My nose piercing appointment went really well! They were very COVID conscious and super timely, which I really appreciate. I would definitely recommend to other people in the area and will definitely go back if I decide to get more piercings in the future!

I had such a great piercing experience here. I have quite a few already and I think this was by far the best. Everything was super organized, clearly clean, and I felt well taken care of. Im about one week out and they are healing better than any other piecing Ive had!The other reviews crack me up and were very helpful in understanding the shop practices and rules! But theyre all on the website, too. Its well-organized and easy to access.Only thing that was a tad awkward in the process was picking jewelry. I wish they had been clearer about pricing. I picked one and it was v expensive (and high quality!) and I felt awkward asking to be directed to the cheaper stuff.(I had originally posted this review under my work account. Deleted and updated to my personal account!)

Julie was extremely patient, professional, and fun to work with while I got my first nose piercing. Given that I have never had a piercing before, she was understanding and informative with all the questions I had. Highly recommended!

Went in for my septum piercing and Christina was informative, punctual, professional, and communicated with me the entire time. Everything is laid out on the site with all the details, instructions, and care. I appreciated the email and text reminders. The shop was clean and welcoming. I loved the care booklet they provided with date, piercing, healing time, and instructions. Would highly recommend.

Sadly, I had a poor experience today with Julie. I made an appointment to purchase jewelry & was rushed / treated unprofessionally. I was unaware that I should have booked extra time for measuring my piercing to obtain the proper size. This would have been helpful to have been stated very clearly online. It was not. I understand it is COVID, but Julie seemed annoyed with my questions and stated that I needed to hurry up and buy jewelry or leave as my 15 mins was almost up. It makes no sense to not only have no measurements of my piercing, but also not be able to make a return if I am unsatisfied with the jewelry or it becomes damaged.Advice-If a jewelry appointment means grab your purse and know what you want before you walk in the door, please clearly state that online and don’t rush your customers to buy your products. It’s quite off putting and unprofessional.I am disappointed as my first experience with PE (before COVID) involved a very patient man who unfortunately was not present for my appointment today.

My experience at Piercing Experience was excellent. There is free parking (as available) behind the building. You text the number they send you in the confirmation email when you arrive, and then they text you when its time to come in. The experience is one-on-one. Everything was clean and professional, and I felt very taken care of. Christina answers all your questions, and my favorite part was that an aftercare manual was provided to look over while the jewelry was being sanitized. Even better? There is a complimentary check up appointment 6-8 weeks after your piercing appointment to make sure everything is healing properly. I will return here for any additional piercings.

This place is fabulous! Dont go anywhere else. In a great neighborhood and much better than the local mall shops for ear piercing. Christina is professional, has great skills and experience; and adheres to stringent standards with regard to sterilization and cleanliness. She did a great job re-piercing my ears. Cant wait to wear my earrings again!

Decided to drive down from Stone Mountain to come check out this piercing place that Ive heard so much about, tried calling ahead and there was no answer.. only for me to get there and for them to say that they only do things by appointment only and then proceed to close the door... not even saying the next time they would be available or try to set up something with me... it was truly a horrible experience and even if their jewelry is cool I would not recommend this to anyone dont waste your time

I had a wonderful experience at Piercing Experience. They are very mindful of the cleanliness that needs to be followed. The entire place is clean and the piercer was a guest piercer (Julie) from Savannah. I was given a lot of options to choose from and the process was explained to me. The piercing is slightly uncomfortable because my nose is of a fully grown adult and it might get tricky but Julie was very mindful. She asked me about any allergies, questions that I might have. I had a great experience, overall.

New to the neighborhood...hopeful-go local right? Fine initial experience. BUT sadly back post lost in my lobe after 3 weeks. (Ugh) Advice to go to a doctor for surgery. Ok. I wasnt going to post anything negative until I went BACK IN to ask a question about whether I could keep the metal in my ear and get a piercing above it (hey, fat lobes, I dont want Lobe Surgery!). Eye rolling from Christina (owner) who told me she had no time for me. I cant fix it today! me -Ok, just a quick question. Your time is up and I have another client. The other male staff answered my one question cordially. But Christina wanted to add more time onto my 30 second question with her banishing agenda and her rudeness (ugly tone of voice, no empathy). Ok. Im the one who is out $100 with nothing to show for it but a metal scrap lodged in my ear..Im sure its her on the companys answering machine message. Just listen...makes sense.

Made an appointment to change out my nose jewelry. First impression of coming through the door was pretty unwelcoming, but I know with COVID times we are all a little uneasy in social interactions. So I shook that off.I meet Christina, the main piercer and she’s very curt and I was feeling like I was inconveniencing her by showing up for my appointment. She takes a look at my piercing and says it’s too high for a hoop. It may even need more time to heal (I was 4 months into the healing process with zero issues). Ok, that’s no problem. It’s my first and only piercing and since it’s a whole new world for me, I’m going to listen to the expert.Her recommendation is to give either leave it as is (I got the piercing in order to have a hoop so that wasn’t the option for me) or to have it removed and let it heal before getting it pierced again in a better location. She even offers to have me use half of the deposit for that appointment for a time that I can reschedule it to in order to remove it as long as I reschedule by the end of the week. Fair. Sure.Now here’s where the problem lies for me and why I would not recommend them. It comes down to customer service. There seem to be plenty of other satisfied customers and maybe those people have had multiple piercings and know that experience better. But when someone walks in who is clearly new to this lifestyle, and you treat them borderline rudely, then offer little to no hospitality after delivering the bad news that the four months of healing and taking care of a new piercing has been basically a waste I have a problem. Furthermore, I was charged the full deposit for the quick rejection I received when I didn’t reschedule. I have no problem with paying a deposit for someone’s time, especially if it’s on me to have wasted it. But since I’m paying for their time, I think it behooves someone to treat a potential present and future customer with more respect and maybe empathize with their situation. Taking 5 minutes of the 15-20 or more I reserved and paid for to actually have a conversation about the upcoming process shouldn’t be as inconvenient as it was made to feel like.In conclusion, maybe they do great work. I’ll never know. I took my piercing out myself not long after that appointment and it’s healed up just fine with cleaning it and caring for it. If and when I decide to get it redone, I’ll be going elsewhere. I definitely will not recommend this shop for anyone newer to piercings. I personally value customer service, and as an overall experience, I was never helped to feel comfortable nor understood.

Went today for a forward helix. While I had done my research the staff was very helpful with placement and jewelry. Great cleanliness and covid protocols! Also, actual description of the procedure and care was informative and detailed. Overall a fantastic experience!

Never in my life have I seen such unprofessionalism. After meeting the woman who would pierce my ears, I asked her about the autoclave and their sanitation procedures... for piece of mind. She became very defensive and said that its none of her business. Of course its my business if that same equipment is being use to pierce my ears. Considering whats going on with the COVID, I was shocked that someone could disregard a persons caution for unsanitary procedures & conditions.

My daughter (teenager) has had 2 ear piercings here in the last year and I couldnt be more satisfied with the Piercing Experience. Especially now during these pandemic times, I was impressed with how clean, organized and rigorous they are. Super professional, clean, and knowledgeable. I made an appointment online for two anchors on my chest. Christina suggested I get a surface bar rather than anchors, informing me it would be more stable. She explained why it would be better for what I wanted and I felt comfortable going with her decision because they obviously really know their stuff here! Getting pierced by Christina was enjoyable. She was friendly and took the time to make sure my piercing was lined up the way I wanted and let me know exactly what was to be expected and what she was doing along the way. Very clean and sanitary facility. I am pleased with my piercing and my experience. My only complaint is my follow up appointment. I traveled all the way from SC to be greeted at the entrance by Christina and asked to expose myself so my navel could be viewed. I felt devalued at that point. Two minutes after traveling in the pouring rain and not even a decent consult. I will most likely not return to this facility and stay closer to home. I felt like I wasted my time and money.

Piercing Experience has been my go to spot for piercing needs in Atlanta for years. Great selection of jewelry. The staff is very knowledgeable about sizing and fit. I have mostly gone in for ring changes but recently had a cartilage piercing and every time Christina has been wonderful - shes very friendly and professional and I always felt in good hands. They are following strict protocols for COVID and I felt safe. Even before COVID I always thought the business was very clean and they are focused on sanitation and sterilization for piercings.

Highly recommend this place! They have adapted very well to the pandemic requirements. I honestly felt safer there than any place I have been thus far. Just as an FYI, my friend and I had back to back appts & thought we might could go in at the same time, but we called before and turns out they are only allowed one person in at a time per guidance. I really respect that they didn’t bend the rules! They let me take my time picking my jewelry and then I sat in one of 2 chairs while it sanitized (maybe 10 minutes or so). I was given a thorough run down of what to expect and aftercare. But I do have a couple of piercings already so it was more tips to help it heal quicker that you can forget! It’s been maybe a week and these are bothering me so much less than any other piercing I have. The only thing that was a little surprising was the jewelry cost, but hey I know you gotta pay for quality & I do believe that is what you get here so it’s worth it! Thanks & I will be back!

Wow, I didn’t even go in the place and I know it’s not the type of environment I want to be in. I understand that because of covid restrictions they are appointment only, but to not even have the decency to come to the door, but to simply point and act as if I’m irritating her, and that’s only after she realized I could see her. I had a question that would determine whether I was going to make an appointment or not, but she was so rude I didn’t even bother. I am not going to beg you to take my money.

The most rudest person I have ever encountered through email, Im not sure if this was the owner or not but it if it was my interaction with them was extremely rude and so un professional especially if it was the owner, they need to reevaluate their customer service skills.Doing some digging in the reviews Im thinking its one of the females working there that seem to get the most negative reviews. Anyway I offered them to see my work as Im shop searching to pursue my dreams as a piercer and right then and there i was told it was not okay to do as an untrained piercer which i now understand and is not on them, but then I get slapped in the face with an insult and a personal attack by saying I lack integrity and have a horrible cavalier attitude. Which might I add all I told them was a little about me, what Ive done, and how much I love piercings and body modifications. This is incredibly poor judgment on them and was extremely hurtful and cold, I could not believe someone was telling me this whilst I was respectful and even excited to hear a response even if it wasnt one I was looking for. I struggle with autism, depression, and anxiety so for them to tell me that has indeed affected me deeply and spent the day crying and self doubting. working as a piercer is my dream job and they basically crushed that for me. Do not spend your money to these awful people. They do not deserve it at all.

I don’t like thieves! I called you to make sure I booked the right service because when I received the text it read like I needed a piercing and a jewelry change. All I needed was a jewelry change and instead of your money hungry behind discuss some form of reasonable solution you charge me $70 for a service I never received. I was very nervous and the owner Christina was wonderful. So very professional and the shop was immaculate and very hygienic.

The piercer at Piercing Experience, Christina, was extremely rude. I went in asking them to move two earrings I already have to different spots because they were not healing properly due to me not being able to switch out the posts. COVID-19 closing everything prevented me from being able to have them switched to shorter posts. Their ONLY reason for this was because the jewelry wasn’t their jewelry. I have 12 different piercings and have always gone to piercers who are APP certified, a piercer can absolutely use jewelry other than their own, I’ve asked multiple different APP certified piercers about this. Some don’t like using jewelry that isn’t gold, which is understandable, but my jewelry that I wanted to use was all gold. Fine, you don’t want to use my jewelry, but being so rude about it was extremely unnecessary. Christina just has the absolute worst attitude, I’ve never ever experienced a piercer so cold. Never! Everyone I’ve been to in the past has been so friendly and enjoyable to be around. I asked for a refund since she wouldn’t do the piercing and they refused saying because I booked a 45 minute appointment I was wasting her time by cancelling at the last minute. I get that, I don’t like my time wasted either, but I wasn’t even trying to cancel, they refused to provide the service. I had put a deposit down and even prepaid a 20% tip. The whole thing was absolutely absurd. Would definitely not recommend.

I havent gotten a new piercing since 2013, when I used to go to an APP certified shop in Columbus, OH. I found Piercing Experience on the APP website & the shop seemed knowledgable & professional.After getting my triple flat helix piercing 5 days ago, I can safely say that my impression was correct! The whole experience from booking the appointment, to signing the paperwork, to the actual process the day of the appointment was so smooth! Their selection of jewelry is great & Christina was wonderful! So knowledgable, friendly and nice. She also has a calming presence which I imagine would be helpful for those who are nervous about piercings.If youre looking to keep the cost of your piercing down, make sure to inquire about the cost of the jewelry before you commit to it. Piercing Experience stocks some beautiful jewelry from places like Anatometal, LeRoi and BVLA, but those do not come cheap! Dont let the deter you - their pricing is absolutely fair for the level of expertise and quality they provide & they have budget-friendly jewelry options available.

My cousin and I went to get my private area pierced. There was a clear sign that said “Genital piercing 1 guest allow”Before we could even get in the door the female rudely says “You can’t have guest, you can’t have guess she has to leave” She did not even let us talk so My cousin just leaves to avoid any more tension.The Females customer service is trash the only person that was nice and friends was the man that called to let us know that they were ready for me ... which they were not!!! The lady started to disinfect her tools in front of me ... in my understanding I thought when they called me there utensils should have been already disinfected before I get in the build (that’s called being prepared) and it took 45 minutes to get my piercing that does not make any sense to me....worst experience!!!!!!!

Love this place. Super professional and she really makes you feel comfortable. I also love their jewelry selection! Its the only place I go to get piercings. Its worth the trip and Ive never had an issue with any piercing that I received here, not once!

I have been wanting to get my ear cartridge pierced for a longtime, but have been really leary about where and whom will preform the procedure. After researching and reviewing, Piercing Experience was the right choice! They have thought of everything regarding piercing. 1. Updated and clean facility. 2. Very experienced and thoughtful. 3. Necessary equipment and products. Im going back as soon as my first piercing is healed!

Got my piercing done a while back in may and they were not using gloves And maybe thats why my piercing got infected. Not worth the price because they didnt refund me or anything. the piercer was also very rude and loud and demanding in which i know we should all follow the rules regarding public health but she just seemed to get easily annoyed at everything.

They were respectful, professional and efficient and super helpful with the aftercare!

I had cracked my opal gauges and needed a pair for work the next day. I walked in and saw a lovely wooden pair that was a good size. Its harder to find larger gauges so I appreciate them having those in stock.

I had the owner Christina do my septum piercing. And I cannot tell you how appreciative I am.!!! Your shop is beautiful and I definitely enjoyed my piercing experience. I am 4 days post septum piercing and I forget that it’s there. It no longer hurt after an hour after the piercing (except after accidental bumping) and it still does not hurt. I am in love with it.!! I came in for a helix piercing about a year ago. My piercer incorrectly pierced my cartilage the first time, but fished around with the piercing jewelry in an attempt to get the jewelry through. Once that failed, she re-attempted at piercing the cartilage. She repeatedly said sorry and was visibly distraught. Many months later, my dermatologist has referred me to a plastic surgeon due to the pyogenic granuloma that formed at the site of the piercing. Surgical intervention is the only solution. The dermatologist firmly believes that the granuloma was a direct result from the trauma of an improper, unprofessional piercing experience. I absolutely never write reviews for anything, but I have never had such a horrible experience. There are plenty of excellent piercing places around Atlanta where Ive got other piercings done, but this place is not one of them.

Went in for a rook and faux snug piercing. Everyone was very friendly and professional, and the space was very clean. I booked with the guest piercer, Lou. He was awesome! He made me comfortable and was very gentle when it came to the piercings. I will plan to take my daughter there when shes ready to get her ears pierced!

Piercing Experience was recommended by a friend who noted that its prices may be slightly higher than other places, but its worth it due to their quality care. I completely agree. I had a hélix piercing performed by Zach due to Christina being unavailable. It was done perfectly with nearly no pain and I walked out with no swelling, no redness, and no discomfort. Everyone was very professional and personable. Zach ensured it was placed as I would like it, confirmed everything was sterilized, and double checked sizing. Unfortunately, my piercing got infected almost 2 weeks later. To be clear it was not due to Piercing Experience since it was fine before then. I quickly dropped in and Christina did not hesitate to squeeze me in for a consultation. She examined it and made excellent recommendations after first listening to what had happened. It was very clear that she did not just care about her customer, but in my case, also her patient. I have been following her recommendations and the piercing is still healing, clearly doing better than before. This location is very professional and has excellent quality care. I strongly recommend them. The only thing to note is that they can be busy and this not exactly on time for appointments, so be patient. It will be worth it.

I got my navel pierced here. The building was very clean and nicely decorated. The staff was kind and Christina was AMAZING!!! They use all sterile equipment and talk you through the process. The jewelry is high quality. I will definitely come back here for any future piercings.

Super professional and a wonderful place. All three of the piercings I have gotten here never got infected and healed well. However, it is very pricey compared to other places you can get a piercing done.

Great service and helpful. I came in to have my nose pierced. The staff was helpful, answered my questions and let me know it would be 30 minutes until I could be seen. I was given advice and a recommendation on what type of jewelry would be best. The piercing was done very professionally and hygenically. All of my questions were answered and I saw a mark to show where my piercing would be placed before it was done. It took very little time for the actual piercing. Very happy with everything and will have a follow up in a few weeks to make sure everything is going well.

Great place to get pierced. Thorough, helpful, knowledgeable staff. Zakk did a nostril piercing for me, and he is the best. Everyone on the phone and at the front desk has also been really helpful and knowledgeable. If you need to get pierced in Atlanta, this is the place to go!

I have never had a bad experience here. They are always super friendly and professional and very informative. They answer any questions you have to the best of their ability. I finally got a few piercings by Lou and he was extremely professional, he talked me through the entire process. And they are extremely clean. This is literally the only shop I go to for piercings/jewelry, I will always be a returning customer!

I love coming here! The shop is clean and quiet, staff are polite and easy to talk to. I never feel dumb asking questions! Theyre happy to answer. Christina is wonderful and explains her process before she begins so you know what to expect. They give great aftercare instructions and send reminder emails/texts for your free follow-up appointment to make sure youre healing up correctly. Definitely worth a visit.

Im sure this is a clean and reputable place but when I went there were 3 people standing around who refused to make an appointment while I was inside (I should go online) or tell me the price of the jewelry I wanted (gave me a range of $300) or otherwise seem the least bit interested in offering any service at all. Pretty cold reception and I wont be back.
