Dylan is a kind soul with incredible skills and knowledge about guitars. I have worked with many luthiers over the years and never been as pleased as I am with Dylan. They take old ladder braced guitars and remove original braces and replace the braces with their proprietary X bracing. Then they reset the neck, install new frets and tuners What Scott Baxendale and crew do with these conversions is nothing short of amazing.I have a Harmony H1260 Baxendale conversion that is the best sounding and playing acoustic I have ever put my hands on.This is a word class guitar repair/restoration shop. Great experience. Dylan did a fantastic job restoring my 76 strat. It took extensive work and looks beautiful. Every time I play it I lose track of time and cant put it down.2/25/2021 I got my mid 90s Strat Plus back from Baxendale Guitar today. Dylan did another amazing job on a setup! Great place to take your guitars. Dylan has been repairing and doing setups on all of my stuff for a several months now, and all of the work done has been really good. My old guitars have never played better.

Dylan was so great helping me work out what needed to be done to my 80s Guild F412. It sounded amazing but wasn’t playing so well. After a few minutes his plan was to remove and reglue the bridge, remove and reset the neck and then a full refret, new nut and bridge as well as a full set up.I will admit was more than a little nervous because this is a pretty massive undertaking but the whole time we talked Dylan assured me he could do what needed to be done.I am so pleased to say that it is everything he said it would be and more!! It plays better than any new 12 string I know of, sounds better than when I dropped it off and the quality and attention to detail in Dylan’s repair work is stunning.Thanks again

I had a Harmony Bobkat that was in need of a piece of binding, a full setup and fretwork, as well as just some minor things, and Dylan Keel did an amazing job. His work is done with care, and it was great to connect over a love for these guitars. I now take any guitar need I have to Baxendale Guitar Repair including a neck reset and refret, setups and fretwork, and modifications like adding a vibrato. They’re the best!

Took my guitar here for repairs and a setup. The repairs came out ok, but the setup had some fret buzz. I respectfully requested they fix it, and came back later to find their solution was putting a bunch of relief in the neck (they didnt fix it at all). Pleasant enough people, but the work was expensive and disappointing.
