Im not a tea drinker, but I might become one after having visited this beautiful little shop. The herbs and spices I bought were morning-fresh, and either the look and feel of the store was built for calm, or the glorious smell was engineered to do the same. Or maybe, given the lasting sense of peace and wellbeing you walk out with, it could be, probably is, the countenance of the owner, Abbey.

Abby, the owner, is a fantastic woman: her knowledge about spices (both medicinal and cooking wise) is great. She is available and kind. My spice blend favorite is the Raspberry Chipotle (sweet & spicy, a great rub for chicken, meat, veggies and fish!). My single spice favorite is the Sumac (middle eastern spice that makes a great sauce and can be added to marinades, salads and rubbed on meat/chicken). And my random favorite are the tea buds / flower balls! They are dried tea and flowers balls which bloom in hot water: it is magnificient! It makes a very original and gift to yourself or others. Enjoy this marvellous place! ☺

The best tea store Ive ever been to. The woman who was working when I came in showed me stuff I had never seen before. They had sage honey, not sage flavored honey, but the hive was in a sage bush and the honey aborbs a bit of that flavor, and its magical. Truly the best honey I have ever had. They also had these cool Chinese blends. I ended up getting a bit too much..... but Im not even mad. Check out the jasmine pearls if they have it. Such amazing flavor.

Absolutely fantastic service, spices and teas. The lady was exceptional with helping us decide what would be a good spice to take home. I ended up buying 4 different spices, some fantastic smelling green tea and a bag of soup. I definitely plan on ordering from this store partially in the future for the amazing service alone.

This is the best tea!! Fresh and favorable. Something for every taste. The spices are just as great. I make the soups on a regular basis.

I loved this place because I love to cook steaks and they have so many different salts and spices. I bought done bacon salt and I only wished I had bought more than an ounce!

I frequent one of this stores sisters in Downers Grove, Ill. and was so excited to see them here in Asheville! Unbeatable selection of teas and spices, including regional finds. A definite must for tea lovers and chefs (home cooks included)! The shop owner is super friendly and helpful as well! Stop in and say hi you wont be disappointed!
