Never have I experienced such a relaxed, professional and thorough eye exam. Dr. Kimberly Hoyt was so pleasant to work with, patiently answering my questions. I found Artisan on the web when my local eye exam location couldnt book an appointment for an exam. Im so glad that I found Artisan where all the staff display beautiful customer service and knowledge. They also have quite a selection of frames. My family will be transferring over to Artisan.

It was my first ever eye exam, and the staff was so warm and friendly, explaining each step as we went through the process. The doctor shared the findings with clarity, showing me the images to enhance my understanding. She answered all questions that came up with patience, and full attention. I never felt rushed along. I would definitely recommend them.

Years ago I scratched my eye while doing some projects at work. They took such good care of me that when reading became challenging they were my first choice. The office was so clean, the staff was so friendly and the exam was absolutely painless. Great care was taken to make me feel comfortable, to help me understand the process, and to take the information gathered and give me an accurate diagnosis. As I age and my eyes face the normal challenges I’m glad that they will be there to keep me and my eyes healthy.

Everyone at Artisan Eyeworks was incredibly kind and easygoing. They were very helpful when picking out frames and had excellent insight and opinions for that most difficult of decisions. All around a great experience.

They helped me out when they didn’t have to help. Playing with my dog and ended up sitting on my readings glasses.I showed up the next morning and asked them to bend them back and reset a lens. They did it in 15 min and refused my efforts to pay for the services. The glasses are still good- thank you

Everybody who I had contact with was kind and helpful, as my neighbor said they would be. Explanations about every aspect of the visit were most helpful. They cleaned and straightened my old glasses and had a nice selection of new frames. I love the ones I chose. It is good to know that they are hypo-allergenic. The only possible negative was the cost, which startled me, as it was considerably more expensive than what I was used to in Japan (a very expensive place to live, in general). But a little of the cost will be charged to my insurance. I am overall very grateful for their work with me and their kind care. Thank you very much!!

Artisan Eyeworks literally saved my sight. Dr. Michael Hoyt took charge of my many different eye problems from glaucoma to macular degeneration to mild cataracts. He put me in touch with wonderful specialists for each issue.but best of all, and against all odds, he was able to create a prescription for me that restored the poor vision in my left eye. It’s life-changing. I went in for my usual annual exam, when dr. discovered that I had retinal tears in both eyes. I had no symptoms at all. He immediately arranged to have me see Dr. Dias in Medford, who, after examining me, said that the retina in my right eye had become detached. I had surgery that very night, and am now recovering from double eye surgery. Dr. Dias was able to reattach my retina in my right eye and repair the tears in my left eye. Thank you!

I drove all the way from Mount Shasta and had a fantastic experience. The eye exam was my most thorough and educational exam by far. And Ive had some good eye doctors over the years. Previous to that, I popped in on a Friday afternoon and Dr. Michael personally attended to me as I tried on at least 30 frames. I love that both docs leave time in their schedules so they can be available to help out front. The atmosphere was generous, fun and caring. I can enthusiastically recommend Artisan Eyeworks.

On a whim, I chose Artisan Eyeworks based on reviews. I needed an eye exam and new glasses. Owners, Drs. Hoyt, and the staff are incredibly helpful and friendly. Everyone offered opinions on the styles on my face. It was fun, I had picked out many pair of glasses, eliminated most, and settled on a few. I was allowed to pick my own choices from the cases, rather than having someone unlock them and remove them for me. The interior is stylish and warm, vaulted ceilings, large windows. Glasses are designer styles, and prices are commensurate; however, when you have to wear them, you had better love them. My trips to San Francisco will now be diverted to Artisan Eyeworks. I have the distinct feeling that everyone loves to work here.
