My husband and I went to Namco, located at 275 Washington Street, South Attleboro, MA 02703. The manager Amber B was very helpful, and knowledgeable about closing products that we needed. We also had to get another cover because the one we had gotten months before had torn at the rings. It was replaced without a hassle. Great service from all employees and management. I have recommended this store, and would recommend it to all my friends. I have always had very good service at this location. If there is a problem they work very hard to help solve. Amber B and staff are very friendly, knowledgeable, and provide excellent service. This is the best store with a wide variety of products. If I could have given it a minus rating I would! The worst pool company to deal/order from! I have been dealing with this company since LAST YEAR. After purchasing and waiting a couple months for my pool, I was inform that they had ran out of pools. Giving them the benefit of the doubt, since last year was a hectic one, here I am today dealing with lack of customer service AGAIN. It took months and me having to be on top of them to track down my own pool. I personally dealt with Priscilla, who is not a good manager at all! From the beginning she was worried more about the sale then being helpful what’s so ever. All the many conversation I had had with her, all she was worried about were the 10+ customers being upset with her since they themselves have not gotten their pool or have been getting the run around. After having to go above her, I was finally able to get my pool only to find that I did not get all the equipment that was needed for the pool. I would never suggest this company and very much will spread the word on how poorly run this company is. Do yourself the favor and pay the extra money for better service and quality overall and go somewhere else!
We purchased a pool for a gift to our son and his family on December 13,2020. Paid for the entire thing including the installation. We were told he would be notified in May as to when it would be delivered and installed. May came and he had not heard anything so he called the store and they said they had nothing to do with the installer he had to call them. He called and got a voice mail saying how busy they were and to not call back again. By the way he had gotten the permit so he was ready for them. He did finally get a hold of the installer and they said they didnt even have his name on their list. The best they could do was to get to him the end of July. He then called the store and explained everything that was going on and guess what they didnt even know that the pool had never even been delivered. They ended up refunding the money which is a good thing but my husband and I went down to the store to talk with them and all she did was blame the sales girl and how she had not been trained properly. Well whos fault is that!! While she is putting the blame on everything else it comes out that they dont even have the pool. So did they sell us a pool that they didnt even have or did they sell it to someone else in the meantime. I am so mad and upset and just want to say this is the worse company to do business with. Our grandchildren have been looking forward to this pool since December and thanks to your awful service they have nothing. I have been spreading this story and will continue so you dont have to chance to do this to another customer. Shame on you Namco
The people there were very nice and I would have ordered except that they weren’t installing until next year.
Went in to purchase a pool ladder. They wouldnt sell us either one of the three they had on display because we hadnt purchased the package aka pool there. Horrible! Wont ever go back. There were other customers in the store who couldnt believe it either. They claimed it was a liability because they had already assembled them. We even offered to sign a waiver stating we wouldnt hold them liable if something happened. Purchased one right up the street from another seasonal company instead.
This had always been my go-to place, and I bought my pool there, but last summer started a trend. Quick turnover of employees-not the usual faces. Water testing machine never works, even during the start and at the middle of the summer. I would still go there, but Im losing interest really quick. I think Ill be sticking with Seasonal, a half mile up the street.
Purchased a pool back in December paid in full for it plus installation. Are date was end of May for the install we have not had any updates, and when I contacted the installer that was supposed to have are install they did not know who I was or have my work order. I contacted Namco and was told to call corporate. Get a call back asking me if I even had my pool. (Which is no) So now apparently the pool i purchased is out of stock because their cashier rang it in wrong at the date of purchase. All they could do to help is a full refund and no pool to swim in. Overall horrible buissenss, horrible company, if you want a pool for your summer fun you better look somewhere else because you will be disappointed.
The customer service that we received from Emily, Assistant Manager was fantastic! Emily was knowledgeable, helpful and super friendly. She went above and beyond to ensure all of our customer needs were met. Her store has our business going forward. Thank you!
I was in the market for a new patio set and decided to stop on in there. Priscilla was so knowledgeable and friendly and ended up with the nice Florida set.

Terrible customer service! Heidi (maybe the manager?) is pompous, arrogant, unprofessional and rude. Scott was very professional, but everything the 2 said conflicted the other. The pool we purchased was on back order for over 3 weeks, and no phone call was made. The jacuzzi we purchased was supposed to be delivered within 2 weeks and we waited 5 weeks with no phone call on delay. I was also told the jets would be cleaned, but due to the condition the jacuzzi was delivered in, (it was filthy) I dont believe it was. I was given a free bottle of solution to clean it ourselves (which ment filling and draining it twice) When I would call to inquire the status of the delivery, and express my displeasure, Heidi was extremely rude and I quote I have been here since 8am and have been listening to this stuff all day. I am tired. We were told their installers hand dug the pools to avoid taking apart our fence. (I was told I must have misunderstood because noone would have said that. But the installer said it was the 2nd time Namco told their customers that just that week) The installer stated he had been installing pools for 32 years and has never hand dug a pool. Any time I was told I would get a phone call back, I never did. We went in for start up chemicals and did exactly as told and it turned green. I called for help and Heidi was incredibly rude (again) and slamming the phone without saying goodbye. We are first time pool owners and its extremely frustrating to be told 2 or 3 different things. We will never step foot in this store again.
Absolute joke! Let me save you some time, aggravation and trouble. If your looking to buy a pool go somewhere else! Calls to the store and Corporate proved pointless. Purchased a pool April 24th paid cash in full. Shipment missing items, the most important being the fencing. Heard since since May it should be on the next truck. This was said to me every 2 weeks. Here we are the end of July and still nothing. This time I heard a new reason “because the borders are closed and they ship from Canada”. Not sure how those who purchased their pools from Namco after me received their complete order (know of 2 for certain) but good for them.Bottom line Corporate doesn’t care (never got a call back from them and the store service reps most of them pleasant say it’s Corporate. Regardless, lots of opportunities in customer service for this business.Oh if the store reps tell you you will get a call back from the store manager don’t hold your breathe.
We have been shopping at this for several years now- they’ve always had everything we need to maintain our in-ground pool. The staff members are helpful and professional; we always seek out Heidi when we can, as she has given great advice and recommendations that have helped keep us swimming happily all season. I highly recommend this store.
If I could give negative stars, I would. We purchased a pool in late May with the expectation that the pool would be in stock Mid-June and installation would take place in the beginning of July. We then went to the store 2 days later to sign our contract and noticed that the install date was quoted for the end of July. When we questioned this information, (Heidi) the staff member was very rude and was clearly disturbed that we would ask such a question while we were amidst a pandemic. We did have questions since this was our first pool purchase but did not want to deal with that associate so we chose to sign and figured we would call the store and speak with a manager. I called the store numerous times, sent emails and finally got a response almost 3 weeks later. When they called they couldnt retrieve my information with my name or address, only the transaction number on the receipt, so that delayed my questions being answered AGAIN. When I finally got home to look at the receipt, I called the store, no one answered and Heidi called back to get the transaction number, then had to call me back again. FINALLY, she assured me that the pool is still on track to be delivered/installed on time and answered the questions I had.We were referred to Namco by a family member and they have since canceled their purchase. They were supposed to have their pool installed in early July and after finally getting ahold of someone in corporate, they were told that it was going to be scheduled for late August now because all the pools would not be in stock at their warehouse until that time. Corporate even said, Im not sure why the store is telling their customers that they are on track because its not true. This is a big concern of mine and Ive been trying to get ahold of an associate at the store, no response. Emails, no response. Called corporate, voicemail is full and no response. Now I have to drive to the store to actually speak to someone because they wont respond to me. This is hands down the worse experience Ive ever had with a company. Their communication and follow through is unacceptable. I understand that this is unprecedented times but if orders are being delayed, they should be calling each one of their customers and informing them of this. Anyone thinking about buying a pool from Namco, should run for the hills. Save yourself the time and aggravation.
Only 2 employees. Computer problem so couldnt test water. Recommend chemical to correct pool water. After getting home, 25 miles away, discover stuff for sand filter not my de filter.
Their manager Scott is great! He’s been helping me out for years. Every time I have a question, or concerns about my pool or hot tub he always has an answer for me and gets me what I need to solve my issue.
Heidi has made my experience at Namco better than perfect. She is the reason I have continued getting all my pool supplies from Namco. Heidi is an asset to your company....Thankyou Heidi !
Visiting namco today has me beyond excited for summer!! Scott helped me get into the best pool with really good financial options to help in the process. The stress was taken care of with thorough explanation of all the chemicals that needed to be purchased and it’s usage. Staff helped me picked out some really cute floaty‘s and reassured me if I needed anything else to always reach out!!!
Above ground pool delivered later than expected, and when the pool was going to be assembled there were missing parts and Namco is unresponsive! No one will answer the phone and when you go in person the staff is just as frustrated. I would NEVER order a pool from them
We spent over $15k on a hot tub a month ago. They said it would be delivered the following week, it never came. We call the store 20-30x a day and no one answers the phone. We finally called another Namco location and the woman told us she cant help us we will need to drive to Mass (from RI) and visit the store. We take the time to go to the store and they tell us the tub was ordered wrong and will be in touch the following monday to which my husband says ok but what if you dont call because no one answers the phone here and she said dont worry I will call. Guess what? no call. So we continue to call the store 20-30x a day for the next week and a half, no answer. Call the corporate number, no answer. Looks like we will be taking another drive to Mass to find our 15k...horrible horrible horrible customer service, I cant even wrap my head around how these people do business.
Scott is a pleasure to work with. Hes very thorough with his answers and is extremely knowledgeable. If you have a question, he has an answer. With Scotts help my pool and jacuzzi are working wonderfully without any issues. I 100% recommend to talk to scott for help. Very professional guy and the attleboro namco team is great.
Wonderful place to buy a pool. Despite the ongoing construction, inside you will be greeted with a wonderful staff who seem to be the only people around who really know what they are talking about when it comes to pools. They are honest and dont hold back any details from the customer. They store is looking great! After the renovation they really look like a pool store to compete with. Their prices are good, given their reliable brand they carry. Went in earlier this season and was glad to see all the same managers and staff again. Wouldnt spend my money anywhere els but Namco Pools!!!
Ive called multiple times during business hours the message tells me that they arent accepting walk ins then offers to transfer me to the store to talk to an attendant and nobody EVER picks up, then I get the offer to leave a message so I do and guess what? Leave and message and they didnt get back to me! **Shocking**

So I went to the cash register, and was asked if I had a rewards card. I said not with me, can you look it up? Cashier: I wish I knew how. Heres your receipt, have a good night...(Me: Seriously? This is the best they could hire?)Despite the new location in the old Staples location in S Attleboro, they have the worst merchandising. A no frills vinyl banner on the front of the store over the old Staples sign and boxes strewn everywhere with empty shelves and wasted space. Clearly the overpriced items are paying for the unnecessary square footage. Grade: D+Updated 11/8/2016 - They appear to have relocated to a smaller store next door in the same plaza. Hopefully their service has improved!
Awful, incompetent service terrible products. My patio set was delivered broken and arrived two weeks later than they promised because the store filled out my phone number incorrectly and the shipping company couldnt contact me. They also gave me the wrong information about the having my pool installed and it cost me additional money. Finally when the pool was installed the filter leaked and they told me to take it up with the installer WHO THEY PICKED and who wont return my calls.Update:So we took Mckenna up on her offer to email her. Nothing got solved. The patio set table top was defective and she acknowledged it but to date it has not been replaced. Our second email has gone unanswered. We had some other issues. Apparently their installer didnt quite install the pool to code so Ive had to correct that issue. All in all, the only response we have gotten for our poor service and shoddy product is a sorry and empty promises. I dont often give a bad review and Ive given alot but Namco of Attleboro deserves my worst ever
If I could put no stars I would. We purchased a hot tub Sat May 18 and were told delivery in two weeks and she would know better on the monday and call us. No communication from the store, no response to several emails for the following two weeks. This was a floor model in an Auburn store. Manager never returned our calls there either in week three. Heidi who works in S Attleboro seemed put off two weeks after our purchase that we were calling and wondering the status. We already received a bill with no Hot Tub in our possession. She was curt on the phone and assured me a call on that monday which would have been a little over week two. We let a week go by with no call again, no return email until we showed up at the store at the end of week three to cancel the order. She typed so hard on the keyboard I thought it would crack, store was full of customers, she said she isnt responsible for the warehouse but I informed her that it was not the warehouse as we are not unreasonable but her lack of communication completely and our fear of how will we get service if this EVER gets delivered which by the way still hadnt been scheduled. She said Thats fine to cancel and this works out best for both of us. Well is that Namcos attitude that their sale of 15,500 for a floor model hot tub is no big deal to cancel? We decided we will buy a Hot Tub elsewhere... Also on calling the store two weeks out, the clerk who answered the phone and called me Hon about 15 times told me Heidi was eating her lunch and she would try to have her return a call but they were busy....also said that they are too busy to return emails as well. Funny when I initially emailed Jacuzzi for info, Heidi emailed me several times to make a sale. Also, I own a business and you dont refer to customers as Hon or sweetie on the phone or in person. Poor Poor Poor Customer Service and I can guarantee I will never set foot in a Namco again. Jacuzzi should find another distributor as I will now buy another brand from another store.

Very disappointed. This is my first pool and was promised to have it ready by Memorial Day. We have been getting the run around and still waiting for the pool to even be delivered, never mind installed. Doesnt look like my pool will be ready for Memorial Day.
