Kathleen is absolutely amazing. We started out a bit rocky but everything ended up turning out exactly the way it needed to. She outdid herself and I hope her manager is recognized her customer service and hard work!

Christina was extremely helpful when finding us exactly what we needed and giving good suggestions on our remodel.

Compared to other suppliers, they consistently shine, although customer service can be scarce periodically. Usually good pricing and most often good selection. Easy ordering on line and the customer service people typically shine.

Got what I came for! Shocked to see all the inappropriate plants for that climate! Those cacti will freeze in the first frost!

They have a lot of stuff and most of the staff are helpful. But, I feel like when youre carrying a huge piece of plywood and other lumber maybe that would be the time to ask if you need help, rather then when you walk in the door being greeted by 3 people. But maybe thats just my outlook on it.

Theres a guy who works in the garden section. And he was amazing. He was juggling three customers and helped every one. Typically people will give up when they cant find what youre looking for. But not this guy. He found what we needed even though it was behind 2 other types of products. 👍👍👍

Typically find what Im looking for, or at least something close to it. Typically refundable prices.I wish the staff was more helpful as when I do need help finding something I have to stop the employees that are walking by me.

I enjoy shopping at our Atascadero Home Depot. It is well stocked with diverse home project needs. They have your typical home project products: paint, lumber etc. BUT! they also have a great supply of Cleaning Products and fun Seasonal Holiday Decor for inside and outside your home! Also, love their paint department. I brought in a nickle sized 10 year old paint chip from one of my walls, and to my delight the employee went out of his way to match the color perfectly! The employees are super knowledgeable and helpful, they all know where everything is located and always drop what they are doing to guide you to the product you are looking for. Garden shop has a great variety of healthy plants, and they have a great return policy on plants! I must say, I do miss the Hot-Dog stand outside, they were really good and seemed to go perfect with my purchases of paint and lumber!

The customer service department is awful! Full of rude employees! The only reason I will last resort shop here is because Cassandra, she is amazing. Very knowledgeable and caring!

I only go to Home Depot because it is a shorter trip. I find that they claim that they have military discounts but they dont list the categories that the discounts apply to. I have asked for a list of all the categories that honors the discounts with no luck. I will drive 20 miles to Lowes because they truly have a 10% military discounts on all items. One of the employees told me to go to the home depot website and look at all they do for veterans. This doesnt help the daily veteran with their projects.

The young women with dark hair at your customer care kiosk in Atascadero Ca openly spoke about hating Homedepot and the other, older blonde lady, said it was a family issue when I commented on her negative attitude. She was probably the same person who left a grumpy message on my phone about picking up $5000 plus of Pergo flooring.(4 pallets) The young men on the forklift were great guys and tried hard to please. Their forklift skills were great and I enjoyed there help. So, it was a 50/50 experience. 50% good and 50% bad. Im just glad my wife wasnt with me to ruin the trip home by commenting on the rudeness of your customer care staff. 🙄

Convenient, but always seem to be out of something needed. Poor to non-existent enforcement of customers that ignore mask rule s.

Hard to find helpful staff

I find the best deals here. Clean store. Seldom have I left empty handed.

Prices significantly different at cash register that posted. Cashier said sorry you need to go to Customer Service. Waited at customer service for over 10 minutes before any one cared to help me. They asked where I got them in the store, and then told me sorry they are not marked down. They never checked their signs and did not seem to care. Had them refund my whole purchase and left the store for the LAST time. I will drive to Lowes or go to Miners (they are not usually any more expensive anyhow. One star was being generous.

We are blessed to have a store that cares. Easy returns, wireless check stands, awesome customer service, all Im saying Lowes got nothing on Atascadero home depot! All Im saying.

Ordered a dishwasher and received it within 3 weeks but it took over 2 months to install it. Ritchey trucking from Oregon is a terrible company that sub contracts their installer in the area. We made 9 appointments with them 3 didnt show up and the others would dump out the hoses and tell us they were not able to install it. They ordered longer hoses and did not have any parts on their trucks to install plumbing.

Holy mother of God....apparently this Home Depot didn’t get the memo of the pandemic. The irony is they have a sound bite saying we all need to wear masks. Saw at least 3 employees INSIDE the store not wearing a mask. Counted 10 people not wearing masks in the store and breezing by the front door staff. When I asked another employee about it he said” we don’t confront customers who don’t wear masks or refuse service”. Well geez, let’s not hurt anyone’s feelings about possible spreading a deadly disease.

Wondering the isles and daydreaming about working on things!

Buying the products and getting them ordered took forever. Initial install was fine but done poorly. I explained to the installers I wanted my baseboards to rest on top of my floating hardwood but was not done and now I have to call a third contractor to come out and fix their mistakes. Left large spaces between the walls and floor even though there is plenty of space under my baseboards. Also baseboards were not remkves or lowered down to correct height.

Whenever I need tools or appliances rugs Nuts and Bolts wood you can always find someone that helps you and the people I have spoke to if they didnt know they asked somebody who did

With all of the changes with the registers, which I dont like, separate story !There is one cashier a gentleman thats work there for the Last 5 Years, super super nice guy hes definitely an asset to Home Depot and for the life of me I cant think of his name his name might be Marc but I could be wrong I do know that hes worked there for 5 years! Customer service/ friendliness is a lost art form.

The employees try hard to help and are friendly. But the store is understaffed and underpayed, so expect long lines and waits. They also dont even take phone payments like Google & Apple pay in 2021. The HD owner also contributed millions to Trumps big lie. SMH

It was ok. At best things could be improved at worst it just wasnt worth eating. 2 of the people with me didnt want to finish their food. I really liked half my meal and the other half was ok. So again. Not bad. Not good. Just eh.Also takes covid precautions and restrictions not seriously at all.

Mark in GARDEN is the BEST employee ever! So helpful, so kind, so patient, so knowledgeable. He goes the extra mile! I give Mark a five star rating. Employee of the decade for sure.

I was extremely disappointed in the 3rd party delivery service, Ritchie Trucking Company, who delivered a housewarming gift to my son and daughter-in-law.They did not completely install the appliances, and they lied to my son about “installation not included on the paperwork”. Home Depot refunded me for installation, but it did not cover the trouble of having someone else do it.I’ll give Lowe’s my business for a while.

I needed help finding a product from the home depot app. The 3 associates I asked sent me to the same aisle 3 times and I looked up an down it even the end caps and the product was not in that aisle. Yes, the home depot app said that the product was in stock in that location.

It was actually pretty quiet - not a lot of shoppers. However the staff seemed even slimmer.They had what I wanted and was in and out in 10 minutes.

I LIKE HOME DEPOT BUT, RECENTLY YOURE LACKING ON CUSTOMER HELP. YOU REALLY NEED MORE EMPLOYEES ON THE FLOOR READY & KNOWLEDGABLE TO HELP THE CUSTOMERS. THE LAST 2X I WAS THERE, I WAITED & WAITED FOR A GOOD 7-8 MINS & FINALLY APPOACHED 2 EMPLOYEES THAT WERE CHATTING IT UP WHILE WATCHING ME STAND THERE LOOKING AT THEM (I WAS OBVIOUSLY NEEDING HELP). I USUALLY HAVE TO CALL THE STORE (FROM INSIDE THE STORE) & REQUEST SOMEONE TO BE SENT TO THE DEPT IM IN. (WHICH IS FINE, BUT, SHOULDNT HAVE TO BE) IT WAS NOT LIKE THAT UNTIL THE LAST 2-3 YRS. (IM REFERRING TO THE ATASCADERO STORE) I ALSO MISS THE IN STORE PROJECTS FOR ADULTS & KIDS. (IM SURE THATS DUE TO THE COVID THING). AFTER I GOT THE GIRLS TO HELP ME, I GOT HOME ONLY TO FIND OUT THEY MADE THE WRONG TYPE OF PAINT FOR ME. I WAS NOT HAPPY W/THIS AT ALL.

Quite simply - there is no customer service at Home Depot any longer.They freely tell you what you can do but offer no assistance to make it happen.Customer service is becoming a thing of the past.

Large, well stocked store, especially for a smaller town and semi-rural area. Staff has always been helpful, especially returns being painless. Garden center lures me in multiple times a week, even just to browse when I dont necessarily need anything.

I reconstructed. My bathroom a bit by putting some linoleum up on my bathroom wall. I started out with gorilla glue to glue the linoleum9the. But would you believe it really waasnt as strong as this spray onAdhesive b the strongest that they have I just sprayyed1qt the back of that linoleum squares with that and held it up on my wall for like 30 I wen back because I couldnt cut them quite right for my wall so the guy at the Home Depot went up and beyond what he really had to actually do for myfññopr me I measured it out and he cut it just like I wanted it and then I brought ithome it was the wrong measurement 1 much better than lowes. I went to lowes and let me tell you i couldnt find qnyone to help me and if you do find someone theyll be very rude to you because theyre already helping someone. Now if you ask me hands down its Home Depot I dont think Ill ever go to Lowes again.i cant remember

I always easily find an employee to help me locate what I need. They are helpful but not always knowledgeable about the type of project I am doing.

I’m usually capable of finding stuff on my own. The store is always in stock with what I need and that’s just what I need. Thank you.

Always a great Experience

I went to the store to grab a kitchen faucet, when I tried to check out, the price was not right. Later on, the cashier and me figured out that they put a wrong tag on the faucet. The cashiers were very nice to help me to solve the problem, but the manager was very rude and unprofessional. I waited there for 15-20 mins before manager showed up, and he told me they cant do anything. If you couldnt do anything, what is point of having me there for 20 mins and telling me it is what it is! Very bad experience! Your management and fault hurt your customer twice!This is my last trip to HD in Atascadero. I also decided sell all my home depot stocks. I really dont like this kind of management and company. I will take my business to somewhere else.

Home Depot has most of what you need, with below average customer service, a horrible search engine and Online issues.Online Orders: Unless you know the exact name and brand you can never find what you need.In Store Service: You’re more likely to be approached by a solar rep than to get good customer service.In Stock Items: The one thing you would think they would have stock is their plastic container brand they advertise so heavily. But, they don’t..Online Order, In Store Pick Up: All 4 times my order has either been incomplete, not ready or unavailable.Unfortunately, they put the local orchard out business, they carry things the lumber yard doesn’t have and their closet than Lowe’s. Do I use them 20% of the time.The reason for this review is because of search engine issues making purchases difficult, followed website issues not allowing me to checkout. The only reason Home Depot exists is because it’s a major player that dominated industry. The website, customer service and in store experience are all lacking.

This is, of course, a large warehouse style hardware chain with a large variety of items on display or online. The staff, if you can find someone is always friendly and helpful... But finding help is sometimes difficult. More concerning, in my last visit, I was looking for very common outdoor irrigation bits and pieces .. but they were either out of stock or not carried at all. Consequently, I will have to shop their competitor warehouse store tomorrow, where I know the items Im looking for are available. Sorry I couldnt give a higher rating from this visit.

I went to Home Depot today, Service was good as usual. My concern is 90% of employees there didn’t wear a mask and 50% of customers also were not wearing masks during the pandemic here. It’s really bothers me and I do not feel safe shopping there, because people was hacking, coughing and sneezing everywhere.

I like this Home Depot a lot. The staff is knowledgeable and very friendly. Its got a nice parking lot with some other places around that make the experience a little better. The garden section is right next to the parking lot so you can get out kind of quick. This is the Home Depot I like to go to. They also have real good plant deals

Is there even one person that can answer a question or get off their hind end to help? Ask where something is located and told “outside”! Really? Walk with the customer, ask some questions about what they are going to be working on! Get them the help they need if you don’t know the answer! Or better yet, employee sees you struggling with something, and just tells you it’s on the next isle over and keeps walking!!!Done with Atascadero!!!

Staff dont know policies. No such thing as customer service. Wont return phone calls. Never can find anyone to assist you and everyone just passes the buck to someone else. Should I go on?

Ok prices. Good staff. They have a fast self check out as well. Plants also fall under their return policy. I always end up coming back. They do have a great selection on landscape lights that you cant find at online retailers.

Successful Home Depot run today... Found everything I needed and was out in 20 minutes. Best time to go seems to be as early in the day as possible.

I was not able to find the items that I went to purchase. I was misdirected by one employee eventually found another employee who directed me to the correct dial but they had zero selection. I find that although they had plenty of staff only a few of them asked if you need help the others just visit with each other or just ignore you.

It is a Home depot nothing exceptional about it.

Home Depot is a great store. Opens early enough to get an early start on the day. To lumber to patio furniture, and gardening supplies you can find it at The Home Depot. Most of the staff is knowledgeable. You can rent tools by the hour or even by the day. Some Home Depot even offer truck rentals. At Christmas time you can even purchase a fresh tree.

As usual, I found what I needed for my plumbing repair. Why are they raising the prices on almost everything?!

I ordered an item on line for curbside pickup at the Atacadeo store. When it wa ready, I drove to the designated parking area and put on my mask. Before I knew it, a female store employee stuck her face in my window unmasked and asked for my my order number. I said Hey where is your mask? She replied Thats optional. Totally inconsiderate of Home Depot customers.

Ended up leaving in tears today out of frustration. I walked around for fifteen minutes with several employees seeing me and not asking once if they could help. Finally found someone who didnt immediately walk away from me but then she laughed at me when I told her all 4 things I needed. She was very condescending telling me I needed to find people from the correct departments then she walked away from me. The most helpful employee there was a visually impaired gentleman at the customer service desk who took the time to actually listen and call for someone to help after the girl laughed at me. Unfortunately the person called was of no help at all. Overall people were just rude and evasive. I went to the Lowes in Paso Robles and it was a night and day difference. They were so friendly, eager to help, and I ended up getting everything I needed plus great advice for my bathroom projects. Home Depot, youve officially lost a customer to Lowes. Maybe hire people who actually want to work for you.

Great store, and the sales people there are great. When it is super busy it can be a little bit hard to get help but that is to be expected. Unlike the other home depots in the area this one is well stocked

I had placed an online order and the item was not what I needed. I could not find the packing slip/receipt. I felt that I was going to be stuck with this item and was prepared to have to eat the cost. I called my local store and was told that as long as I had the order number from my e-mail, I didnt even have to print it that I could bring it back. So, I wrote my order number down, went to my local store and in less than five minutes I had a full refund. I will definitely not hesitate to make another online purchase. And the staff in my local store being Atascadero, Ca were very courteous.

Pretty regular Home Depot. Friendly staff, good selection of outdoor plants. Great deals on most items. Good central location as well, not far from most of town. Just off freeway.
