Just want to thank all the staff for working especially hard through this pandemic. I am always greeted with a warm smile.I am missing be able to call in my prescriptions. However, I understand you guys are trying your very best to fill the prescriptions as quick as humanly possible.I am in amazement, how you the staff have handled some customers. To have complete strangers raise their voices and talk-down to you is straight unacceptable. Yet, you maintain your composure, try to solve their issues and show up to work again. My hats off to you. Thank you, for working; Thank you filling prescriptions; Thank you for great customer service.NOW…CORPORATE get your act together. You have An amazing team. It would be wise of you to add additional employees to lighten the load on this existing team.Consider yourself LUCKY to have such a devoted, professional team.
Just had our prescriptions transferred over when bi-mart closed their pharmacy. I tried to call in a refill and to my surprise phone was picked up and hung up six times in a row. I left work to come in person and order my meds. I came back to pick them up today at 4pm and I am currently standing in line with about 20 of my new best friends (I have been here 15 minutes and am about halfway through the line) while the one, yes I did say one cashier is doing their best. For the love of God, hire some people.
I am sad to see the low reviews. Its always been a great experience for me. I know its frustrating the wait times for pharmacy, but these people are doing the best they can with short staff and extra load with bimart closing pharmacy. Please be patient with them and the store and notice the good they are doing. If anyone still has any negative to say, let them drive to Talent or further.
Took over a week to fill my prescription, then when I showed up to pick it up, learned that they are now closing the pharmacy at 6pm despite what their website says. I showed up before 6pm the next day and there are 20 people in line without enough time to get to them all. Rite Aid needs to fix this. Ashland Pharmacy, here I come!
Worst pharmacy ever. Used to be great but now if you call in a prescription refill, they won’t fill it until you get there and then you have to wait an hour for it to be ready. And if you call to verify that they filled it, no one answers the phone. I just tried to get through to someone for an hour with no luck, to get a prescription filled that I called in for refill 3 days ago. Absolutely the worst service I’ve ever experienced from a pharmacy.
Rite Aid website has the incorrect hours for the pharmacy, I arrived an hour and a half before it says it closes and it was already closed. An employee told me that it closes at 6pm Monday - Saturday and is no longer open on Sundays at all. This is just the latest in a long list of problems with the pharmacy - Ive had refill requests ignored for a week or more causing me to run out of medications, a new prescription didnt get filled for almost a month (I no longer needed it by the time it was filled), and they consistently forget one of my medications so that when I go to pick them up, I end up having to wait while they fill that one (its always the same one). Oh, and if you try to call them the phone just rings and rings. Im going to go back today to get my current medications and then I will be switching to a different pharmacy.
Pharmacy: This pharmacy is the slowest I have ever seen in my life out of 7 cities and 2 islands. It is slower than in the Caribbean. I DO NOT recommend waiting.
Can’t beat a clean, well-stocked pharmacy with a tiny pop-up but official USPS in the back staffed by the sweetest woman on Earth. I bet people send extra packages just to hear her call them “dear.” Remember to bring cash! All pharmacies are overwhelmed and understaffed right now, so make sure to call and confirm your meds are ready before you come.
They just canceled my appointment for Covid vaccine for the fourth time! You can call them but they wont have an answer to why. They say you can walk in, but I was told you need an appointment first. Great team you got running here.
The pharmacy is the worst. No one ever picks up the phone. I called four times in one morning, waited on hold for the longest time. It always takes forever to pick up meds. This is the worst pharmacy and I’ll be switching as soon as I can.
I would give zero stars if the option was available. My complaint is with the pharmacy. I first visited to transfer an existing RX to Rite Aid in Ashland. I waited in line for 15 minutes before anyone helped me. A week later, the RX was transferred. 5 days after that I went to pick up my RX. They said it would be ready in 10 minutes. I was is a big hurry so said I would come back in the next couple of days. Two days later I stopped in to pick up my RX. Still not ready. Said to come back between 1:00 - 2:00. Then I got a text saying my RX was ready at 1:30. Came back for the third time and was told I needed a pharmacists consult, but the pharmacist was out to lunch until 2:00. That was 15 minutes so I sat on the floor and waited. I heard interactions with 6 other customers while I was waiting. All of them had been in before and all of them were told their prescriptions were not ready, or that a pharmacists consult was needed. Not a single RX was actually completed. All, with similar excuses. I waited to get my consult. Got my RX and will never return. I will transfer my RX to BiMart, right across the street. Stuff happens but the lax attitude of staff along with an apparent inability to fill anyones prescriptions is inconsistent with my idea of a well run pharmacy.
Don’t bother trying to call, no one will answer. My partner had to switch pharmacies because they kept running out of meds, and refused to give a half fill. They are always rude when you go in and ask about a prescription. I’m tempted to go back to Walmart, I’d waste just as much time driving as I do everytime I have to fight for a refill. The company needs to start paying their pharmacy staff better and treating them better. One of the techs said he didn’t have a day off for ten days. I know if I were them, I’d be grumpy and hate my job, too.
Absolutely unacceptable. Go to any other pharmacy. They are understaffed, so I sympathize to a degree, but they should at least *let people know* that there is going to be a long wait so if its an rx someone needs filled ASAP to go somewhere else. I was supposed to have my rx yesterday. Called today SEVEN TIMES before anyone answered, to be told that it definitely wouldnt be ready before tomorrow (this is a medication I rely on to sleep, live, and function, so another night without it is potentially catastrophic for me). Shut it down.
I scheduled a flu shot on line. Filled out forms went to the store to discover the pharmacy was closed. No one had the courtesy to tell me. Wh n I reached the manager she said she had to notify the state pharmacy board and they don’t respond immediately. But this was a failure to communicate between the store and the part of RiteAid that manages the websiteThe lack of competence and coordination bodes I’ll for how they handle things like prescription orders — as indicated by other reviews.
No one ever answers the phone there. I constantly have to remind them to fill prescriptions for me after I wait over a week at a time. I really try to be understanding but their rudeness just doesn’t help
Worst pharmacy ever. I had to go back twice on October 2 for my prescriptions. The dates on the bottle said they were filled on September 29th. I picked them up on October 2nd. I was told that would be ready at 2:00 I got there at 2:50 and they still werent ready. I want Braceys back. Dont just say youre sorry do something about it.
U people are redickous .get more help are close the phamcey and lot some body else take over .u already got bad reviwes
Even with the labor shortages Ashland Rite-Aid came through for my breathing meds!! Thanks so much!! Phew!
Had to change pharmacies because I could never get a refill on time. Out of a medication and they seriously asked me, “Do you need this medication today?” Without that medication I might as well just go and check myself into a hospital. I have worked at a place that was understaffed and a lot of the time I was the only employee, but it shouldn’t be that way in a pharmacy where people who need medications that keep them alive are customers.
Looks like it was recently renovated. Super clean and well stocked.
This location is a joke, I have never had a good experience at the pharmacy. I scheduled a vaccine appointment and 30 minutes later they cancelled it with no explanation. I tried rescheduling but their website is down. I tried calling back many times, but I guess theyre understaffed. Never going here again.
For Gods sake, hiring people to answer the phone.
Employee (seemed like manager of some sort) openly admitted to violating mask mandate in response to my needing to use the restroom as a customer.I hate to go full Karen, but when someone thinks their attitude rules the day, they get called out on a public platform. People need to be more thoughtful & courteous, especially at their job.Bathroom located in back of store through double doors & is locked at all times, requiring a customer ask an employee if they need to use it. Side note, Ive worked in customer service most my life & have never been to a major chain store, let alone pharmacy where employees bathroom needs are superior to customers. Restroom location & terms for patron use is ridiculous. This is a store that sells baby products & medical supplies that include incontinence products-there needs to be a restroom readily accessible to patrons!!!A frequent shopper, Ive never had a problem w/ an employee letting me use the restroom & was never told I needed to ask a specific employee. This time, Id been shopping & had a couple obvious items in my hands. Being pregnant, sometimes a bathroom trip arises at a moments notice, so I looked for an employee & not seeing any, popped my head through the double doors, mask ON & said excuse me to an employee I saw. She ignored me & walked into a room. I walked back & said excuse me Im sorry to bother you, may I use the restroom? to which she turned to me without a mask on & said did you ask one of the cashiers? I said no, as Ive never had to do that before, & there are no signs stating that rule anywhere in the front of the store or on the double doors. She replied well we ask that you ask one of the cashiers because when were back here we dont always have our masks on I was surprised by this response because there is a mandate currently in place that masks be worn by employees & customers in stores. I said well, I have MY mask on.. & she repeated her statement about asking the cashiers while unlocking the restroom door. I was about to set down the couple of items I was holding before entering the bathroom when she said did you pay for those? I understand the reason for asking but it was very accusatory & tonal..I said not yet, I was just setting them down & proceeded to do so.I hope anyone reading this understands the redundancy of the mask situation-if I have to wear one while shopping, surely employees who are there throughout the day have to wear theirs regardless of where they are in the store? Im not taking a political stance on masks, just saying if I have to, so do you, especially as a company representative!! Please dont use that as an excuse to scold me while Im experiencing an urgency to use the restroom. Be assured I am an upstanding local citizen & by no means appear disheveled or deliquent. As I paid for my items at the register, she approached to do some cash exchange with the cashier, would not make eye contact with me & was not wearing a nametag or company attire. She is a petite 20/30-something female w/ shoulder length brunette hair, guessing about 55. I just felt very judged, inconvenienced & treated rudely by her in a way I never have at this store & believe as a customer I shouldnt shouldnt feel like Im committing a crime by needing to use the restroom, especially if the employee herself admitted to & was openly violating the mask mandate. I urge this store to reevaluate their restroom availability to accommodate customers & train their employees to respect patrons. I dont expect this to happen over one complaint, but I certainly wont be shopping there anymore. There are plenty of other stores & pharmacies nearby where I am treated far better.
Their to pickup meds. No waiting. Fast check out.
Not a bad experience. The pharmacist did a good job in finding medicine that still worked and was a lot cheaper for my swimmer ear. Didn’t wait too long. Store seems pretty nice
Pharmacists is more concerned about his job than helping patients.Takes days to get a fill. Not understanding nor compassionate. Just another bothersome job for him as it reflects in his / their attitude. They have rotated 4 different Pharmacists in the past 2-years. Gives an idea of the work environment -everyone wants to get the hell out of there...Just go somewhere else.
Terrible pharmacy. Screw this place. You mess up on scripts and you have terrible customer service.
In the middle of a pandemic Vaccination effort.... just one staff member. Ridiculous. Not a service to community
I needed a prescription filled asap and I even made the mistake of having it sent to BiMart on a day they were closed. Had it rerouted to Rite Aid and it was filled within the hour. No problem.
Called prescription in Saturday AM. Recording said it would be ready in a few hours. I knew better from experience, so I went in Tuesday night. And- “We’re still working on it” ...after 3 1/2 days?
Absolutely inept! They have lost several of my prescriptions. I’ve called them in and they have no record of them. They had my wrong doctor on file after changing it twice. And are just all incredibly rude at the pharmacy.I was just talked to like a two-year-old when it was their mistake. Goodbye Rite Aid hello online or Walgreens or basically anybody but you.
Poor customer service- incredibly terse on the phone, cutting you off mid sentence.Dont trust the times they give you either or else you will be driving back and forth to the pharmacy when you inevitably find out the prescription wasnt even close to ready at the time they said it would.
Our family has become increasingly displeased with the pharmacy at this store. Today made us realize we need to get our prescriptions from elsewhere. A doctor in Portland called in a prescription for eye drops two days ago. I went in to pick it up today and waited on line for almost twenty minutes. There was one register open and the other cashier who could have been at the second register was Very Busy doing Officious Looking, Important Things. Anything to avoid the customers waiting on a line (four people ahead of me). At last it was my turn, only to be told that the medicine had to be labeled and that would take another fifteen minutes. I said I would come back. The very pleasant and polite cashier came to me in the parking lot to tell me that the medication would have to be ordered and wouldnt arrive until 10:00 a.m. the next day. Was the original prescription ignored for two days? For a drug store whose slogan is With us, its personal, or something like that, could someone not have called to let me know? I guess their time is more important than mine. Switching to Bi-Mart (upon recommendation from a few other ex-Rite-Aid clients).
Excellent service and the Pharmacist was amazing and helpful. The clerk at the counter was so sweet and very helpful. I usually dont like big chain Pharmacies. But this one went above and beyond for me. I will be back.
They do fine with getting me my prescriptions, I don’t see a problem with this place.
DO NOT COME TO THIS STORE. This is a warning for anyone looking at the reviews. When I saw the star rating, I figured that it was just because people are more vocal when theyre upset. However, the people who work here are careless and will lead to someone getting hurt. I had Pink Eye last week and got a prescription. I was a bit disoriented when I came in. I gave them my birthdate and everything and they said I would receive a text by 6pm that it was ready. I never recieved a text and when I called the next day, they brushed me off saying that it was all ready to go. When I come in, the woman doesnt ask my name, instead just puts in my birthdate. She then pulls out four seperate bottles of pills. Im confused as I leave until I check the paper that comes with it. I discover that its a perscpition for someone else for controlled substances. I took pictures in my car. The sheet also contained personal information of the woman along with her name, number, and address. I come back in and when the cashier asks if I took it out, I said yes. She then turns to the other lady and says I did not AND PROCEEDS TO PUT IT BACK INTO THE BAG. This is highly illegal as when you take a prescription out and bring it back it, its their job to get rid of it bcause it could have been tampered with. And the cherry on top, the lady took my insurance card completely away from me and told me to come back without giving it back. I am appalled by how much illegal and dangerous activity I witnessed. Someone could die or get hurt because of this. I am not reporting this to corporate as they dont seem to listen. Instead, I will be contacting the health department with evidence. But I implore you, do not come here if you value your safety.
I cant believe these are licensed pharmacists; theyre utterly inept. Street corners in Mexico city would be safer to buy drugs from than these people. My doctor had to call in the same prescription five times before they finally recieved it... then after calling in all day for the same sudafed prescription they informed me they didnt even have any in stock till next week.
I’m surprised at these reviews. This pharmacy is SO much better than Bimart.
Nice store to walk into but it goes downhill quickly after that. My prescriptions are never ready when I go there. I dont know what they do behind the counter but it is apparently not much. Im looking for a new place to go and I highly recommend that you go somewhere else.
I had a Shingles vaccine last month, and I was shocked at how filthy the immunization room was.Trash bin overflowing with human blood-stained cotton balls, bandaids and used vaccine vials. Dirty floor. I almost walked out but needed the vaccine. I wont go there again.
Today was my first day coming into this store for the first time ever, my boyfriend had gone the night before to purchase some gift cards for my brothers birthday. When he purchased the cards half of them didn’t activate & the cashier couldn’t do anything & the process was time consuming. I got half the amount I wanted, & decided I just wanted to return them after we decided on another gift. When my boyfriend cashed out he made sure to ask the cashier if he could return them (I asked him to specifically because I knew other people might have gotten him these cards we grabbed & had other presents as well, to which she replied yes you can return these cards) we just needed to make sure to take precaution, especially with the virus going around right now & how it’s affecting everyone. We took the time to walk around the store today & the selection was awesome, lots of great items but when we walked up to the counter & proceeded to tell her we had to return these untouched cards, with our receipt in hand from the evening before. She rudely kept interrupting & blatantly saying there’s nothing she can do to give us our money back, which I can understand & respect policy but I wouldn’t have purchased them if I couldn’t return them, it shows nowhere on the receipt that this isnt a refundable item. even though they’re untouched, when we tried telling her he specifically asked her if we could return them she was extremely rude & fed up & just told us there was no way to get our money back, we’ve been on hold with corporate for 20 minutes without talking to anyone. Worst store experience ever.
Slowest Rite-aid Ive ever been too. Consistently. I called in a prescription last night so they would have all day to fill it. Came after work this afternoon and have now waited 30 minutes for them to fill it.
I like the free blood pressure machine. Wish there was not so much cluttered made in Chin% items.
This rite aid is very poorly run. The pharmacy consistently takes forever and the store manager has no compassion. I watched a customer lie down on the floor they waited so long.
Incompetent, slow, and they absolutely do not care when and how they inconvenience you much less the long term effects this will have on your life. They always have an excuse but never a solution. They should be made to compensate you for the time and trouble their lack causes you but that will never happen. Whats worse is the Ashland, OR pharm has a woman at the counter that will watch the line grow as she discusses life with the customer at the front of the line. You could get your prescription faster if you travelled to Canada. Go ANYWHERE else.
Very friendly staff & they always have just what I need. Super clean!
Long wait, not very friendly. 3 hours for one prescription? What? Over state lines so they have to fill meds here instead of Cali. Not impressed. Good thing I don’t live here. Good luck southern Oregon. Walmart’s a better bet. 👎👎 edit: and the prescription laxative that was called in to pick up at same time wasn’t filled, asked about it and they said no need to be filled it’s an OTC. No. It’s not. And now I’m in California without the other medication. This place is the WORST pharmacy on the planet. Like seriously. Don’t go here. 😡
Always the worst experience at the pharmacy. Lola in the mail is the only nice person in the store I’ve encountered
Cindy is a great! give her some love !!!! She will be missed when she retires! All good things!!!!!
Its almost as if they refuse to get prescriptions filled accurately, politely and timely. Problems x 3.
Great place to mail a letter post staff was very helpful and there were no lines! Great service, thanks!
The (petite, middle-aged, white, female with an accent) pharmacist and another (white, male, young) person working at the counter were both extremely unprofessional and rude on my first visit. Worst experience picking up a prescription, ever. On another visit, a young man of color working the pharmacy counter was super helpful, courteous, and kind; he made me feel really comfortable and cared for. (Sorry for the crass descriptions: I want to make it clear my experience was poor because of these 2 people, specifically. All other pharmacy and Rite Aid employees I have encountered there have been amazing).I have only been here a couple times, so I hate generalize, but my first experience was truly horrific. That pharmacist should be fired.
First of all its a pharmacy; I have my good and bad days and so do personnel there--on their bad days they simply do their job. They can be very friendly and outgoing. As far as the rest of the store goes, the other people dont work quite as intensively as pharmacy personnel (observably the pharmacy staff are always under pressure, expectably) and are unfailingly polite and helpful. As a business Rite Aid is seeking currently to make major improvements and wants feedback (this I know as an investor and through meeting management). Disclosure; I am not an employee of Rite Aid in any way. I own some shares of the parent company, which hardly means Id advertise one of their stores locally.
As most of these other reviews, I was treated rudely and arrogantly. They dont apologize for their errors. They use an excuse of we have stricter rules here at this Rite Aide pharmacy. I told the pharmacist that there was no excuse for rudeness to customers and saying that a prescription will be done in an hour and when I came back the guy said that. I couldnt get the prescription until the next day. I asked him if it would be ready when I got there(it certainly should have been done and waiting for me).He said it would be ready...all the while with no apologies or smile or any form of proper customer care. I came in the next day and it wasnt ready. It was after 2pm. The guy said he would start it and he walked away. Same guy as the day before that had told me it would be ready when I came in. No apologies and he walked away, leaving me to stand there not knowing how long it would take him. I mean, I could have run an errand instead of standing and waiting if he had told me how long it would take him. I will never go there again. Because theyre rude and unprofessional. Not because of their stricter standards. Haha! Just an excuse for customer neglect.
Update: 1/22/20I still love this pharmacy. I have never been this satisfied so far with other pharmacies. I honestly have no idea why other people have trouble.I see these people once or twice a month for a few years now...I have always been treated well, my service has been fast compared to all other pharmacies I have used.I am completely satisfied with this pharmacy, and it’s my favorite!
This is the absolute worst pharmacy Ive ever experienced. They dont even deserve one star. The staff doesnt know what theyre doing, they lie to customers, and make what should be a simple process into a complicated nightmare from hell. Ive been trying to get a prescription filled since 9:00 this morning. Its now 4:15 and its apparently going to take ANOTHER TWO HOURS. If you want quality care, you will NEVER find it here. Learn from my mistakes, find a different pharmacy.
Never again. Poor service. Unclear on times that rx would be filled. All times I have gone I’ve been told to come back at a certain time and despite coming back later than these times the rx was either not complete or the pharmacist not available. Rite Aid seems to be working with a much smaller crew than needed. There is no way this small of a crew can provide good service.
It would be nice if Rite Aid would answer their phone?Says they are open at 8 but also says they are closed its is past 8
Pharmacists sometimes clever and helpful, sometimes out to lunch mentally; depends of who you get. The retail side is uniformly good hearted and on top of things.
I have not used the pharmacy, but have had very rude service at this drugstore. Go to Ashland Drug instead - theyre local and theyre nice. I might go to Rite Aid to get my flu shot - I will update my review then.
I called the refill line and ordered my meds giving them half a day to fill. I didnt go until the next day, and at 11:30 my meds were not filled. They said to come back at 4:00. Another time, I made an appointment with my doctor because my bottle only had two refills. After the nurse researched, she said I had refills until February. The pharmacy said I had two. There was an incidence where the pharmacy did not have my prescription and I was told I could go find it over the counter. Long story short, I changed pharmacies. I would not recommend this pharmacy to anyone.
0 stars is more appropriate. Extremely rude pharmacist on more than one occasion. I came in 5 or 10 minutes before closing to pick up a rx. The male pharmacist refused to bill my insurance & tried charging me $300 for a $45 medication. I moved my rx to another pharmacy & will not be returning to this Rite Aid again.
I started going to Rite Aid to use the Post Office branch within. On occasion I have purchased items there and found the staff friendly and helpful, especially the manager Marla and cashiers Tamara and Luke. Full disclosure: I havent used the pharmacy.
No one in store at Thanksgiving. Had a very sore tooth and asked pharm. man for a topical. He would not even come to the open counter, scowled and and INDIGNANTLY claimed there was nothing. I checked and found a simple ointment advertised specifically for what Id asked. I told him and he VERY RUDELY said, That is just a topical and wont help! Hello? He also, rather under his breath and passive/aggressively said, You need to go to a dentist. I did have an appointment with a dentist, but they were not open on THANKSGIVING. Anyway, Orajel worked perfectly, this RUDE pharmacist did not even try to help me in the first place and even tried to discourage me from using the product. Fire this guy or put him in a back room somewhere. The rest of the store employees have always been kind, particularly a lady in the USPS section.
Have been waiting for over a day on meds that were needed yesterday. They were horribly rude and condescending over the phone and uh...still nothing. Told them I was in a lot of pain and they hung up the phone. Really truly disappointed in their pharmacy department and the care they provide. Have no interest in going back, just driving to Medford from now on.
The only positive thing is; there is always stock up in the racks, may be because of the lack of proper service and extreme rudeness there are less people going to this store. There are particularly 2 men that are too rude. Respect your costumers and learn the policies if you are unaware, being mean doesnt make you any big but it hurts us a lot.
My only experiences have been friendly, helpful, and fast.
I wont go into details. Just choose a different pharmacy. This one is no good.
Just watched a manager raise his voice at an older lady in front of everyone. He was really rude. It was sad. What ever happened to customer service? Then my seven year old son asked the same guy some questions about a product and he treated my son like he was a pest.
Pretty standard example of the chain. No complaints.
I have never showed and my medication actually be done. Seriously call at 8 am and come 7 pm it hasnt even been started. Just save yourself the trouble and go to bimart or ashland drug.
My mother dropped off her prescriptions over 3 hours ago (1pm) and they said theyd be ready in 15 to 20 minutes, so we waited a half an hour and returned. The clerk said they hadnt even started filling it. Again, the wait would be another 15 minutes. Weve been waiting here and were just told that theyll have to redo the whole process because they didnt use the insurance information given to them. As Im writing this, their NOW telling her to contact her Dr (now that its 4:15 and theyve closed) My mother is in poor shape and Im feeling like going off on someone for incompetence and lack of customer care.
Pretty terrible. You call and ask if your scrips are ready, and they say yes. When you get there, they are not ready. This happens every single time. Long lines and delays. Im shopping elsewhere.
Health hazard in the pharmacy, as the credit card reader is always covered with dried aerosols from people coughing and sneezing on it, so that when you slide your card, touch the keypad, and use the stylus, you are picking these dried fluids on your hands.Additionally, it could be (and is likely) that the counter top is covered with these dried aerosols, so if your prescription bottles are placed on the counter top, they are also picking up the dried aerosols.Over the past two or three years (2013-2016), I have discussed this disgusting condition repeatedly with the pharmacy staff, and they dont seem to care to get a clue--a clue that the pharmacy is HEALTH CARE and that they are putting people those who are chronically ill at additional risk.More recently, they have placed a hand sanitizer at the pick-up window (Sep 2016). When I last pointed out the dried aerosols, the woman pointed to the hand sanitizer. What Rite-Aid should be doing, in addition to the hand sanitizer, is regularly (say, every 20 customers) wiping off the counter and credit card reader with a disposable sanitizing wipe. After making this suggestion for two to three years (explaining that, due to my health condition, if I get the flu, I am sick for weeks and weeks) I have finally stopped using Rite-Aid as my pharmacy.
I spoke with Kate. My sister and mother-inl-aw are from California and covered under Medical. Most pharmacis have a hard time billing out of state insurance. I even had one riteaid refuse to bill for the medications. Kate went out of her way to assist me with my issue. My experience is that this Riteaid is helpful with supreme customer service.
Got here at 12:00pm & needed 1 prescription filled for me & 2 for my son. Advised just passing through town & dont live around here. Was told they would be ready @ 4:00 pm. So for here at 3:40pm & its now 4:30pm & still waiting. If you can get your prescription filled somewhere else unless youre not in a hurry.
I regularly have to make three separate visits to get a prescription filled. If they dont have what you need in stock, they arent going to call and let you know.
Rudest pharmacy clerks Ive ever encountered. I had just been released from four days in the hospital with a life threatening infection, but I needed to start medications immediately so i drove myself to the store. I was so weak and still so sick I didnt think I could sit upright for long. The male tech didnt even look up when I asked if the order could be expedited. Nope. Sorry, were busy. Even if he couldnt speed up the order, if there were other people who were sicker, or who were waiting longer, just a humane acknowledgement would have gone a long way. He shouldnt be working in health care if hes that callous. The pharmacist, who also made me wait without acknowledgment, was just as brusque. If youre sick and vulnerable this is not the place to go.
Would absolutely give 0 stars if I could. This is the only store where Ive ever complained to corporate. Ive given 24+ hour notice on prescriptions but they were still never filled before I got in. It seems they literally wont fill your prescription until you are physically waiting in the store. They have given me someone elses prescription TWICE because they dont check the name. Rudest employees you will ever meet.Unfortunately, calling corporate didnt do squat. A day or so after making these complaints, someone from THIS STORE IN ASHLAND called me to yell at me about how I was lying about employee conduct. They also once tried to tell me that my prescription wouldnt be covered by my insurance BECAUSE THEY FILLED IT WITH THE WRONG DRUG. Yes, what they filled it with wasnt covered, but it wasnt even the right drug or dosage (which WAS covered).Avoid like the plague!!
They told me my insurance wouldnt cover my meds for an ear infection and didnt offer an alternative. My eardrum is ruptured and could get infected without medicine.
I have always been treated with friendly caring service here.
Worst encounter at a pharmacy EVER!! They were unhelpful, SLOW, and rude. They people behind the counter could not even do their job, they argued with me about what my doctor told me and said i just needed to buy over the counter medication .... which was not the case!I will be switching pharmacys ASAP
Have had problems with the pharmacy getting my order right, my girlfriend has too. Otherwise I would have given a 4/5
Extremely slow.
The checkout lady was so rude and nasty to me
The pharmacy only occasionally has my prescriptions ready on the agreed time. I phone them in, talk with a person, and then when I go to pick them up at the agreed time, I am told that they will be ready in 15 to 20 minutes.Im going to another pharmacy. Rite Aid and the pharmacy staff just seems overwhelmed...
To pricey.
