Great selection of meats. Pasta, produce. They have really nice fruits during the summer at an awesome price. They also have a natural medicine/herbs section which I love! & there is always someone there that can help you pick out what you need so you’re not standing there clueless. Clean & tidy store. The staff is friendly. Pleasant shopping experience everytime 😌 their location & parking is awkward tho but it’s still worth the hassle!

Great store that has a lot of good stuff. There is a bakery inside which bake amazing things sucks as cake and other Russian sweets. All around great store, with added parking spots its much easier. I recommend you to visit it if your passing by anytime!

The best Russian store around the south end. Weve been to many stores around and this one always has fresh food, no expired items. Their deli is pretty yummy too but I wish the piroshky were more available I cant even get those theyre always sold out. And I also wish they had chebureki as well. This will always be worth a 20 minute drive for me and my husband.

Half of the customers doesnt wear a mask, there are flies near the groceries, very poor choice of products. I havent been to this shop for 4 years and was sad to see how terrible it became. Will not go back and will not recommend anyone else to.

Spoiled produce and weird odor in the store! I can smell it through my mask. Oh, btw, customers don’t wear them or pretend that they do by keeping ‘em on their mouths. I’ve just seen a comment by some visitor who said if you are concerned about mask rules and social distancing, so you are a zombie and you should find a different place to go to (read: a normal American store where customers are appreciated and the state laws followed). Also, the workers are not friendly and often act rude. Russian store, it explains everything.

Russian store with a small deli and limited seating. No deli sandwiches. Comprehensive selection of Russian food items. I purchased a smoked salmon, it was tasty, but I prefer it to be drier. The borsht was hot vegetables and potatoes, came with 2 slices of home-style bread, for only $3.99.

Fresh produce and a nice stop for quick to go lunches or dinners. Food is well prepared and the portions are large. Do get a Russian borscht to warm you and fill you up!

Usually my go to place around the holidays for deli items and other international foods but I was distraught by the total disregard for mask wearing, social distancing and use of plastic shields at checkout.The employees restocking the shelves, < 20% were wearing a face covering (some didnt even have one visibly on their person). 50% of those wearing face coverings were using a cheesecloth like material (aka useless). The workers in the bakery were completely face cover less, so dont buy any of the pre baked stuff unless you plan on throwing it back in the oven. And there was 0 enforcement for customer to wear masks (if employees dont why would they tell customers to do it).Overall, I would give them a 0 star review (if I could) for their negligence and i suggest you find another place to spend your money this holiday season that is more respectful of the temporary restrictions in WA at the time.

I wont be returning because staff doesnt wear masks or have them on their chin, customers are without mask and absolutely no social distancing, pastry I got there was tasty until I found hair that was baked inside the pastry, no thanks not interested to get Covid or hair in my food.

Best European food in WA

Very rude staff. Seems as if they recently hired a new team. I was the only person in line and about 3 cashiers were just laughing and not paying attention to the customers. When I came up and put my basket down, they had attitude as if they’re mad I interrupted their conversation. Marvel does this thing where if you spend $50 or more you get free coffee or ice cream. I spent over $100. I came up to the counter with the espresso, and they told me they had cleaned the machine and were done for the day. They close at 9, and it was 8 when I was asking for the coffee. I said that’s fine and asked for the ice cream to which they said they were out. Then don’t advertise your deal!!

SELLING EXPIRED SAUSAGE! They print their own tags so when the sausage expires by couple months they can print a new labels with new expiration date. I worked there and I saw them doing it that’s why I quit.CHECK EXPIRATION DATES ON ALL ITEMS!Chocolate candies are laying on shelves for months while already expired, but have no expiration date so people will still buy them.Cashiers are rude all the time for no reason!

I think this must be more of a niche place that doesnt appreciate outsiders. I sent my husband to look for some buckwheat that they carry specifically in Russia. However he got passed out to three different people that couldnt answer his question when he didnt see on any on the shelf he got the distinct impression they were uncomfortable around black people. Definitely wont be back and well find my European specialty items elsewhere.

Parking is full most of the time, especially evenings. They should make more parking lots, and that should benefit the business too as there are people who stop for lunch and some just to shop around.

This is an awesome place to buy fresh produce, fresh meat and dairy products, worldwide sourced groceries, and amazing deli food! If you havent been to Marvel Food, youre missing out.

I never knew what type of store this was until I stopped and walked in. I was surprised to see it was a Russian Market/Deli. I really enjoyed all the different, unique foods cooked and baked that they offered. I bought quite a lot of food to try. The food was great, tasty and really authentic/fresh! I will return. Good place to visit, friendly customer service from most employees!

Fantastic Russian food store. It’s quite big and is full to the brim with goodness. I drive an hour just for the kalbasi, because they have countless options and all of them are delicious. They also have a wonderful variety of dry and jarred pantry staples (like buckwheat, lingonberry jam, pickled tomatoes, and so on) as well as an array of very fresh produce, and fresh bread and pastries.

Warm fresh baked breads and pastries. Homestyle inexpensive hot meals to go!

Beyond unbelievable how neither employees and customers dont wear masks. I have counted at least 15 people who are either wearing no mask, halfway or dont even care when told to do so. I would not recommend coming here at this time, very unsafe and careless people. Be smarter people.

I was there more because of chance than actual shopping. Waiting for a tow. Its a very nice market. Not many American products. Most look Russian or Eastern European. The shelves are well stocked and the store is clean. The produce is good quality and comparably priced to other specialty markets.

Wife loves this place as it has some things from Europe that she cant get at a regular grocery store. The one in Tacoma is laid out the best and looks to have a rental hall attached for banquets or weddings.

The best European store I have been to. Very clean and organized. Lots of choices of meat, cheese, bakery, fruits, vegetables, and many more. They even have a little corner for brunch. You can buy coffee or tea there and just enjoy the moment. Was mostly impressed with their customer service and organization. I love it. Would come back again for sure.

They have good selections of fresh produce, Russian deli meats, cheeses & smoked fish. Great Russian cakes & delicacies that are fresh and delicious. Weve purchased several of the varieties for birthdays & gatherings. Many tasty Russian treats and candies as well. We appreciate & the kids love that if you spend a certain amount they give you a free coffee or ice cream. Normal shopping pretty much always gets us there.

Mandatory mask law is not being enforced, neither the social distancing. Also, one of their employee used the restroom and did not wash her hands!! I think that is common sense to wash your hands after using a restroom! So disappointing.

A friend of mine who is Russian recommended for his place because we love Piroshki and let me tell you the food is Delicious!!! The price is reasonable they are very polite and friendly.I gave it 4 stars because the parking is not convenient at all but I would recommend this store to everyone.

Went today to pick up a few things. Was disappointed to see that masks were not being enforced. Hardly any customers were wearing masks. No signs requiring masks. This is copied from the state website As of July 7, businesses may not allow customers or visitors to enter or conduct business without wearing a face covering, and must post signage about the required use of face coverings. This business was not in compliance and I wont be back any time soon.

One of the greatest European food stores out there. Very cheap prices. Everything is always fresh. The deli is great. Also has a hot food section where you can eat some very tasty food. All in all you guys did a perfect job.
