Very difficult scenario - all-wheel drive car dead, parking brake would not disengage, on a short parking pad at the bottom of a steep drive with a 90 degree turn in it. Unbelievable they got that car on the flatbed, and with not a scratch. Treated my car like their own. Courteous, knowledgeable, very reasonable price.

I ran my suv off the side of our driveway in the rain. We tried to get it back on the drive, but it kept slipping down and came to rest 6 inches from a very large tree. To keep trying would have caused a lot of damage. We called Davis Wrecker and Darryl came out on a Sunday. He was there when he said he would be. We was very patient and studied the situation carefully. He tried first one way and when that looked like it might hit the tree, he re-evaluated the situation. He was able to pull our vehicle out of the ditch while completely avoiding the tree. Not a scratch on her. He was very courteous and professional. He treated our truck like it was his own. And you couldnt beat the price. Very reasonable, especially since it was a Sunday. I would recommend them to anyone.

Ive been using Davis Towing for 12yrs. Theyve moved a lot of cars for me through those years and have been exceptionally courteous and prompt every time. Glad they are there because things usually arent going well when I need them.

We got our minivan stuck in mud at a friends house in Weaverville. I called 4-5 businesses and no one could or would help us. I finally reached Davis Wrecker Services. The man I spoke to was friendly, helpful, and upfront about the cost. He was close to Hendersonville and had to switch trucks on the way to us, but he arrived within an hour of my call. The driver was efficient and friendly and had us rolling again within minutes. I would definitely recommend!

Good place to go to for towing your car and truck

Ive been through the ringer with AAA. I have an E450 minibus that Ive been paying for and AAA sends two drivers that cant tow it, first one caused $100s of damage scraping my neighbors driveway. After 8 hours with AAA I fired them, called Davis-no s*#%- within 30 minutes Darrell, an extremely honorable and efficient guy, showed up and within 5 mins had the vehicle ready to hit the road. All of this for the most fair price Ive been given. Its a relief to know there are businesses and guys like Davis Towing and Darrell. I would recommend these guys to a friend but more importantly Id be okay to send them to help my mom if I werent around (and she drove a medium duty truck!! Yeah!)Never been this happy about paying out-of-pocket for a service Ive been paying for for years (AAA= :-/)Thanks Davis Towing and Crew.

I had called earlier in the morning for a flat and they were there within 10 minutes! When they pulled up they realized they needed a different truck and had it there within 2 minutes. Cant beat the price either. Will be using them for all my future towing needs.

Got me out of a busy intersection at night before the Asheville Police had a hissy fit, and other irate and mentally disturbed drivers harassed me even further. The driver was able to drop my truck off in a tight spot on a dark narrow road where I parked, almost just where it needed to be. Pretty fast getting to me after call, which was needed under the circumstances.

We broke down 15 miles away from our hotel on day 1 of an 8 day road trip. It was almost midnight and we were in a black car just off the side of the highway. The first company we called said it would be at least 2 hours before they could get to us but reccomend Davis. He said he would be right there but didnt say a time which had me a little nervous. I was busy calling a cab (we couldnt all fit in the wrecker with our luggage) so I didnt watch the clock closely but he got to us VERY quickly. He was so nice and helpful. Helped us find the best place to bring the car and then drove my dad to the hotel! They went above and beyond to demonstrate amazing service.

Almost ran me off the side of the road, called to tell him I had kids in the car and he told me I was in the way, he was in a hurry. Okay; if I’m in the way, doesn’t give you the right to run me off the road and put US in danger, and before I even I told him any of it he answered rudely. Terrible company. Terrible.

Well, they tow. If that is what you want. For me it was not.

A Davis wrecker truck nearly ran me off this road this morning (2/9/18), on 19/23S. It was tailgating everyone mercilessly, speeding, cutting people off, flipping in and out of lanes without a signal. Theres no excuse for this sort of irresponsible and dangerous behavior. The people at their office took it seriously when I reported the situation which is why Im leaving two stars instead of one.
