I travel up and down the 101 Hwy on my Harley and Im always looking for a great local / Mom & Pop places to eat,this stop 100% does not disappoint!!!If You passed this place up,Youve missed the BEST Tri-Tip sandwiches and Fried chicken in Town, its that good!

They have one of the best selection of not only liquor but soda snacks and sandwiches that are made fresh right there. I love their wraps myself. The people who work there have always been friendly and professional. I will go back there!

Great little store with friendly staff. Always well clean and bright. Terrific snacks and lunch items. Chicken, sandwiches, burritos, and dont forget the mojo potatoes. They also sell gas and liquor. The prices are reasonable and some items are even cheaper than in other stores around the area.

The fast food you get here is decently priced. The gas in my opinion is cheaper than other gas stations in A town. The staff could use a little smile when catering customers. Sometimes even though they arent actually rude, they might be projecting themselves the wrong way.

Went in because family member said there barbecue tri tip sandwich was to die for very good so i thought i would give it a try !! Nope bread was soggy meat was old and potato wedges i ordered were old and hard to eat !!!

As a local business thats been here for so long they will always be one of my favorites. Fresh bbq deli foods. The 6 buck cup is my go to. Friendliest staff ever.

This little liquor store is like the little big man. It might be small but it packs a huge punch. The staff works hard and fast. They BBQ tri-tip everyday they got good breakfast food items and sandwiches and Deli stuff. They also have cool liquor deals where they fill up a shopping cart full of liquor that is 50% off. Theres also a gas station on the side with an easy access to the freeway.

The worst shop in town. Like their way to expensive, I rather go to Paloma creek market which is down the road. Way nicer and way cheaper.

This store is a little cramped and its always hot inside but thats because all the delicious fried goodies they have. Chicken, potatoes wedges; if its fried they have it all they time and the cost is low. They have your ordinary liquor store inventory. They offer gas for you vehicles as well. The only reason it does not get 5 stars is because the customer service isnt that great

What happened to customer service. Coming here for the last ten years. We own a business nearby and I always made it a point to stop here. This morning I was greeted by condescending male cashier. We used to buy breakfast and lunches for our employees. Not any more!

Very fast place if you just need to grab a snack and a drink. They have milk, butter, etc for quick household needs. And their fried chicken and potatoes wedges are the bomb! Great price on them too. Better and cheaper than KFC.

No social distancing, no Plexiglass, no masks for employees and no sanitizer or disinfectant. Ask the boss, was the reply when asked on protecting public.

I feel that some of the employees are very nice. Some are not. Becky is nice. The man that owns it (I think)is, the older blondish gray hair is not friendly at all. He doesnt even look at you when youre making the transaction. Whenever he handles my transaction I leave feeling like maybe I should change liqour stores? But Becky is so nice so I dont want to change liqour stores.

Food used to be great but the potatoe salad was hard and tasteless and the macaroni salad consisted of tons if milk and a bit of mayo no seasonings wet and the noodles were way aldente, (too hard!)....chicken was dry and little meat...sorry guys, used to be awesome!

This place is more than just liquor store and gas. They have salads, sandwiches, Fried Chicken, Mojo potatoes, and several other things that are great to eat.

Overpriced tobacco products I get chew for 6 bucks around the corner and they charge almost 9 deli is good but some women on staff are rude disrespectful and need to be fired like dont get it twisted u work at a liquor store u can drop the snobby attitude u dont like ur job then quit classic atown garbage

I went there to get gas not realizing they dont take discover... so I pay with my visa... than all of a sudden there is a hold on my discover for 75 dollars... they had one helpful employee with it... the only advise I get from them is its not there problem deal with the company that owns machine....How can u tell customers to do calls them self and not help than the numbers u call are a bunch of recording to leave messages.... 75 dollars on hold for 5 days kiND of pathetic u have to play phone tag cause they tell u its not there responseability to help u get charges cleared.... wont go there again

When you have that hankerin for some Fried Chicken and Mojos Chalk is on the top 10 list. We are very lucky in the North county having quite a few of these types of places. Gas stations with good gas prices and lots of good eats. Chalk is so convenient if you are heading across the street to play golf and need a snack or heading out for a nice ride out 58. Fresh made to order deli sandwiches or just in a hurry and need a grab and go they have you covered. But their Fried chicken and mojos are so flavorful and juice you cant go wrong.

Its Chalk Mountain Liquor home of the off the hook great deli and so much variety of goodness . fresh hot or cold .... santa maria tri tip sandwitches daily fresh and off the grill ...I even get my gas there and yes they have 88 to 92 octain .everything u can imagine is sold here ..fountain drinks and every beverage non alchoholic and every alchohol possible .this place is a mini everything you need. . Every one of the crew that works and cooks there are friendly and its probley the best liquor store and deli in Atascadero period. Its near a golf course ..27hole .disc golf course ..the 101 freeway ...2 miles from most of us locals who know how great this place is .. 23 miles away from pismo and 27 miles from Cambria . 👍👌🙊🙉🙈

Hi I come from Paso Robles and Im just letting everybody know that after a hard day at work I decided to go to chalk Mountain Liquor Store have my lunch and well I was going there I had potato wedges and a burrito will that was the most disgusting crusty old not good burn to the crisp it was not good it was one of the Horribles lunches I had in my life I always go there and its never been like this I dont know whats going on whos cooking but its bad just being honest and the rude they throw fingers at you like it get out of the store like theyre have no respect no morals at all

20 years ago Chalk Mtn. was the go to spot for gas and microbrews. The quality beers are gone now, and the staff is apparently so inept, or so incapable of making judgement calls that management has a policy of checking IDs for every alcohol purchase regardless of the customers age. Tweakers abound here, avoid at all cost.

Open till midnight and opens at 4:30 am. Great for late shopping of necessaties, some what pricey and location is close to South end of town, also has gas.

Place is awesome for a quick bite to eat or grab a drink

Workers are super rude ! Worse customer service in any gas station iv been to . Chunky white guy with beard . Wouldn’t give me his name to report him to corporate for hanging up on me 2 times on the phone and he wouldn’t let me speak to the manager . He was rude and wouldn’t take care of my issue . They lost my service and a couple other people as well . I will be calling owner tomorrow .
