The incredibly unpleasant manager should make a better effort not to scream at customers. She may also want to consider wearing something other than a sweatshirt with a casino logo if she wants people to know she works for the store.

Kathy, the store manager at the Athol, Ma location, should find another career because she has the worst customer service skills one could ever imagine. Kathy is so mean to the employees who work there and she doesn’t treat the customers any better!!!!! I will NEVER go to that store location again as long as she continues to “work” there. I was so looking forward to shopping for the fall decor and at checkout, she absolutely ruined it for me. I watch a lot of dollar tree you tubers who share their hauls and who speak highly of the staff. Wish I could say the same. I hope someone at corporate reads these reviews. She does not deserve the position of manager. No way - no how!!!!!!

Rude and condescending manager. Really needs to work on communication skills and attitude. Will never go back.

Problem is, there is no place to sit down and rest for a moment. Being elderly and handicapped, sometimes I need to sit down for 1 min. or so. It would be nice for a lot of people in pain like me. I would shop there more often if there was a brief resting place.

Nicely stocked shelves, had everything I was looking for and even some items I couldnt find at my local Dollar Tree.

The store its self has decent items but the manager Kathy has no business in retail. I have been there a number of times to buy in bulk for operation Christmas Child and she is beyond rude to the customers and to her employees. I hate to go there and after today Im done she is just a terrible person to deal with. It doesnt surprise me that it is a revolving door with employees leaving there. If I could give her a zero I would.

Good store good help

Im giving the store one star because they only had one cashier despite 15 people in line. An employee came up to help but only to get a customer balloons. I felt bad for the single cashier as some customers were rude. I put my cart down and walked out. Im not waiting 45 minutes or longer to buy a few greeting cards and snacks.

The manager is super rude for no reason I think kathy was her name will not be returning until shes gone

Cathy, the manager of the Dollar Tree in Athol, is a very accommodating and caring person who made sure that her patrons understood the importance of supporting the military by donating toys to be distributed throughout the state to military families. I have been proud to have worked with her by picking up the 1,000’s of donated toys. Thank you, Cathy and patrons of the Dollar Tree.

Store is good itself but I don’t go because the manager, is so abrasive and aggressive it’s embarrassing 😬

I will never shop here again. Store manager kathy is very rude and disrespectful to her employees, I went to go shopping with my nieces and overheard her yelling at an employee in the back room yelling and swearing. When the poor girl walked out her eyes were all watery. It’s disgusting how she treats her employees and customers!! Making comments about customers outfits “ I would smack my daughter if she tried leaving the house in that” and talking about people’s personal hygiene extremely loud so everyone can hear is unnecessary. I use to love the dollar tree until I came here!!

They had the farm house calendar I have been looking for quite a while & lot of the Halloween dress up clothes.

Wont be shopping here anymore. Manager rolled her eyes because my daughter moved something... maybe if it wasnt so crammed with all of the stocking stuff, she wouldnt have to move stuff.
