The manager at front counter needs training in customer service. His name is George, he refused to give me his last name. Being polite and courteous isn’t difficult. It just takes effort. I believe this is a reflection of only having 2 people working at the store. Big 5 corporate needs to step in and help him and his associate.

The young man on the phone and at the register was a wealth of information and all was correct. He was an excellent salesperson. He really knew his work environment and all that was in it. He was polite and professional. The young lady that actually helped me with my shoes was also very polite and professional. I purchased a great pair of hiking boots thanks to these two. Please keep up the good work.

The woman behind the counter had a unique name, and a beautiful spirit about her. The service I received here from the employees was top-notch, sadly I couldnt find the mens bodybuilding unitard I was looking for. Nonetheless, I had a wonderful time perusing their wares

Its got alot of good deals and different sporting merchandise, but could use a wider spread of customer service reps available.

Winter clothing, like thermal underwear is not out on the floor yet. Hopefully it will arrive soon.

The store at the Outlet Mall is very well setup. All products,weather on sale or not, are marked clearly with high visibility tags.The staff are friendly and knowledgeable about the products being offered at this store. My only problem with the staff was that some are to eager for me. I will ask for help if I have questions about their products, otherwise I want to check out all options until Im ready to grab up the items I came in for. EXCELLENT SERVICE OTHERWISE. I highly recommend this as a shopping destination for the awesome lineup of merchandise to be found at any BIG 5 store.🤩🧐🤓🤠😇👍👍👍🤙☝️🖖👋👋

Literally the best spot in Atascadero to buy ammo or guns, the other gunstores in the area buy ammo from here and resells it to us regular people at a huge mark-up. Ive never had a Big 5 employee lie to my face about being a licensed gunsmith or a firearms instructor and I dont think they have had any negligent discharges or injuries because of one there, unlike another place. Its a typical Big 5 and the only place in town I trust.

I came on to puchace shoes. I was told to leave because my face was not covered. The employee was directly rude to me in front of customers. How embarrassing to be treated like this when I came in to spend money. I will be contacting and complaining to the owner and to corporate. I will no longer spend my money in this store. Their customer service is weak at best but this was worse. Cheap rude labor playing media politics.

Had a very attentive helpful person assist me with getting the right athletic shoes. I appreciated the extra service. And merchandise is priced right!

I called the store asking to see if they carried womens high tops. I even asked him to make sure they had my size. Told him I would be driving 45 minutes to gey there. He said they have a couple of choices. I drove my 45 minutes but no womens high tops. Not very good customer service if you ask me.

Kimball at the store was one of the most pleasant cashiers I have had waited on me. Very pleasant experience. He deserves big KUDOS
