I worked with Penny for my bridal appointment. I wasn’t sure if 90 minutes would be enough time but I was able to pick out dresses I liked and Penny helped suggest a couple to try one- one of which I ended up buying. I am in love with my dress and had such a great experience. I truly feel like I found MY dress. I’m so excited to go down the isle wearing a dress I love.

I wish I could give Penny more than five stars! This is the experience that every woman wants and dreams of having when shopping for a wedding dress. She is a true gem!! Extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Im a bigger girl ( size 16 ) I was apprehensive about dress shopping. The amount of options that she had, for my size was a breath of fresh air!! The bridal world is not made for my size. She did not disappoint in any way. The whole shop was booked for me and me alone. There was no awkwardness walking out in front of strangers. There was no rush to grab what I could because there was another bride looking in my size. The only focus was on me. I found THE DRESS here. Oh and I cannot forget this...The prices, are unbeatable!! I didnt look at a single price tag while trying on dresses. I didnt want that to be a factor when choosing. So at the end I took a peek. I couldnt believe how affordable they were. I thought she was joking at first. New, never worn dresses!! Endless options and styles. Ladies, youre crazy if you dont book an appointment here first. Book it before you go to another shop that costs 100 times more with a sub par experience.

100% recommend going to Formality Resale to find your wedding dress! Penny was AMAZING from the second we walked in the door to the second we left! She was very easy to talk to, like we’ve known each other for years. She helped me talk through my likes and dislikes and I left with my dress!! Great selection of dresses, clean shop and a great atmosphere!

Penny is an absolute doll. She made my wedding dress shopping experience everything that I had hoped it would be. She truly does understand the body and knows what will work with your shape. I would highly recommend this shop based on the quality of dresses and the prices. The reason I give this a 4 star experience is because it would have been nice to know about the 9 dress try on limit from the start. Had my friends, family and myself known I was only allowed to try on a certain number of dresses, I would have been a bit more strategic when looking though the inventory. I understand this is likely a protocol that is necessary especially with COVID but a bit more transparency would be nice. Thanks for what you do and I love the opportunity to support a small business.

We were recommended here by another dress shop owner. It was hands down the best bridal experience Ive had out of the 6 places Ive gone to. I am plus size and they have plenty of options for every size, which is not the case at places like Davids bridal and a lot of boutiques.. plus the prices are amazing. I highly recommend coming here, you will at least be able to try on some amazing options to get an idea, and have amazing customer service.

I was so broken and worried I would never find my perfect dress, until multiple brides recommended Formality Resale. I made an appointment and it was BY FAR the best bridal experience I had! Terrible experience. The website says an appointment is recommended... well it should say required otherwise they act like its a problem that you came without an appointment. They wouldnt help me, I drove an hour and forty minutes for them to treat me like trash and be snotty with me after I mentioned that the website says an appointment is recommended.. not required. change your website then. And dont treat people like trash.

Ive gone to three different bridal shops and didnt find the right dress. I found one that was okay and I put a deposit on it but, I was having second thoughts. So I made an appointment with Penny at Formality Resale and FOUND MY DRESS. She was so accommodating and helped me out so much! I could try on ANY dress I wanted without any pressure. I found a beautiful dress with a vail for $350 you seriously cannot beat that. Im so glad I went there!
