I couldn’t have had a better experience with my first-time boat purchase! Roger and Holly thoroughly explained everything along the way, and helped me navigate through the entire process with ease. Roger gave solid advice on what to buy and what wasn’t necessary while outfitting my beautiful new pontoon. Everyone in the shop was helpful, too….I highly recommend West Marine!

The folks who work at the Austin West Marine, June 23, 2021, are rude, snobbish in nature, and far less than worthless.I asked for several items for our 20 Whaler Outrage, specific items....They just shrugged, said we dont have that, or that or I just plain I dont know....And I wandered the store and found the items myself. Since everything in West Marine is FULL LIST price or higher, I expect a tad of service.

Very helpful staff. Great selection of gear for your boating needs. Both power and sailboat supplies. I was able to get a fuel primer bulb here. Decent selection of clothing for outerwear. No real selection of casual clothing. Prices are very reasonable and its local versus online.

The staff is great and very knowledgeable. Thanks for helping make my Christmas gift special!

Guess Im spoiled by the larger, well stocked coastal WM locations. This is a convenience store size/stock West Marine with 1-2 friendly staffers. Contrary to an earlier review, they are open for business. They did have the essentials we needed, but not much else. Nothing wrong, just not the large array of inspiring items Im used to finding in West Marine--smaller/different market? Just to get out of the house, the hour drive was worthwhile.

My go-to for Marine supplies in North Austin, RR, Cedar Park area. Reasonable selection and pricing considering everything Marine has a price premium. Some staff are knowledgeable.

Good place did not have lithium ion batteries but still had a wide variety of fishing and boating gear

Friendly service and great advice. They can get you on the right track for most boating or marine needs. They also stock most items for normal boating maintenance. Sometimes that have a few clothing items on sale at fairly deep discounts too. This is a small store though and some expensive items may be better to look for at the larger competitors.

Due to low sales, The business is Permanently closed. It was a good location when open. Though they did take to long to close, needlessly risking the lives of employees, and the public at large.They should close all locations across the country because the are by no means an essential business.

Vicki was awesome, friendly, funny and extremely helpful. Got me what I needed with a smile. Only draw back is that I had to drive all the way from San Antonio to Austin for a store. They shut down the one in San Antonio. What do people do in that area for their marine/boat/water needs?

Went here as they are advertised as a kayak store online. They had two. Seemed like a good place for boating accessories however.

West Marine rocks! That simple. I do wish they had a bigger store and a bit more selection.

The staff knows their inventory and how to use it. The are helpful. In my opinion the store is well stocked and I keep coming back. West Marines catalog contains far more than any retail outlet so if they don;t have what one is looking for, they can get it.

Vickie is a great help with all my boating needs. I’m always surprised at what they have in stock there and I always find a little somethings my extra or that I’d forgotten to pickup. Great store and great staff!

Silvio was TOP NOTCH. He knows his stuff and helped me figure things out with my trolling motor. To me he went above and beyond. He just took it as another day at West Marine. Thanks again Silvio.

The staff here are very knowledgeable about voting and supplies and fixing boat fiberglass type stuff and resin very surprised and what a great selection to choose from kind of pricey though

I was struggling with returning a bucket of poxy. We called right before they closed and Vickie gave us her name personally to speak with first thing in the morning. When we arrived the next day, Vickie did everything she could to go above and beyond for us. She made our day! Thank you again for the amazing service!

The manager helped me find everything I needed. I was even able to get some hard to find parts order through West Marine straight from the supplier.

A little expensive but great customer service and variety

Watched an employee put the last of a stocked item on hold for someone they were on the phone with after I inquired about and showed interest in purchasing. What happened to first come first serve? And what if the other person doesnt even show up? No wonder ecommerce is taking over.

They usually have what I’m looking for in a hurry, a little overpriced... but they will price match with amazon which makes up for it.

Showed up at 11 am on a Tuesday and store was closed. I watched about 10 people come and go. Hung out for about 30 minutes since I drove an hour in.
