You really cant beat Compton Doors for all your garage door needs! My wife contacted Compton and talked to Jill in their office, who was very friendly and helpful and scheduled a visit so we could get a clear estimate for repairs. Mike, a manager there, later came to my house and provided a very reasonable estimate for repairs and in no time had my three car garage working perfectly on a follow-up visit! You will find they are very professional, very knowledgeable, very friendly, and very honest!! I highly recommend them and hope to do business with them for many years to come!

We have used Compton for many years now. It is great to be able to support a local company who stands behind their products and work. They are a great company! Everyone is friendly/professional from sales/front office to installation/repairs. There is never any sales pressure and they wont replace parts for the sake of repairing - only when truly needed. Prices are reasonable.

I had new garage door openers installed a month or so ago and Sean did an amazing install. I just had brand new garage doors installed yesterday by Sean (who I specifically asked for given the awesome experience I had previously) and yet again, Compton Doors came through with an amazing install job. Everyone at Compton Doors has been the best to work with .. from Jill to Bob to Sean ... I will recommend them to all my friends.

Long overdue door replacement. Compton was better priced than Home Depot for the same product. Techs showed up when they said they would. Install was very quick and professional. I was surprised about how fast they had the old door and hardware down and in the truck and the the new door up. Works flawlessly. The vinyl trim and weather stripping was a nice touch and unexpected. Would highly recommend!

Compton Doors is fantastic! They came to install our new garage door in February. We heard a noise the other day. Called them up and they came to see what the issue was. I called when I had an issue and I needed help with my existing garage door. Mike came out right away and helped me close my door. He was able to quote a price and get us a new garage door installed the next day. I had the garage door installed with installer Joe. The next day after looking at the door I noticed it was not level. I called Compton Door back and spoke with Jill. She was very pleasant to deal with. However, she transferred me over to the owner Bob who was very rude and arrogant . After I explained my concerns he wanted to know how many garage doors had I installed? If I installed garage doors I would not have had to hire his company. He did send Mike and Joe back to check on the door. They came back and fixed the problem quickly. Both Mike and Joe were very professional and pleasant to deal with. A breath of fresh air compared to the owner Bob. Based on dealing with Bob, I would not recommend Compton Door. If he treats his customers so rudely, hopefully he treats his help better.

Went with these folks to get a torsion spring replaced. Service was quick and reasonably priced. Customer service was excellent. The repair person even fixed up some small unrelated problems and when I called in to them the receptionists were very kind.

The woman who set up the service appointment lovely and knowledgeable. Mike B & Joe came for service and were quick, thorough and friendly. Totally recommend!! I had circa 1986 garage doors. I had circa 2002 garage door openers. By 2018 the 32+ year old contractor-grade garage doors were falling apart, the 16+ year old home-owner installed Genie garage door openers were dying, I knew I had to make a move. Armed with my knowledges from 10 years working in a Big-Box Home Center, 3 years working at a major NE Lumber & Building Supply Company and after having researched all products and regional purveyors, I selected Compton Doors. Now 2 years into my Garage Door upgrade with the 2 new Coachman Doors and Liftmaster DC openers working like they were just installed yesterday, heres my take-away....: Compton Doors....wonderful products,, excellent pricing, exceptional service......The owners Bob & Jill went above and beyond, with Bob even making additional trips to my home to remeasure and insure that my big Toyota Tundra & antenna would have total door clearance, while Jill made sure of covering all the minutia, the warranties and many install details. The Installation engineers, Steve & Mike were incredible in their astute attention to detail, from rapid tear-down & removal to their meticulous install and testing. nuff said. (NOTE: Mike even came back out at the 1-year marker to check & readjust for any settling/sagging that may have occurred during the 1st year.... at no charge!)

This is a 5-star company, beginning with my first phone call with Holly, who was extremely courteous and knowledgeable, also meeting Mike who came to our home and evaluated our situation, another meeting with Jill in the office who set up the installation date and was also so professional and knowledgeable, and lastly Steve who installed our new garage door and Lift Master opener with battery backup. EVERYTHING they said would be done, they did, in a timely manner. This company was recommended to me by a friend, and I would also highly recommend them to anyone. They have old school values and ethics in a modern world!!

We contracted Compton Doors to install a new 16 Garage door and opener. The total price was very competitive, the ordering process was seamless Jill was very knowledgeable and easy to work with. The installation was flawless, crew arrived early and replaced the old wooden door and opener with a beautiful new door and wireless opener. I had a new garage door and opener installed by Mike. From start to finish it was a very pleasant experience. Mike came out to view the job and told me exactly what he would need to do. IT WAS RECENTLY AROUND THE BEGINNING OF MAY THAT MY GARAGE DOOR GAVE OUT AND WAS STUCK IN THE UP POSITION. IT WAS RECOMMENDED TO ME TO CALL COMPTON DOORS AT THE TIME. I TOLD THEM MY PROBLEM AND THEY SAID IT MIGHT BE TWO WEEKS TO GET A NEW DOOR INSTALLED.. THE NEXT DAY I RECEIVED A CALL THAT THEY HAD A DOOR AND WOULD BE THERE THE NEXT DAY.. THE NEXT DAY AT 8:30 IN MORNING A TRUCK WAS IN MY DRIVEWAY AND A GENTLEMAN CAME AND INSTALLED A NEW DOOR IN TWO HOURS AND DID A GREAT JOB FOR ME.. The company administration is not good. Scheduling is poor, they dont have answers and dont seem to care much either. Not happy with their service. The work they do is decent but too much hassle. Any handyman can do this and cheaper.

We had a garage door installed by Rich from Compton doors.A screw had come loose and the door guide wires came off, so we called and the same installer Rich came the day we called, fixed the problem and he did an excellent job.The entire experience was outstanding. I give this company a 1 star for the customer service, the upper management, they are arrogant and rude to deal with. However the Installers are very good as they are CONTRACTORS and very professional and we are very happy with the work they have always done. Wish I could deal with them directly. The installers get a five star.

I find it unbelievable that we ordered 2 garage doors from Home Depot August 15, 2018. $7500 for the doors $1,500 for installation, Pain in full for all expecting installation would be in the next couple weeks. Her we are 12 weeks later still working on an installation date with Compton doors. After several Complaints Home Depot Avon, ma basically doesnt care and Compton door has Lots of varying excuses. I am EXTREMELY frustrated with this process. Home Depot needs to find a Different installation company or provide different installation choices.

Had both my doors replaced by Compton about 6 years ago. Recently, they were able to match and replace one that was destroyed. On time, neat and reasonable. The quoted price was the price I paid.

From measure appointment and quote to install, Compton Door was right on time. They also were right within our budget. Friendly and easy to work with.

I called and they actually answered the phone, understood my garage door problem, called me back when the technician was on his way (same day) and the problem was fixed at a very reasonable price. Excellent !

I ordered 2 overhead doors at Compton Doors and they set them up for me beautifully. The service was also excellent I highly recommend getting youre doors here!

By far the worst experience Ive ever had with a vendor. The man screamed and yelled at me one the phone while dropping tons of f-bombs. I asked Compton Doors - a bit snarkily I admit and that was improper, to do an installation a bit later in the afternoon because I couldnt get home until 2 p.m. at the earliest. I said, and I was terse, that most people work 9 - 5. He gets on the phone, starts screaming how he works from 6 to 2 and f-bomb this and f-bomb that. My comment was meant for flexibility, he took it as a judgment on his work ethic. My snarkiness was a mistake, but his violent, angry and threatening reaction full of swears was way out proportion. The back story to all this is that Compton Doors had a month to install and didnt install it. It was ordered through Home Depot, and I never got a call, no voicemails or anything from Home Depot or Compton Doors despite them having my information and door measurements. Home Depot dropped the ball in this story too, but Compton Doors was on another level. My basement pipes had almost already frozen (this was late March 2017 in Boston) and anyone can open up my broken garage door. Ive lodged my complaint with Home Depot. Ive never had a business scream at me like that before in my life and I sincerely hope that Home Depot takes note of his behavior and how Compton Doors does business.

Other garage installers told me it couldnt be done. Compton not only said it could, the installer had done this type of installation before and they came through! I have never loved a garage door like this one because it CAN be done!!!Thank you.
