Visited this location to try something new, I had 4 steak tacos. The tacos were pretty good.Price for food & portions were great! Service was great. Our server Jesse was very nice! Overall everything was great! Will be coming again very soon!

Today I had tacos al pastor and my boys had de asada with refried beans and rice. They have three hot sauces that go very well with the tacos. The horchata taste sweet and is refreshing. Eating area is clean and their service is friendly and fast. Just one problem.. no prices until you pay your bill at the register. Overall its ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Affordable Mexican food and a margarita. All boxes checked here! 5 dollar margaritas were very good, not weak at all as some have posted. The food is very good and priced very reasonably. My wifes small burrito was as big as many places standard sized. The hard shell tacos were very good. Service was excellent. Will be back the next time a hankering for Mexican kicks in!

Would have been 4 stars as the food was good. But the lack of menus and the no prices anywhere, not even receiving a bill. Upon checking out, they ring up on the register what you had and then tell you the price. Will not be going back for that reason.

Basic options but generous portions and very delicious. Authentic flavor. Friendly and casual atmosphere.

Just an fyi, I gave it 2 starts because I ordered from them through a delivery service. I ordered chicken nachos for my daughter and added a note to remove 3 items from the description. They did not and I got a soupy mess. I ordered chicken Dorados and received beef. I dont order their beef items because its so tough. I literally choked one day at their restaurant because of it. Whats the point of adding a note if youre not going to read it. Totally disappointed.

No prices on menus nor do you get the bill until your at register. Servers were not attentive at all. We were a table of 3. 1 order was served, other was wrong had to wait 15 minutes for correct order & eventually 3 plate was prepared. Beans tasted like they were from can. I wont ever go there! 🤬

My wife and I love this place!! Its not fine dining, but the food is delicious, the service is fast, and the price is right. The meals come with their red and green sauce, but the salsa with the side of chips is so tasty. We love their guac. And their guac bar has quite the selection including roasted jalapenos and grilled onions. Obviously others like it too because most tables are full during meal times.

I will say they have quick, friendly service. Aurora is full of places to get tacos. This food is underwhelming. The portion size inside of the taco is small. The horchata tastes like water. Probably wouldnt come back, just because there are many other better options

Highly recommend this place for authentic Mexican food. Don’t let the nondescript look and feel of the place fool you, their food is excellent and flavourful. It’s gets pretty busy on weekends though. A few callouts: they have parking at the backside, you need to pay at the counter once you are done, and lastly they don’t serve complimentary chips and salsa, however they more than make up for that by having a complimentary salad bar with guacamole. All the best exploring this spot!

Me personally, I wont go there any more . Service was good, waitress was attentive and made sure everything is ok . Guy that replaced her was super nice as well . Food tasted pretty good, but the amount of it its like a kids meal . Seriously, I didnt feel like Im getting what Im paying for and in Aurora to be good when it comes to Mexican food - you have to be exceptional . Maybe Im just a spoiled customer, but I can get a better authentic Mexican for the better value somewhere place else in Aurora ...

Weve gone there about 30 times over the last 10 years. Good prices, good food, authentic Mexican food and place, like a trip to Mexico. The weakest part is the service. The servers are fine but their system is bad, nobody is responsible to the customer. There is a saying that if everybody is responsible, nobody is responsible and that is a systemic problem with their service. Despite that, overall l give it 5 stars. Go there!

We drove all the way to Aurora to try this restaurant. The parking lot is small. The moment we entered the restaurant, it was full with the locals and we knew it was authentic Mexican restaurant. The food selections are great. Delicious Mexican food. I had tacos Dorados (fried tacos kinda like flautas) with shredded beef that were to die for and their rice and beans were good. Prices werent bad either. Only reason it gets a four is the parking....very crowded and tight spaces.

They have such a good margarita deal. I like steak tacos here, it was delicious but I wish the server let us know that they have some topping and salsa available on the table for us.

Highly recommend! This place is amazing the food is good and It has good prices. Only down fall is that the tacos tortilla size is a bit smaller than the standard size but they are still good.

We like coming here when were on our way to the casino. Their food is good, fresh and tasty. Its typical Mexican fare. They do have a couple of specialties and we have asked for them. The tacos dorados are ok. Cant really complain. Super cheap and decent. There is a private parking lot and really close to the casino. Fits our needs.

Being there today 3/8/21. food was amazing. fries with meat yum yum. fajitas was super delicious. so glad we try this place. will be back. Keep up the good work.

Gave them a chance last year, steak taco wherent that good. Tried them again recently, was very bland. Was told order would be ready in 15, took over 1/2 hour for an order of tacos and chips. Location off Lake st and New York.

We like coming here when were on our way to the casino. Their food is good, fresh and tasty. Its typical Mexican fare. They do have a couple of specialties and we have asked for them. The tacos dorados are ok. Cant really complain. Super cheap and decent. There is a private parking lot and really close to the casino.

Sunday at noon was the time and day of our trip to this restaurant. The place was full but not packed. Service was decent however, we were given no instructions as to payment so we waited for quite some time before deciding to pay at the cashier. We were told that we were correct about paying there.For our meals, we had menudo and two gorditas. One gordita of rajas and the other of chicharron. The menudo was pretty good, portion size even for the small bowl was quite large. The rajas gordita was tasty. The chicharron gordita needed to be more spicy and a tad less salty. For some reason, I thought it may not have been from a fresh batch. It also neeeded a compliment such as cabbage and sour cream. Overall though, not bad.We also had coffee which was surprisingly good.Finally, we tried a michelada made with Modelo beer. The michelada was very good.The atmosphere was friendly but very loud though, music by the kitchen and noise everywhere else.To sum up, I think this restaurant is worth another visit to try some of the dinner items. Decent experience for the first visit.

Great place to cater with excellent service!! We ordered food for 25 people and swear there was enough to feed 50. Everything was ready on time and extra delicious. We will definitely be ordering again.

My adult daughter and I stopped in here at the end of Auroras first Friday events. The place was crowed which is always a good sign. My first time here so I was curious. They had a great menu and the prices were amazing compared to other places. We ordered our food to go and even though it was busy the wait was not long. We took our food home and completely enjoy it. We had the fried tacos and regular tacos along with chips and salsa. We will go back for sure.

This location was very busy with take out orders when I arrived. The portion sizes are amazing and the food is delicious. The server was friendly and the atmosphere was vibrant. Good music.

Love it best food in town an great service

Went in for dinner with my kids..first time in since the pandemic started..we sat down at a booth..after 20 minutes of waiting for a server, a employee approached us without greeting us and with an attitude telling us to order in the front of the restaurant..well how where we suppose to know that? How are we reserve a table if we have to order first at front? There no sign anywhere sayin that customers have to order in front anf then sit down. We were so disappointed in the bad service we just left..we will never come back to this place again. I hope the owner reads this and at least tells his employees not give bad attitude to his customers. To the owner: Been coming here for years. The disrespectful manner from your bald guy up front made sure you will never see any of my money spent in your restaurant

Ive been to your establishment many times and have been very satisfied. This last time was unacceptable I cant get a strawberry daiquiri all we have no rum.. the server said I could get a strawberry margarita, I didnt want a margarita I wanted a strawberry daiquiri. The gentleman says they have no rum.. but he can offer me a pina colada.. pina colada has rum in it why couldnt I get a daiquiri daiquiri has rum. Daiquiri and margaritas are pretty much the same except for what alcohol you put in them.. and Ive gotten daiquiris many many times from your establishment.. and the quesadillas dont come with anything its just a quesadilla you dont get salsa you dont get sour cream you dont get guacamole you get nothing what is that come on..

Good experience with English speaking waiter. Must try Pollo meat either in tacos or quesadillas. Fresh and strong Margaritas,Mojitos. Spicy salsa with a nice zing, Slightly better than close by Jalisco tacos shop. I would recommend taking food to go. The establishment is small and not very nice or super clean.

Good food great price. So many around but as long as they keep cooking the way they do theyll stay above most around.

This is probably my favor Mexican restaurant in the area. Had steak tacos and a chicken sope. Lots of steak and they were hot and fresh. Chicken sope was hugh and very tasty. Margaritas were great. And not real limey. Most restaurants cannot make them like I like them. Chips and salsa were great.

They took 30 minutes to take our order while there was barely customers.

I ordered 7 items from this place through grub hub and only 2 items were delivered. I tried calling the restaurant but was hung up on. I will not be ordering from here again.

Outstanding food and costumer service. This is the only Mexican restaurant in Aurora that has never disappointed. Today there was a misunderstanding between me and the young man who took my order over the phone. He was very polite and willing to fix my order at no charge for the mistake even after I apologized when I realized I had also made a mistake in my order. He was very gracious.

I recently ordered from them. The steak was burned and tasted bitter, at least the over cooked part. Didnt enjoy my meal at all.

Heart of downtown. We drove past and it looked like there was nobody in the place. Big parking lots in the back. Very popular and for good reason. The food was very good, the Margaritas were fantastic!! The prices were very reasonable for what we had. The dining room is a little worn, but that is probably because there are so many people coming to this great place. We did not know the system to pay. They take your order, and when you are done, you go up to the cash register to pay. They have your bill up there. We will go back.

Nice place to grab a quick bite for lunch or a late lunch. I have eaten at the High Street and newer Lake Street locations. Good is consistent and tasty. Beer is served at the Lake Street location. Prices are fairly inexpensive for what you get. Good comes out pretty fast, too! This is a very nice restaurant they have delicious food reasonable prices services is excellent and also this place is clean definitely coming back. Highly recommend for lunch.

Worst place ever! To start they don’t even offer you chips or anything to start with! My guys and me asked for a michelada. It look like tomate water!!! And the taste was just Clamato with water, no beer taste! Staff not friendly at all!!! I don’t recommend this place to one!!!

Pretty good food. I had the skirt steak dinner and it was great. The only bad is that all (including the self serve guacamole) the sauces were very spicy. I wasnt able to add them on my plate. But other than that the service and food was great!

Man, I tell you what. These guys have earned my business. On May 5th taco Tuesday, they were busy beyond belief. Waited 45 minutes for our food. Went home and stuff was missing. Went back up and they offered to replace the whole order so we can all eat hot fresh food. Thats customer service at its finest. Thank you.

Everything is delicious! This is authentic Mexican food. They dont serve chips and salsa at the table, instead, as you come in youre greeted by a selection of cucumbers, radishes, salsa verde, sauteed onions and roasted jalapenos that you help yourself to for you and your table. Tacos are prepared with either cilantro and onion (I think traditional Mexican) or lettuce and cheese (American way). Frejoles and rice are delicious and plentiful. Prices are very competitive. If youre in the area and you like Mexican food, try it. Youll like it.

The food here is excellent they do work very hard to make this place a great experience. My wife and I frequent this place regularly and have not been disappointed one time. My go to is the steak burrito. So good! The green sauce at the self serve buffet is fantastic.

Their steak tacos are really good. The food comes out fresh and hot. They also give u a lot of fries and theyre also hot and fresh. They have good customer service and their food comes out fast. Highly recommended and the prices are very reasonable.

Great prices and flavor. Just watch out for that fat on the steak tacos. Not always a problem but it does happen.

My friend said this place was good apparently he is not a liar! It definitely seems authentic and it is insanely delicious with tacos for a dollar fifty how could you eat anywhere else in Aurora? Everything tasted fresh and was in good proportion. I want to go back already and Im just pulling out of the parking lot!

Food was excellent, wait staff friendly, service was very quick and efficient. My daughter and I will definitely return to have authentic Mexican food. And the portions were large, too. And the prices were very, very reasonable. What more can I say, except that I would definitely rate the restaurant a 10 if I could. I had the steak fajitas and the meat was very tender and flavorful. Must try!

I had 9 steak tacos, 2 steak gorditas, 1 steak tortas, 1 chicken tortas. They were all by far the best in the area and my favorite was the chicken OMG perfect!!!!!!

The best little taco shop in town, and that is no small feat in Aurora. We like everything we’ve had there, but the taco Dorado are my favorite. Good for takeout or dine in experience. What are you waiting for?

The food is second-to-none! The drinks are the best around. The service is wonderful. This is the best Mexican restaurant outside of Chicago and truly inside of Chicago. It doesnt get any better than this. The price point is phenomenal.
