American Well & Irrigation completed our sprinkler system. It was great. Quickly responded wit a great quote, quickly set a date and installed, and completed the job easily within the day. A smooth and painless process. To top it off, when it was determined that I needed a new pump, they were there to ensure that I had a pump that would do the job without getting more than I needed. They stuck to their quote and would highly recommend them.

The owner is a super great guy, installers were awesome and the system works great! Price is right too!! Worst service ever. Paid almost $2000 to repair existing system. Repeatedly had to call them back to repair their work for two months. Then in August, system broke and flooded yard during a raining spell, cost $ 3000 in water usage from JEA and they refused to back their work. Total cost of non-functioning irrigation system = $ 5000. Beware of this company

Great work! Called ahead to indicate when they were about 20 minutes from my house. Arrived, had already reviewed the notes given to the person that had handled my call. When we started work, the techs had no problem with me poking my nose in their business( or at least they didnt complain). They diagnosed my system, gave a few suggestions for future upgrades and then either fixed or explained the function of each piece. They were honest and fast at a very fair price. Couldnt ask for more. Ill have them back out in the spring when we start the diagnosis on the irrigation system. If you need someone ho knows their way around a well and irrigation system, give these people a call.

Chuck and his crew arrived right on time in the morning to start my irrigation system. Chuck asked me several questions to make sure that he understood exactly what we wanted in our sprinkler system and what areas were going to have sod. They jumped right in using the latest equipment and installed my sprinkler system. I also requested a water softener which was installed next, both systems are exactly what I wanted and I could not be happier. They also did an excellent job of cleaning up so you didnt even know they were there. Thank you American Well and irrigation for two great systems!

I can not say enough about American Well & Irrigation! I walked out into my garage to find a puddle of water near my water softener and had no clue what to do except call them for help. Michelle was extremely helpful and within an hour of the call, Joe arrived. He immediately found the culprit, replace the bad part, reset everything and had me up and running in no time. He even adjusted my irrigation system and reset it for me after telling him of issues I was having. I can not say enough great things about this company. This is the second time they have been here and I will make sure to have them here every year for maintenance along with any other irrigation issues. Very fair charges also! I have had to use them twice and both times they were great! The office staff is always nice and the technicians are knowledgeable and nice. I hate hiring a company that charges by the hour (all irrigation companies do) because I think they will milk the time but American well does not do that at all, they are very honest with their time. I will continue to use them for sure

These guys do an impressive job of standing by their work. In late March 2019 my irrigation system was not working. After extensive repair work and installation of a backflow, they got me running again. This spring when I turned the system on again after a few months off, it wasnt working again. The technician who came out found issues from the previous years work that needed correcting. Joe, the owner, came out to inspect, and before I even asked, assured me they would fix what needed fixing and not charge me a thing. That exceeds their written warranty by a good bit and is the kind of honorable approach to business that makes me a very loyal customer.

American Well installed a water softener and i love it! The office staff was very helpful, called the day before the appointment, and when they had someone on their way to me. The installer (Chuck) was very friendly and cleaned up before he left. My water has never been better!

I had an irrigation leak that was flooding my front yard and there was no shut off valve for the line that was broken so I had to shut off the water to my house. I called American Well and Irrigation and explained my dilemma to Michelle, who was very professional and sympathetic to my problem. She said she could have a technician come to my house in about two hours. When the technician was slightly delayed finishing up another job, she called me back twice to keep me up to date on his arrival time. Justin (the technician) arrived within a couple of hours of my call and he was very knowledgeable, professional, and courteous. He explained what he was going to do to repair the leak, which was difficult to get to because it was under four other pipes. He completed the work in less than an hour. The labor and parts charges were very reasonable. I was very impressed with the level of service that both Michelle and Justin provided. Im a former small business owner and I know good sevice when I see it - in the case it was excellent service. They will now be my go to company whenever I need irrigation work done.

My water softener was having issues recently so I called American Well & Irrigation. I spoke to Michelle on the phone and she was wonderful! With such a busy schedule between work and school, she was able to fit me in perfectly to where I would be available. They came out and fixed the issue within 2 days with very reasonable pricing. Would reccommend for any irrigation or water softener needs!!

Installed a new pump and pressure tank. Did not bother to check the pressure available in the well. Apparently the well doesnt have enough water in it to generate any useful pressure. When called to ask about possible solutions, I was told that they would charge $85 for a service visit and could not be there for three weeks. Im in the middle of having an irrigation system and sod installed so that doesnt work. Now Im out $800 on a totally useless pump, plus the technician tracked mud through my house.If youre planning on having them do any work for you, make damn sure you check the pressure before they leave.

I recently called American Well for a water softer instillation. The office sent out a very nice gentleman who gave us an estimate for the costs, and described the pros and cons for our particular situation and really left it up to us to decide if we wanted it with no pressure to buy. We went ahead and the instillation went very smoothly with the team coming in at the appointed time and doing an excellent job in installing the water softener. My water is now better than ever and my kids and wife really notice the difference. Its a wonder to now take a shower and the water from the tap tastes and feels much clearer than ever.American well is very professional - from when I called and talked to the ladies at the office from the time I paid the bill, everything was done with the utmost friendly professionalism. Ive recommended them to my neighbors as well who also have had good experiences. I cannot recommend them enough.

I needed work done on my well on Fernandina Beach. They got it done. What was terrific about American is that they came back twice,, freeof charge to make minor adjustments and fast and friendly.

The gentleman that services the account is great however Michelle doesnt have a customer service bone in her body. But they get over 100 calls a day so I guess they dont have to be considerate

We just had a water softener/ conditioner installed by them. It was a super awesome expierience! They were in and out and it took approximately an hour and 15 minutes for install. My water has never been better. Its changed the taste of my water, less soap, great hair days and it will be kind to our pipes. IfIyou have skin irritation this will help as well. They also installed a backflow meter for us as well and hooked me up to city water. The office staff is extremely friendly and very easy to deal with. I had updates on a regular basis for my installs. If your looking to change your water expierience in your house I recommend that you reach out. Great local Jacksonville based company!

Front desk receptionist is very rude. She has terrible customer service and no consideration of peoples time. After waiting for over a month for the appointment and over 2 hours outside of the time frame I was promised, they had the audacity to cancel my appointment after posting this. I would never recommend anyone to use this business. This issue could have been handled and resolved if someone actually cared about their customers and the service they were delivering. #Americanwellirrigation

The most unprofessional company I have ever worked with. It took weeks to get a quote from them and when I did, it was quickly scribbled on an invoice proposal without a date and breakout of the services and parts and sent to me. It was like here is your quote so shut up and either pay it or go away. They were much higher than everyone else. Dont use these people for your irrigation needs. They never call you back when you leave a message and they are much higher than everyone else. I am concerned that the review below is true about the breaking of the sprinklers heads. Be very wary!

American well and irrigation installed a shallow well, replaced our pump, and adjusted our sprinkler system. I was happy with the initial installation and service. However, after the initial large expenditure, they were never available for trouble shooting or problems I had afterwards. They were very callous and stated they had too many clients and I would have to wait months. I would never use them again.

Unfortunately, they do not have an after hour emergency contact.

Michelle was very professional and friendly on the phone, the two gentlemen that came out and repaired my backflow were very courteous and professional. They were running alittle behind due to another emergency BUT, their professionalism and apologies for it went a long way with me. Too many companies have no respect for other peoples time so the way they handled it spoke volumes to me. Also my backflow is so nice lol, yes I would recommend this company.

I called them to have my sprinkler fix and they did fix it thou he was in a little hurry for it was raining. Then I asked him about the sensor showing no signal and he suggested to have if replaced for it is 10 years old. He replaced my wireless rain sensor to a wired one for $72. I called rainbird company and found out that the only thing I need to do is change the battery which will only cost me about $5. They said I should not replaced the sensor unless the sensor is actually broken like it got hit by a lightning or something... VERY HORRIBLE....when I told him that im undecided if im gonna go ahead and have him replaced my sensor or not, he said sir it is raining and im gonna bring back my stuff to the van then you can decide AGAIN HORRIBLE

Terrible customer service. I scheduled more than a month ago. The day before the appointment, they tell me I have to be home when they come. When I asked for options, they told me I could look for some other company. So I did!
