This is my first time renting a truck and probably the last with uhaul.I was supposed to pick up my truck TT 4320 E on 10/08/2021 at 8:30pm(which I made it on time), for my horrible surprise that the truck was blocked by 4 more trucks and couldn’t pick it up.This changed drastically my entire moving plans, because of you uhaul? That is the service you give for a $240 service bill?

Don’t use the Scan and Go feature on the U-Haul App or an employee will basically accuse you of stealing and then have you show them proof because “no one ever uses it.” Whomever owns this location you need to provide better training or turn that Scan and Go feature off for this location because your employees despite knowing it is a useable feature believe that no one uses it and that people need to steal $10 packing paper. *Edited to finish thought

We were quoted for $374 to get a hitch for our Subaru. When we arrived for our appointment they werent ready and were still picking up parts and told us they were going to be running late. The installer seemed to do a great job but service was poor from the front desk. When I got the bill it was $660. How in the world did the install jump $200? I witnessed several (at least 4) unhappy customers walk in and out in the 20 minutes I was there. I dont think it was just this store but uhual in general is not the same company it used to be.

This was by far the worst U-haul experience I have ever had. They charged me and extra 40 dollars for gas and the gas tank was left the same way I found it. The management was also terrible I’m pretty sure the guy was drinking prior to me dropping the truck off. Not only that they let me leave the lot with a broken mirror and I told them about this before I left the lot. Overall avoid going to the U-haul 750 S Buckley Rd they will just rob you.

Called ahead to ensure that they had propane. Had to wait more than 10 minutes on hold for a clerk to answer the phone. They confirmed that they had propane. Arrived at their store an hour later only to be told they were out of propane. The manager explained that he had just filled a tank in the past hour and that his bulk tank was now empty. What an incredible coincidence. That story is had to believe but Ill give him the benefit of the doubt and take his word for it. He didnt even offer an apology. At the very least its very poor inventory control to run out of propane.

This uhual place is horriblee. The associate yesterday gave us the wrong truck after we told her two times that this wasn’t our truck. We did the link through our phone and tried to change the miles. It said we couldn’t change the mileage in which we called the store and waited 45 minutes before we hung up. The next morning to drop it off we began to get lectured by Robert for no reason after we repeatedly told him that we told the associate plenty times and waited 45 min to even speak to someone. I will never be at this location as the one on havannah is ran properly. This is by far the worst uhual place I have ever been to. I will never be back and I hope Robert gets some training. Don’t escalate the situation after putting your hand up telling someone to be quiet cause ittl definitely make someone get louder. If you are the general manager you need to be replaced immediately and have better training.

This location has the worst customer service of all time, they have 2 employees on a Saturday to manage 50 plus customers, I waiting over 90 minutes to get a propane tank filled and the employee helped me for a minute than said he would meet me inside and then never showed up, I tracked him down and said what the heck is going on you said you would meet me inside and you never show up, short story I left and got the heck out of there, will never go back to that location for any service.

We believe the primary responsibility of U-Haul is to develop products and services to help people move and store their household and commercial goods in an economically, environmentally and socially responsible manner.Initially, we only needed the truck and planned to store our things elsewhere. We didnt intend to use the storage service here, but the associate we spoke with persueded us to give it a try, offering us a free month and then only $81 dollars thereafter. It sounded like a pretty good deal so we agreed.After arriving in person however, the unit we had been talked into was unavailable and the only one we could secure while we were sitting in the parking lot was a 5*10 unit costing $117.90, a stretch from that $81 quote we had received. While we were storing our things, some equipment that is necessary for my job were placed in the unit. Admittedly, thats my fault, however it left me unable to work and earn any further income. Today we stopped in to get said equipment so I could go to work and make the money needed to pay this bill, now $117 that we werent aware we were going to have to pay, to find that we are locked out of the unit with the manager refusing to work anything out with us.The reason I quoted their mission statement is this: how is leveraging someones possessions, specifically those necessary to ones occupation- to the point that they become so unable to pay that those items end up in a land-fill- rather than with the owner- environmentally, socially, or economically responsible? And how is using deception, plain dishonestly, or sideways salesmanship in any way staying true to that mission statement?I have other complaints but no one wants to read about double charging us on the u-haul so Ill leave it at that. As for the rating I did give it two stars. Had we actually known up front what the cost was we likely still would have ended up choosing to store with u-haul, it isnt so unreasonable. But customers I think should be told what to expect from the beginning to avoid these kinds of mistakes and possibly, like us, avoid losing most or all of their belongings.You can do better than this u-haul,-A disappointed customer, at the u-haul Buckly road location, Denver.

My rental went smoothly. I missed his name, but the front desk guy was calm and friendly, and Chris, who hooked the trailer to our truck, was super nice and fast. No issues with lights or hitch.Make sure you have someone available to be your secondary contact; theyll give that person a call (so it can be someone with you; I just happened to pick up the trailer alone).Also, budget some time. The process took about 35 minutes, mostly because only one checkout line was open (either Covid related or just not enough staff). Three people were ahead of me at 8am on a Thursday, and three more came in shortly thereafter, so the line got long quickly.

Horrible! Came in to get a trailer hitch installed only to find out they didn’t have the parts or the installer. On top of that the general manager couldn’t get his system to refund our down payment we had paid. Luckily another uhaul location I called could take care of the refund for us. Stay away from this place!

Reserved a vehicle hauling trailer a couple days in advance. Stand in line close to an hour just to hear that they don’t have a trailer. Fine, I’ll take the vehicle dolly. I rented the dolly at this same location a little over a month before. Another 15 minutes goes by as they have to re-enter all the information back into their computers. Manager has to go out and look at my hitch on the truck. Fine whatever. He screws around under my truck for a good five minutes. We go back inside and they screw around on computers for another 15 minutes. Finally give me a rental contract. I get to the dolly and the wiring harness is crushed. Won’t work. I go back inside. Waste another 15 minutes screwing around on computers. Give me another contact for a different dolly. Lights on this dolly won’t work. Clown grabs a light tester and has no idea how to use it. Tells me it’s my truck that has the issue. I pull trailers all the time. I have never had any issues. I tell them I want another dolly. They hem and haw a bit and I finally tell them that this is BS and I won’t ever be back. This location ran smooth as silk the month earlier. They have new management now and it’s a total SH$TSHOW. Avoid if you don’t want to waste hours of your life.

I reserved a car dolly from this location. I was told they had none in stock. And that the day before I required the car dolly I would receive a call after 6:00 p.m. telling me where I needed to pick it up from. That didnt happen. I received a phone call on the day I required the car dolly and was told that I needed to get there within the next hour and 15 minutes because they were going to close. To put it mildly I am very disappointed in their customer service.

Absolute worst moving experience all do to Uhaul and their mess up. We were supposed to have a 26ft truck for our move from CO to TX. We show up and all they have is a 20ft truck, they said WE could go pick one up 3 hours away!! We had movers coming in an hour and had no time to drive 6 hours. We then had to pay for a junk removal company to get rid of the stuff that did not make it in our truck. We paid hundreds for the junk removal and lost about $1,000 in items we had to leave. I have been calling and email uhaul once a week since mid October and nothing has been done. They keep trying to get me in contact with the GM Robert Estrada and still have no heard a thing from him. Had we had our 26ft truck this move would have been a breeze! But this move was so stressful because of their mess up. I DO NOT recommend going to this uhaul location or any for that matter. We have used uhaul about 7 times over the last 9 years and will never use them again. Y’all lost some dang good customers cause we move a lot.

Went in to drop off my car for a hitch installation. There was one person on the counter training a new employee. After signing everything and giving them my keys we walked outside to look at my car. The person helping us forgot my keys then left we waited 30 min in the parking lot. I had to go back and remind them we were here. Then they say oh your still here sorry we don’t have the parts. So I waited for nothing. Very unprofessional, the staff were all wearing there masks around there necks even when close to people. Would not recommend this place or would I go back

Arrived on a Saturday even to get a propane tank filled. Was a line at the fill station already. Went in to the store to try to get help, was told by the woman at the desk she was the only person who could do that and would be out in 10 minutes. Rather than get another employee to help at the desk, so she could fill thanks. Waited a half hour more while watching customers who arrived after me take care of their business and leave. During the same time watched two employees come out for their smoke break. Finally gave up

THE MOST TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE WITH THIS PEOPLE! Don’t rent from them. I reserved a uhaul for Sunday June 28,2020 at 7am and I reserved it for 4 hours and I had an emergency come up and I needed it longer. When I called the lady that answered was the rudest person ever, she said no that she needed it by 12 or I would be facing severe consequences whatever that means. Anyways I went through a tough time to get it there by 12 and now she’s calling me at 2:30 that she can’t find the keys and acting like I’m lying about leaving them in the key box. I will be putting a complaint about this individual.

I was late on my payment and was able to pay fees and make the account current. The bill was paid a week ago and now im trying to access my unit and it still has a dead bolt on it and I cannot access my unit until they remove the lock. I am now having to wait 30-45mins for someone to remove a lock off my PAID unit to retrieve my items. If an account is made current it should not take a week to remove the lock.

When I arrived, I had a text from U-Haul that said proceed directly to the truck. I went to the truck, the keys were in it, the door was open, and the truck was warmed up. I Followed the directions to dispatch the truck on my phone, and I got through all the steps, and then it hung up. I sat there for about 10 minutes waiting, and tried to chat with a representative. When I could not reach a representative, I simply concluded that the dispatch has been completed. I took the truck. I got a call an hour later saying I needed to bring the truck back immediately or I will be reported as having stolen the truck (Absolutely unacceptable behavior by the uhaul rep). I had to stop my moving crew and take the truck back to U-Haul so that they could dispatch it correctly. They did not look at the truck, they did not look at my drivers license, they could have done everything over the phone. I incurred extreme inconvenience because they were unwilling to do what was right for the customer and frankly was attacked over the phone by the insults rep. I was 4 miles away. They could have even come to me. I have never been so inconvenienced or treated so poorly by a company. I will never use uhaul again.

Good service! They readily changed the time when the time I reserved the trailer turned out to be wrong. When we arrived there., we discovered that the thieves who stole our hitch had also clipped the wires, a kind employee repaired it for us and didnt charge us. I called to ask about hitch installation before a big move, was quoted a price. A week before my move went to find out about dropping my car, i was told a totally different higher price and that cos of the type of car i have it would take up to 7 hours!! I didnt believe it, I called another u-haul location and was quoted the original lower price, i went to the one on Havanna and got excellent service as well as my car back before 2 hours! Looks like the staff at this location do not want to do much work, but i did end up hiring a trailer from this location and the guy who hooked it up gave good service!

Rent constantly from uhaul this place is where we go when our regular spot at Murphy Creek Storage is out of trucks and theyve been helpful to us and helped us whenever we needed it. Employees are swamped so they do work in an effective manner, which may seem rude but their just busy and trying to get people what they need. Manager was excellent n helped us get a truck when there was none left!

Pretty pricey and the truck was kind of junky and slow but it got the job done and the dollies worked great. I didnt like getting charged extra for gas but luckily I didnt have far to drive. Reserved a 20 truck and was given a 15 truck. Received the rental at a 1/4 tank amd returned it just below. Was charged 43.50 for them to put in 3 gallons of gas. To my surprise they not only had a truck. They have an amazing amazing staff of professionals and down to earth everday people! My family and I recently moved from Maine to Colorado in February and ran into a snow storm near the Great Lakes area and another in Kansas. We decided it would safer to stay at a hotel for an extra day rather than try and drive the truck while hauling a car trailer and having my wife and kids following in another vehicle. I called the U-Haul branch to extend our reservation accordingly and while on the phone they also signed us up for some storage. A few days later I received a voicemail asking why the truck hadn’t been dropped off yet and that they had rented it out to someone else. The guy I had spoken with previously had apparently failed to change the reservation like I had asked. I spent an hour on the phone and spoke with 4 different people, 3 of which were extremely rude and disrespectful. None of the reps wanted to deal with the problem they created and instead made it seem like it was our fault. Terrible customer service. If I treated customers like that, I wouldn’t have a job anymore.

Not a single employee had decent enough customer service skills to be working in a customer service field. Nobody smiled, gave eye contact or returned a hello or gave any kind of greeting whatsoever. We were the only 2 customers that walked in and were treated as if we interrupted them from something important, when in reality they were sitting around on their phones in the lobby.I’m not one to write any type of reviews, but for a $1,700 bill, being misinformed on the rental contract, not having our car secured properly on the trailer (we had to do it ourselves at a gas station out of state/side of a snowy highway) and dealing with rotten attitudes from both the pickup/dropoff offices... we expected so much more from a company that’s so well known.Next time we are going with Penske...Get it together Uhaul!!

Uhaul let me downOur family has used uhaul for decades whenever we needed to move. Because of horrible customer service we will NEVER use Uhaul again. When dealing with concerns, a simple I apologize you feel this way, ok we will look into this further would suffice. Before things made sense with billing. The receipt matched the debit from my account. When someone ask for clarification, be patient and explain it. If there is a valid concern, help to disseminate the information clearly with respect and empathy. By dismissing a customer, it leaves a feeling of dissatisfaction and hurt. Especially when a company has been trusted so long. I and others who have had simular experiences as mine will never use uhaul again. I will say to excercise caution now when using this uhaul. I dont know if it is new management but it totally is not the same. Customer service just doesnt care or value the customer.

On June 17, 2019 my car was parked in the parking lot and was hit by a U-Haul truck driven by a U-Haul employee the manager of this store told me they would pay for the damages this is the end of August their insurance company rep West has not paid is not returning phone calls and I have gotten very poor service. BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE!! Visited on Thursday for propane. Propane was out of service. Called Friday morning and was told it was working and was quoted the per gallon price. I asked to confirm because it wasnt working the day before. Yes its working. Drove over a second time. Waited too long at the fill station. I went inside to get help and was told by the owner, Justin, that they were out. I said that I just called and was told it was working. No Im sorry for inconvenicing youor sorry we miss informed you. Scheduled an 1130 hitch install and they didnt finish until 4 because others were ahead of me. I dont understand why they take reservations if they cant keep them. The owner seemed apathetic to the fact that several of us had been waiting well beyond the expected install time.
