Friendly staff/owner. Food is always good and fresh. Their batchoy is amazing and I highly recommend it-even for takeout it’s still taste as good when you get to your destination.
The only Filipino store in the area for some time until another competing Filipino store just opened 5 mins down the street also on Ogden Avenue. The competition will give this store a realization to ramp up the store in cleanliness and catered food quality (too heavy on peppercorns and ratio of vegetables and sauce to meat is too much and taste quality isnt as good as before) as well as lower their prices in order to compete. Want to have a catered Filipino food party? Not here. Their money remittance to the Philippines is also slow and expensive. Customer service is good. Fortunately there is Pinoy Corner down the street that just opened and better.
Been a regular customer since 2008 .. GOOD Food .. the same as the owners Jo and Sha and the staff! If you like Filipino food- THIS IS THE PLACE TO GO! what cha waitin for?! 😉 - Girlie
Super small, tight aisles. Produce fresh and tasty. Has everything you would need.
Quality food. They stock something for everyone. Pricey.
This store has a lot packed into a small space. The staff were friendly and they had cooked food that looked and smelled delicious, but because of allergies we didnt order anything. The only issue to me was that the floor seemed sticky and
I love doing my grocery shopping here. The produce is always fresh and the store is always super clean! You also will never have to wait in a long line at check out!
I love their organic products and their fresh produce. I also like their meat department.
Friendly supermarket, for local residents. Their products are always fresh, clean and reasonable to purchase.
Decent selection, and most importantly, great fresh foods that they make on-site.
Their ready-made food is just the right timpla (seasoned just right) for my taste. Not too salty. Portions are pretty generous.
Friendly service and you can find many options of organic produce and foods
Great customer service. Nice neighborhood store. Staff personalizes your visit - like theyve known you all your life. Thanks for the smiles.
Im new to the area and checked out this Asian store, I was surprised that they sell hot food inside and it was amazing. There was a lady named Lia who has blonde hair who helped me and she knew everything about the food and even had me try some tiny spring rolls which made me buy a lot more than what I was planning to - the bbq pork, turn overs and spring rolls were all amazing. I think the food is made more delicious because of the customer service that the staff has, the whole time I was there it was busy but Lia smiled at everyone and I think she knows them by name. I will definitely come back to this store.
Good place, nice market you find everything that you need fresh products
Tried this place once with my friend and I am hooked ever since. I liked the great vibes and flavorful food and drinks. They never disappoint.
Had to make a return today could not find receipt. I have mperks so was able to look up that way. No problem, credit card was credited in no time.
Found what i was looking for. Great fresh food cooked inside also. I used to come here with my uncle. He was phillipino.
The people are genuinely nice & considerate! Went to the Philippines last summer & was able to not only find stuff to make myself, but they have freshly made dishes that made me feel like I was back in PI!
Convenient store and also sells hot food. Good tasting food
This place reminds me of the stores from my childhood LOL They have the sort of foods and snacks that perhaps only foreigners/frequent travelers would recognize (Milo from Nestle, to name one of them). I usually come here for the taro milk smoothie thing, which is fairly good, and the staff is always very nice when I come in.
Its a smaller store but they carry a variety of things such as sweet breads, mochi, and ramen and noodles for days. They have a hot foods counter with whole fish and other items. I tried the pork with a crunchy skin, it was very yummy. I also ordered the halo halo which is shaved ice with a bunch of red beans, corn cereal, fruit and other ingredients and that was delicious also. The staff are friendly and are willing to help out people that may not know much about Filipino/ Asain foods.
My mom purchases meat and it’s always fresh, we haven’t had a bad experience at all.
The store front will say Asian Found Mart. I like coming here for the small hot bar of ready made Filipino goodies...lechon, egg rolls, pancit, grilled pork belly, etc. They always have fresh made desserts as well. Turon, bilo-bilo, etc. And this place is very clean. I remember growing up and my parents would go to some very stinky places for their Filipino goods. Just go and support this place...its delicious 😋
Great place to eat Filipino food. I hate to cook. So I mainly eat there. Lots of choices of authentic food. Highly recommend !
Lumpia was good, the pancit was pretty good, they had a beef which Id say was steak that my wife liked and a meat and vegetable medley that was also good. The lechon was excellent in my opinion. The skin was very crispy and the pork was very tender. Pretty small grocery store, by the looks of it you may not think their food was good, but its worth a try if u r looking for Filipino food. They have a 2 entree and side meal thats 10 bucks. The lumpia are the shorter ones, maybe 3 inches but I think those were about 30 cents a piece or so. I got about 2 lbs of lechon maybe close to 10 to 15 bucks each I wasnt sure. I spent about 70 bucks and had food for days.
The BEST Filipino food and ingredients in the area. Staff are so nice, food is DELICIOUS!Prices are good, especially considering the take-out selections taste like home cooking. Definitely recommend getting the 2-item combo w/ rice or pansit.
Im FILIPINO so this is an automatic 5 stars :)But hey, in case you happened to be here or planning to...Go with their Half/Half value menu that is: Half Steam White Rice / Half Pansit and your choice of 2 entree.Porks are my GoTo here, Lechon, Paksiw, sinigang, adobo (taba-taba) & sisig...#DeYm, now Im hungry just making this review .... GTG there now ng mabilis :)[
Everyone was friendly and gave good service at the warm fresh foods/cashier areas: esp. Iya with her cool blue hair! She knew the dishes well and I was able to buy many different entrees as a result. The food was excellent, my favorites being the beef nilaga and kare kare. The vegetable eggrolls and chicken empanadas were also delicious! The colorful putos were not only beautiful and cute but tasty and delicious as well. Next time I will return and do some grocery shopping as I didnt have time this evening. Kudos to the cook!
Best place to eat dinuguan. 5 stars
Excellent service all the time. Great food that actually tastes home made.
They were very helpful to my son who was trying to make us a Japanese dish.
Always one of my favorite Filipino two favorites in the greater Chicago area. Highly recommend their hot food.
Looking for a filipino cuisine? This is the place!! foods are tasty..promise!
Havent really looked aroun d the store cuz i always go for food. Really great food, so glad this is close to home. Dont really like the sapin sapin, never had it on a banana leaf, made it taste a bit weird.

This place was filthy and cramped. The prices were a bit too high. I also think I saw someone glare at us as we walked out the door.
