Been going DG ON GALENA west side for over 4 years. Employees old and new are always helpful and happy. Dont see that a lot.

Everytime I go Sandy offers very friendly service. She is very helpful & courteous

This store is very clean and the associates are very nice if you ask questions they answer if you cant find it they show you

#dollargeneral Hello... Just got thrown out of your store on Galen Blvd right next door to McDonalds. Galen Blvd. and Locust in Aurora, Illinois. Counter Help refused to Ring my husband and I up over lack of Mask! We both have Medical Issues which cause Distressed Breathing if normal flow lessened by Mask use. This DG employee went as far as to ask for Medical Paperwork which is against HIPPA laws. She singled me out as my Husbands Condition is more viewable. She would not take Money and voided transactions as we offered to Contact Dollar General Corporate! No other place have ever asked us. All they said we have to take customer word. Shame on you!

Ive always gotten good friendly service, food is good with many menu options as well.

Always have lots of options, the employees seem nice and helpful. It can get messy but its the clients that create it not the employees. They are also careful and they wear their masks.

There is tons of garbage right outside the door. Its really disgusting. When I asked the cashier about it he said I wish customers would stop commenting about the garbage, because we are not allowed to pick up the garbage.

This store was a complete disaster 😩. The isles you could barely walk down. It looked like garbage. And the staff was not friendly or helpful. I will not be returning!

A lady got suspended for a few days after getting an attitude thought to my rejecting her, she went to the back of the store, kicked and threw things around and got told on by her co-worker. Nice place to shop for cheap items but, the staff harasses the hell out of you when your young, black, female and cute. I try to avoid certain shifts and if I had a car, I probably avoid this place completely.

I thought the store layout was really strangely setup. And their were piles of boxes in the isles obviously full of product that needed to be put on the shelves.

I just wish the store was bigger. The building is small so the merchandise is crammed on top of each other, which makes it hard to find what youre looking for. However, the customer service is GREAT!!

This location is not the most tidy and organized, but the staff is friendly and helpful and they continue to expand there food section. Convenient when you need something right away.

I love Dollar General, great prices on everyday things I need. The digital coupon system needs some work tho. Many times when I go into app and select coupons, then buy the exact item. it is not correctly discounted at register. The $5 off your purchase on Saturday, which I always select, gets missed at register alot of times. If you shop in this place, check your receipt before you leave.

This place was near my home & have weekly sales on items I may need or want @ a reasonable price.

Went there for chips and soda for our cook out...associate was friendly but the store seems dirty and unorganized. The parking lot is full of trash and not very well maintained. I may go to dollar store out of town where they are cleaner and better taken care of. I like saving money but I dont like shopping in dirty stores....bottom line

I love going here. They are always nice and treat you with respect. It is always nice to go where they treat you like they enjoy seeing you.

I have been coming to this location for years now. The staff is always friendly and this small place has quiet a large variety for anything you need in a hurry. Stil a great place to shop
