You definitely save a lot here however it is definitely helpful for people who dont have a lot of money.

I wont be back! Really Rude cashier! I realize we need to be safe but she was out if control yelling at me and an older couple behind me. We werent being unsafe!!! There are lots if other choices where the employees are at least respectful!!!

Nice large, very clean store. Good selection at great prices. Dont be fooled the generic brands are every bit as good, and often better. Than the expensive name brands. Staff is very friendly.

This is our go to place for meats. Theyre always fresh and have great prices! I also love that they are taking all the safety precautions serious with the pandemic. Produce is usually in really good shape. Just wish there was a bit more variety on brands.

Smaller store means its usually less-crowded than other places if you just need a few basic groceries. Plus, Ive found this place often has good deals on fresh meat.

Good price on stuff but cashier was kind of rude when she to me you make sure you bring your kart back in when she should of said can you please bring your kart back in....long story short she had to go get the kart........

Got what I needed but it didnt last that long

With the recent store makeover, this Save A Lot looks much nicer, inside & out. The shelves are a lot more open and it doesnt have the cluttered feel as before. The meat dept looked great as usual, well-stocked, fresh, quality cuts and without the meat room smell as you pass through. Prices are generally lower than area supermarkets, although Aldis usually beats SAL by a small percent. Friendly personnel.

Went in last night to get a few things after work and the manager was screaming at the employee because she was cleaning and was overall rude. I belive her name was Jennie? I could be wrong but she was very rude

Clean and affordable. I had to get change to pay for everything and an angel in line behind me offered to add anything I needed on to the check she was writing. God Bless her for offering. I ended up with barely enough change to pay for it myself but I will remember to pay her kindness forward when I can

Very much liked the store after they cleaned it up and fixed website. However the weekly sale ad no longer works for any SE Ohio locations including Athens. Weekly ads drives my shopping so I no longer shop Savalot. That is t bad as I spent about half my food budget there.Management, please fix this issue!

Save a lot in Athens is a good store, very clean and the staff are friendly. The best thing I like about Save a lot is their meats. Better cuts and better deals than what Kroger has.

I think it is great for the people in Athens Ohio keeping the carts cleaned for everyone that comes to support save a lot

The store has a funny/stale smell, and some repairs and updates could definitely be used. Some items are definitely cheaper than the big stores, but others are not. Not my first choice for grocery shopping, but I did find what I was looking for

They have so many choices at low prices that I can avoid Walmart. Sav-a-Lot helps me keep my grocery shopping focused on just what I truly need at great prices.

People dont want to go to save a lot because employees are yelling at customers children and rudly being judgemental

Ive been in the area for 23 years, and I can honestly say in this 23 years inside and out this place has not updated a bit. Same old product variety, same look of store inside and out, mostly the same policies, even the layout is exactly the same! Its disappointing of the low selection in such a big place.
