If you want great customer service and a welcoming staff DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION ON LAKE ST in AURORA. Not only was my family and I laughed at by the staff today we were completely ignored. When I finally talked to an employee after 10 min of waiting we were laughed at again and she followed up with a super sarcastic rude response. I live close to this location and I will make sure I drive elsewhere so I can spend my money where I am valued as a person with employees who care. THe owner and manager should be ashamed of the staff that they have hired.

Pretty much exactly what you expect, and that’s a good thing. The pricing is super reasonable, and the ice cream treats are delicious. There’s no real food options and no seating, but they are open year-round and always a good special treat.

They were giving us attitude, you can see it in their eyes. They slammed the window. Also, they didn’t say “have a Dairy Queen night”. My kids watched as I was humiliated.

Most chain store locations dont serve ..but this ine kept it!..yum

I understand that it is winter so it has to be a bit cold in this little DQ but one of my group stood at the window outside for 10-15 minutes and no one came to take his order. But the ice cream we got from the drive thru was good.

Sunday April 19 around 3pm i walked to this location with my daughter and seen a sign in the window saying that they are only taking orders at the drive thru. So, i walked thru the drive thru and was standing there for about 2 minutes before a young employee came out the backdoor to tell me they could not serve me. I then said to her that the sign needed to be more specific. Dairy queen is only serving customers who are in vehicles. She then laughed at me and said i think its pretty obvious as i walked away with my very upset young daughter. I think the situation could have been handled way better and i should not have been made to feel so bad when i was only trying to get a treat for my kid . Thanks alot.

This is a walk up or drive thru DQ, there is no dining area. I walked with my kids and grandbaby to get som ice cream and when we got to the window we were told no mask no service. It is completely outside! The workers then told me if we go thru the drive thru we dont need a mask. WHAT?

If I could give the location negative stars I would.One because they dont accept Dairy Queen gift cards. WAY TO ROB ME OF MY GIFT.Two because they are a rip off compared to Dairy Delight.

I’m happy with this Dairy Queen, my experience was the dopest.The Man at the window was the illest and super accommodating.All I’m saying is you best hope he forgets to put oreo’s in your Georgia mud fudge. If you know what i mean, all in all, very good peoples.

Royal strawberry cheesecake blizzard!

I usually dont have an issue with the quality of ice-cream at this location, and they usually get things out pretty quickly,but sometimes the order in which things are prepared can be adjusted. I walked to this location and ordered two blizzards, two novelty items and a large chocolate cone. The cone is the second thing that was prepared. By the time all the other items were made, the cone was melting all over the place. Blizzards should be make first since they have to be mixed. Anything in a cup or container, cold sauces first than hot, should follow and cones should be the last! I dont understand why it would be any other way. By the time the person that ordered the cone got it, it was a huge mess, not to mention a loss of product. And Im sorry, I dont have money to just throw away. I guess next time I am going to have to specify that they make the cone last.

Love this place! I usually get the Blizzards & one of the sales associates informed me of the buy 5, get one free cards. Yes! I love it! I just filled up my 1st card.

A small NY Cheesecake Royal Blizzard will set you back about $4.59, or $5.09 at this location. They charged an extra $0.50 for add whip. What is that? Maybe they asked if I wanted whip cream and I didnt realize it was extra. Another time I came here to claim my BOGO blizzard coupon, but they hit the wrong button and I ended up paying a little extra. You really have to check your bill at this location.But, getting back to the NY Cheesecake Royal Blizzard - its sweet, its got a little strawberry, and the cheesecake bites are creamy and rich. This location does not have any food items other than the frozen treats. There is a few seats available outside of this Dairy Queen.

Very odd service. I stood at the window for 10 mins. Knocked on the window, no one answered. I saw the staff texting. Another kept wiping down the fridge units. Went to drive up and to get her attention. She asked me to walk back around the building and wait there for her. Seriously? When i finally orderd, I was over charged. Smh. Its like the twlight zone-

My kids love this location. The staff is very cool and they do not short you at all on the famous Blizzards.
