facility. Prices are fair across the board. Helpful and friendly pro shop staff. Decent bar and restaurant. Food is pretty good and the bartenders make good drinks.
Enjoyed the course. Greens seemed really fast.
Played the par 3 course. It was great practice for approach shots and a lot of fun. Pace was nice and relaxed, not crowded, challenging greens if the ball doesnt land in the right spot. Ill be back for more.
Beautiful course, challenging without being overly difficult. Cant wait for the par 3 to open back up so I can try that!
Im very new to golf so I took I lesson from Willard. He didnt overwhelm me with a bunch of information. Very good teacher! Very encouraging. Highly recommend him
Par 3 is cheap enough
The prices are pretty good. The grounds are very well kept and the course is super fun. Theres a driving range, putting green, and a chipping green. They even have a par 3 course. Only downside is the place is usually fairly busy and most 18 hole rounds play a little bit slowly.
Always a nice range! Note: currently hitting of mats only for social distancing.
Well maintained and great course. Only saw the drink cart once per 9
Very well maintained..theyre careful with the covid. Felt good to get out for the first time this year.
Love playing the par 3 at Indian TreeGreat warm up after long lay over.
Best maintained public golf course around
Excellent par 3 course for beginners or for a quick outing
Glad the driving range was open on a winter day. They also had nice new pads with adjustable Tees to hit off of.
Definitely pros and cons. Ill probably play it again because its close to where I live. But I do enjoy a few other courses more.I chose this course because of the website and it is somewhat close to my house. The write up on the course and the superintendent made me think the course would be immaculate and play really well.Overall...i wad disappointed. The fairways and tee boxes were rough and in need of lots of repair. Some things were being worked on - like cart paths and how they engage with the fairway...but tee boxes and fairways had many dry and bare patches. Sure...its spring...but other than aeration. There was no sign that the golf course was doing much. They werent even outlined with paint to signify ground under repairOverall there were two things that saved my rating from being lower.First, it was a great day for golf. And any day you can get out is a good day.Second was that we got bumped. I know... sounds crazy. We were running late due to traffic. I called to notify the shop of our ETA. While they were rather snippy on the phone (a negative) when we arrived, we had been placed in a later group...definate plus.I have friends who have played here so Im hoping my experience is due to spring golfing conditions.
Great place to golf. Public course. They have leagues and also meetup groups there for singles at the bar.
Very nice course and reasonably priced. Greens (all but 1) in great shape. New carts (no GPS though). Did not try the restaurant. Well done!
The course was in great shape. Played quickly.
Beautiful golf course
Great place to golf. This place is all about the customer experience. The course is challenging and fun to play. They have plenty of mature trees, decent hazzards ...and will allow you to use every club in your bag. I have played here several times. One time they supplied golfers fresh apples and water while golfing.
I really liked the course. Traditional American golf course. Good community feel and all around good experience. I will return.
Good value and service. Course conditions are ok.
Beautiful course, nice driving range and a very nice par 3 course
Terrible food🤢 we had a bite And looked around at each other like mine is terrible, how’s yours? Terrible! Let’s go somewhere else.Golf course is great though. Par three course. Not a lot of shade though on the Par three and none on the Hitting Range so be aware if it’s hot out. Great putting area.
Nice place to eat, the views of the golf course outside makes it a pleasant spot. Cheap prices and the food was okay (for the price) came here early season before staff has hit their stride so Ill be back later to see if the quality of the food and service gets better
Very well groomed course and inexpensive
** SLOW GREENS** If you have played Overland and then play Indian Tree youll leave your first putt about 10 feet short, I bet ya. Horrible greens they over water them super soft and slow. The layout is pretty good, 7000 yards par 70 from the tips is legit. They really need to work on the greens. Ill be back to Overland real quick.
Golf course is usually in great condition. Reason for the 3 star review is that they are selling tee times knowing you cannot finish a round in time. Only got to play 7 holes due to the fact that they came and got carts at 7pm. We were on the 6th hole and had no chance finishing the round before dark. They should either be cutting off tee times earlier, or let people finish the rounds in the carts they paid for.
Course in good condition. Long holes
My son is five and plays a good bit. He just scrambles and drops with my shot. I was told he would slow down play and they really didn’t like that. Not a good place for families I guess.
Lovely par 3 course except that a rude instructor jumped ahead of paying customers with his class and told us to start on hole 6 because it would be awhile. Really? On a Saturday morning? Didnt even offer us a chance to play through in front of his slow beginners class. Did receive a refund after I complained. Other very upset golfers. A frustrating morning on what should have been a relaxing morning. Wont you back on a Saturday.
I went to a Bernie debate watch party at the club. I thought that Klobuchar stood out as failing hard, Biden gained a bit, Warren not shaking Bernies hand afterwards was bizarre.
As a beginner I played the back 9 early this morning. I had a great time with my group, and wasnt bothered anyone. Greens were nicely manicured and the fairways were well kept too.
Perfect
Great golf course in great shape. Lots of various areas to practice each part of your game. Affordable grees fees and 19th hole.Comfortable bar and restaurant.
One of the best golf courses you can play for the money. Would highly recommend.
Expensive for what you get: beat up fairways, chunky greens, and covered in goose poop. Unfortunately, the last one is hard to deal with. Cup placement is a bit ridiculous at times too. Theyll put it at the apex of a green with falloff on every side. This isnt a PGA course; make it a bit more playable
I like Indian Tree because allow carts on the course on warmer winter days. Also, their restaurant has tasty food and drink, especially draft beer, at very very reasonable prices.
Great course. Nice practice facilities. Highly recommend.
Par 3 - 9 Hole Course - Great Condition, $12/person; $5 push cart. Its a great round to practice your short game Par.
Beautiful course. Great condition. Carts in at 8pm was kind of a bummer tho
Course is cheap and well groomed for a public course. Par 3, driving range, and a full 18. Not your typical flat Denver course, very well done. Lots of fun, but difficult. Grass driving range!Edit 8/17/18: customer service was very disappointing from 2 male employees. I talk Indian tree up to everyone about how amazing the staff is, and then I take my friends here and got my first unpleasant experience. Great way to lose both old and new customers. Sad day.
We had a great time playing at this course. It is in good shape.
Beautiful golf course, but our tournament was called due to sever lightning and heavy rain
We have playing Indian Tree for 20 + years and love it
I went to Indian Tree tonight to play a 9 hole twilight. I thought the course was in pretty good shape and I enjoyed the play overall. But.. Never in my 20 years of playing golf have I ever had the staff, on our approach to the 8TH green, come and ask to take our carts because they were closing?... Instead of waiting an extra 15 minutes for us to just finish our round that we paid for. It was about 8:00pm. Not a huge deal, we walked the last hole but I probably wont be playing here again nor will i recommend playing here. Just isnt good golf etiquette in my opinion.
Love the walk on par 3 course!
I really like this track. They keep it in good shape too.
Nice place Great service nice people
The green fee is a fair price, but I feel like the course plays slow. I have played there around 20 times and the time to play has always been longer than 4.5 hours.
Had class reunion her. Have had it here before as well. Good place to hang and see oeople
This is by far my favorite course that is very affordable! I am always impressed on how well maintained the course is, it also has a beautiful scenery in the heart of Arvada. Love the course and definitley recommend it to anyone.
Great golf course with inviting amenities. Had a lot of fun on the Party 3 Course.
Golf course was great. But skip the dinner. Im from MI where there isnt a bad golf course. The dinner was not great at all. It came in a basket!!! Ive never ate at a golf course where food came in a basket. Very weird and not very good. Its like I was eating at a car navel. Also, if you want beer for your round, make sure you get there 30 minutes before your round. Its always slow, and there is only one bar tender. Recommend the golf, but not the circus food.
Great Course!! In great shape!!
