Im pretty sure this is the only local brick and mortar oddities shop. The environment is awesome. They seem to have a good moral compass when it comes to sourcing (see their bat display!) and keep a very well rotating stock. Prices range, but are usually good or reasonable. They also host events with comedy acts and local art/oddities vendors!They are also open to commissioned pieces, depending on what you want done. They did an incredible job with preserving my pet rat, Witness, for a great price :)

Absolutely awesome concept of both an oddities and tattoo shop. All if he artists work is displaced so well. Loved everything and will definitely return!

This place is truly unique, filled with hundreds of hand crafted oddities. I have made several purchases from here and I appreciate them almost daily as they sit on my bookshelf. A great place to find gifts for friends or enemies with price ranges to fit any budget. They also do cool tattoos 🤘

FANTASTIC shop! It is more like a museum really. Beautiful art,LOTS of taxidermy,skeletons and preserved bugs.The artists are top notch. I havent had the pleasure of meeting the owner but I did see his work.It was stunning . Katie and Cody are super amazing to work with and are incredibly talented! I will be going back!

Girl and Goblin is an amazing and incredible artwork treasure trove and experience. I couldve spent hours in there looking and looking over again the taxidermy art. It is outstanding! The owner is friendly and makes you feel welcome. Thank you kindly for such a wonderful experience. I will definitely be back.

I will follow Cody Reed to the ends of the earth! One of the few artists who listen to your desires, and incorporates them into the tattoo! Hes not only talented in his tattoo trade, but also capable of producing profoundly beautiful pieces, on/off skin! Im waiting to add pictures until the entire piece is finished!

Cameron has done an amazing job on my tattoo sleeve. His skill in black and white detail impresses me! He has the ability to freehand some amazing work. Cameron has great taste and that shows both in his amazing work tattooing and in taxidermy. I highly suggest Girl and Goblin!

Cameron Scofield does badass work! Seriously, his work is amazing and I wont ever go to anyone else as long as hes in Asheville. Ive been delaying getting new tattoo for a while because I couldnt find a place that I felt fit the art style I was wanting. I went to him for a last minute cover up of a yin yang on my chest. Since it was last minute I threw the idea of a bat at him. Other than that I was pretty clueless on what other details I wanted. We collaborated on ideas and came up with an awesome end result. He made sure placement, size and everything was exactly what I wanted and had me check in the mirror as he went along to make sure I liked the progress. I felt comfortable the whole time while he worked, conversation was good, and I really liked that he took the time to listen to what I wanted. No one can tell it was even a cover up tattoo. Im in love with it and am going back to him soon to finish the chest piece. I have endless tattoo ideas of things I want in the future and his art style is exactly what Im looking for. The shop was very clean and had a lot of cool things for sale. His wifes jewelry is beautiful! Im very thankful I found him and look forward to continue working with him!

My buddy Doug Abbotts told me this place was incredible so I had to go check it out. Its was right! Cam walked me thorough and explained a bunch about the pieces I was most curious about and I even got to meet his lovely wife. He did an incredible job on my tattoo and I had an amazing time. Ill be back for sure!
