Love this place! So many things to look at and browse through. I want to buy SO MANY things every time I’m there, but since I can’t, there’s always a reason to return.Cozy, cool, clean and organized.This is a great place to spend alone time or time when you just want to relax and browse…Cool stuff, something for everyone.

Love this store!! It is dangerous (to my checkbook 😉) but fun to wander the aisles and find books from childhood, or recommendations from BookTok. They also have great sales and coupons that you can use. Will go back again and again!!

I love shopping here for used books. They always have a huge selection and its organized very well. I enjoy looking thru their other sections as well. Great place to shop for gifts.

The store has quite a mix of products and gift ideas...so long as youre not looking for sporting goods or outdoor rec stuff. There are new items, but much of it is second-hand. I dont go there all the time, but I actually love the place. Theyre pretty organized but its not a glitzy shop. The location is pretty convenient if you live in east Metro and there is plenty of parking.

I kept finding all sorts of treasures from books, games, puzzles, journals, t-shirts, etc. I have to go back.

Love the store part but bringing in items to sell isnt worth the hassle. They offer so little that its not worth it. Next time I have books to get rid of Ill donate them--much faster and just about as profitable, lol. 5 stars for the store, 2 for the buy back.

Kind of disappointing, kind of like a big yard sale.

I discovered this place sort of by accident but I will be going back often. It doesnt look that big from outside but their used book section is about the size of a small library. They have games, movies, musical instruments. I could go on and on. Check it out for yourself. You wont be disappointed.

Generally okay except for the overabundance of funko pop figurines. like, please, its 2021--get rid of those pieces of trash. they take up valuable space that could be better allocated to a larger gaming section.

Love going in here!! They have just s little bit of everything! Some things are priced normal, over priced, and under priced. Just have to find what youre looking for. Everything from Atari games, books, pop vinyls, vinyl records, puzzles.. etc. They have such a wide variety of items its hard to walk away with just one! From horror to anime to arts and crafts books. They have it all!

Great selection of everything! They were having a sale like buy 4 and get 4 free on comics, movies, and some books. Good plan to rotate inventory! We can always find a hidden gem or 2 while were there so its worth taking the time to look around.

This place is nerd heaven and has something for everyone. The book selection is huge and you get a lot for your buck! They have a good video game selection and tons of figures and little I think I need this items. This is one of my all time favorite places to go.

Great selection of almost everything you could want. Lps, dvds, books, games, video games, musical instruments, t-shirts and much much more. Prices are reasonable. If your going to sell to them they dont give much in my experience but a stellar place to go for a variety of great stuff!

Marshall and and the woman (didn’t get her name) made my day. I had left my wallet on a shelf and they actively searched for it and found it for me! Prevented me having a heart attack! This is the friendliest staffed and most awesome store in the Aurora area. I routinely come here and find gems. This place is great!!! I have been there many times. This time they did not have what I was looking for but the staff was so helpful and friendly as always. It is wonderful to have place where you can hold a book or find an actual cd.

Awesome clean location if you want adult books they are great and trinkets but... If you are looking for toddler / kids books good luck. The books are not organized at all some are by the title some are by author everything is mixed up. So finding anything specific isnt doable. My husband and I had a list of 20 books we wanted we couldnt find a single one after asking for help and 1.5 hour searching. The area needs an overhaul. We were also told the inventory list is basically consistently off and doesnt up date

The genre sorting for their books is too stressful. I liked the original sorting method with fiction, non-fiction, fantasy, scifi and childrens now theyve tried to break it down too much. i spent 28 minutes trying to find Mary Shellys Frankenstein which shouldve been in fiction or sci-fi but it wasnt.

First time coming here, my boyfriend really enjoyed the selection and vowed to come back after he got some birthday money.

This place us the best for if you like books and video games there are also lots of D&D things,Lego,Nintendo,and lits of manga this place is for everyone!

Went there looking for 6 CDs with certain songs on them. Found 4 of the 6 which was great, so I dont have to go to Amazon. The people / employees I spoke to at 2nd and Charles were very helpful and friendly!!

Always on the lookout for record stores, hadnt heard of these before and was fairly close. Website says used vinyl; from what I saw this was at least 50/50 new/used. Didnt seem like anyone maintains the inventory; nothing was in alphabetical order, artists werent in front of (or behind) their index tabs. The one used LP that I was considering (difficult for me to leave any new shop with less than 4 or 5) was overpriced by 30 or 40%; and on inspection was all scratched and marred for good measure.This is part of a chain, I hope that the vinyl departments issues were an anomaly. Ill update this review if I find another store to be more worthy of praise.

I could get lost in this store for hours—and I mean that in the best way. Such a wonderful variety of books, albums, movies and more! The staff is so nice and helpful. Each trip here is always an amazing one!

So disappointed in my trip to the store. I came in the morning . I could not find what I was looking for, so I started to look for an employee and could not find one anywhere. I went to the cashier to ask if someone could help me and the guy at the register said maybe this one other guy could help me behind the sell and trade counter but there wasn’t anyone else and “he wasn’t even supposed to be on register but is”. So I went back and kept trying to find what I needed still no luck . Finally the guy got off the register and I went up to him hoping to get help and he said he was helping someone else and it would be a minute. He comes back and asks what I need and he acted like he had no idea, so he said well I can try to look it up and I said great thank you. He comes back and says no luck…. Ok . I go to the register to pay and I ask if the buy 5 get 5 is valid on my purchase and the cashier said she wasn’t sure it was still going on. Ok the special started today! I just wanted to be sure all my books were part of the deal. Than when I looked at her confused she said she doesn’t usually work the registers even if you don’t work the registers you should know the current deals. How frustrating- get staff in there that is familiar with books and authors (common books), ones that are friendly, cross train people and make sure they know about current specials!

Im changing my review due to the ABSOLUTE rip off the buying program is here. One would probably make more money donating items to goodwill than the waste of gas getting here possibly twice to get a cash offer. Ex. 26 T.V. seasons all disks and box in great shape and of varying title, all in which they carry on the shelves...... $6.05. I was told mostly because they dont sell them which is a lie. Ex. Dr Seuss books which they have listed for $200.00 only offer what was it.... $4. I could go on and on but I wont. Just a heads up, maybe find another place to sell which there are some in different areas or just dont waste you gas.

Was super disappointed! :( Everytime we visit, it seems like the buy back counter is always closed. We rushed after work, hauling all of our books (most of them less than two years old), only to find the buyback counter was closed again. I could understand if it was half an hour before they closed. But… it was well before they closed? We were so confused as there were a bunch of guys behind the counter just standing around talking…If we could recommend anything, if the buyback counter has a cut off… please post it on your online storefronts? This way, hopeful and excited customers don’t waste time, gas, and money only to be disappointed.The selection here is great if you like Manga but is lacking in other parts of the store. Since their inventory is never up to date, I definitely recommend the Flat Irons 2nd and Charles twice over. It’s far more organized, things are better priced, and it has a much better selection.The people are also far more friendlier- we will drive out of way (which is waaaay out of the way!) for the sake of consistency, reliability, and selection! :)

This is a very neat store. There is something for everyone. I love that they sells games old and new and their huge selection of movies. My husband and I both love coming here just to look and we almost aways find something we cant leave without.

Great store had a couple hiccups though. My board game was missing a lot of pieces and imo they need a reality check on their vinyl prices

USED books at $0.95 off of NEW price. Rude staff. Don’t even think about going in close to closing time or they will basically verbally kick you out for being there. I’ll buy my books somewhere else.

This place literally pays next to nothing for your items. It’s rather insulting to be honest. You would do better selling your items on a random street corner.

Had to come back another day. No bins for selling them product. They offered $11.00 cash for about 150 cds. I said no. Went home, downloaded declutter app. They offered $23 for about 50 cds, and they pay shipping.

Poor selection of books. Lied to about magazine subscription and was automatically registered and would have been charged without my knowledge if I did not read receipt.

The store is huge and a little overwhelming. However, we ended up spending over 2 hours there and came away with armloads of books!

The discounts they offer at times,for members arent anything worth while (5% for $50 and 10% for $100) but their used book prices are good

Place is amazing from books to movies comics of all kinds and games. For great price as you can see I got all those books buy 5 used books get 5 free. I was thrilled with the deal. More a steal if u ask me. Some books were 2 bucks! And the staff is friendly and awesome

2nd & Charles has an amazing selection of everything pop culture. If your remember tradesmart and liked it you will like 2nd & Charles. They also have mystery boxes 50 CDs or DVDs for 30 dollars.

Really great selection of everything print, not even to mention their selection of music and games. All the better, most of it is used! Navigation is a bit difficult but otherwise great place.

One of my favorite stores in Colorado. Tons of used games. I get a lot of old Playstation 1&2 games from here. They usually have some pretty good used console deals. I picked up a functional N64 with controller here a while back and it still works so they definitely have some good quality control before anything hits their shelves. To the best of my memory, I havent had a single used game not work when purchased from here and Ive got a decent library. Then the books. My word. Books for days. Be it manga, graphic novels, fiction, non fiction, or how to books, this place has full shelves of inexpensive literature with some timely classics all in at least fair condition or better. Im a regular customer and will continue to be so.
