I bought pine straw from here that was rolled and it had a lot of sticks and leaves in it. They didnt tell me about that before I bought them. They were out of bales so I cant tell you what they have in them.

S&S delivered and spread pine straw to my house recently and this was the 1st time I have used a service to spread pine straw vs getting it myself from Home Depot/ Lowes etc. The long leaf pine straw makes a huge difference and it was really nice to get home after work and see my yard had been upgraded while I was away. I highly recommend S&S. Friendly staff and a great product!

I am so disappointed in my recent experience. I ordered my pine straw last year and was completely satisfied with the service and product. I then received a voicemail this year reminding me to order pine straw again. I called to order and was first told that they dont deliver to my area. After I explained that I received a voicemail to order again I was then I told I could place my order. Even though I placed the same order as I did last year, I was advised that 30 bales of pine straw wasnt a big enough order and it would take time to deliver. I was completely fine with that and even said as long as it was within the month it wasnt a problem. I was then advised that it would be delivered between 1-3 pm on a Wednesday the following week. My wife took time off to be home for the delivery. When we did not receive a call that the pine straw would be delivered, I called to see if the delivery was still coming. I was then advised that I would receive a call in 10 minutes to confirm that the order is on the way. I never received a callback. The next day I called to question why I did not receive my order. The person I spoke with on the phone said she called the person delivering the pine straw and was told they were on their way to make my delivery (which I did not ever receive). She then explained that my order was so small that the person delivering my order must have lied to her. She then told me that they were out of pine straw for the day. I asked when my order would be delivered and I was told that it was unsure. After struggling to get an answer I questioned if my order is even important because it sounded like I should shop elsewhere. The person on the phone suggested that it may be best for me to shop elsewhere. I told her that I liked the price and product and that I would prefer to shop with the company but if that is not an option to please let me know. I was then told that she would speak with the manager and call me back in 10-15 minutes to see if they would deliver my order or if I should shop somewhere else. A callback that would also never happen. If a company does not want my service it would be appreciated if I was told upfront and not have mine or my wifes time wasted. I couldve shopped elsewhere but had a week wasted waiting for an order that was obviously not worth Todays Pine Straw and Landscapings time.

I have been buying quality Pinestraw from Sliman for years but yesterday I bought 50 bales and have to say it was absolutely horrible. The bales were old, moldy, lots of trash, some bales just fell apart like a pile of trash. Just horrible and on the same level with the “big box stores. Since Joe sold out the quality has not been the same.

Unacceptable customer service. Ordered pine straw from them, scheduled the day, but nobody showed up and they didn’t even call! Rescheduled delivery, they didn’t show up because of some Boy Scout event. Rescheduled it again and they managed to mess up delivery time..... I wouldn’t recommend them to anybody.

You guys are great!!! Love your pinestraw!! I have gotten it from other vendors and 80% of the time the other vendors straw has been loaded in trash and debree and it crumbles as you install it.....NOT S and S Pinestraw it is high quality!!

I just tried to purchase pine straw from this company and was told that they were too busy. How can you be too busy to sell a product to a customer? Must not want to stay in business very long ..... Hope you survive during rough times.
