I came in with the exhaust bellows off. I talked to Hunter in Customer Service. He looked at it and went and got Kevin the tech and before I knew it Kevin easily put it back on and showed me how he did it.......all with NO CHARGE!WOW thats true customer service. Mike Kern has a great staff and he does a Great job!!...Keep it up...Ill be back!

Cant say anything about their work because these people rarely pick up the phone or reply to emails. Even when someone is answering they dont know anything and promise a return call. Which never happens. This is not how you run a business. I ended up having the work on my boat done someplace else.

This place is terrible. I needed to have my 27 sailboat lifted out of the water and placed on my trailer so I could take it home for the winter. They wanted to charge $2,700.00 to just lift it out. They said they would discount the lift if I would pay them to do a bottom job that my boat doesnt need. Beware!

Dont do business with them if you can avoid it. They are the only place on Lake Travis that can haul a large boat out of the water and do anything to it, but their prices are outrageous and the service is poor. They charged me $2,000 to paint the bottom of my sailboat, and left a wide sticky ring of masking tape residue above the paint line all around the boat. lt will take me hours to get it off.Update; I called the number they provided below and was not able to reach the manager. I left my name, number, and a message with the service department. They know who I am and what they did, but they never got back to me. So much for high standards.

I wish I could give zero stars. There is a reason they have changed their name. After choosing them (yes - I was fooled by the name change) based on their lead time of 2.5 weeks, they said I was lost in the que. I was offered a spot six weeks after I called and after the holiday weekend. Terrible service. Find literally ANYONE else.John

On site sales service to buy a boat, was very good. But then they are receiving money after all.However the after sales service is terrible.Emails dont get responses, ignored phone calls, message questions ignored.Over 3 months and still waiting.Paperwork ?

DONT EVEN THINK ABOUT GOING HERE!My cabin cruiser was at Platinum Marine for 237 days. After paying them $7,000 it has more issues than when they started on it. Quick to fire you as a customer forcing you to post derogatory reviews and then file lawsuit.More to come and you have been warned!

The quality of service, and attitude of employees are beyond any compliments. Example: after I left a shop, heading home on the boat, the business owner personally gave me a call, to make sure I get back to my marine safely. Tells a lot about. Will use their service in the future, and recommend to all I know.

Had a great experience working with Brent and the team at Platinum Marine, they repaired, picked up my trailer, and stored my boat since I was visiting the lake from Dallas and had it ready for me to come back and pick up. Great service all around. Brett the mechanic was also very helpful when I needed a hand. Would recommend and use again (hopefully dont need to though).

I highly recommend these guys! Jeremy (service manager) and Mike (owner) are class acts and trustworthy. My experience with these guys got off on the wrong foot with a shockingly minor, certainly unintentional, and tragic misunderstanding on both our parts that plagued us both all summer. But Jeremy took it all in stride with grace, went way above the call of duty, and Mike closed a huge gap to make an awful situation bearable for both of us. I’ve ran service departments my entire adult life, and some days they can just feel like the Lost Baggage department at the airport with everyone angry at you. But how you handle these situations is where the rubber meets the road and these guys crushed it! I appreciate you all and look forward to many years of service with you guys. Thank you again.

I recently had Platinum Marine perform a bottom job, anode change and installion of a new vinyl boot stripe near the waterline of my large sailboat. Platinum is truely a full service company that has the ability to haul the largest boats on Lake Travis even when the lake was at a very low level prior to the recent rise in water levels. The work was performed in a very timely and professional manner, the owner, Mike Kern a pleasure to work with and the employees helpful, friendly and craftsmanlike. In addition, they were able to perform all of the work without removing my 53 foot mast. Did I mention that Allan and his mechanics are also very skilled. I highly recommend this company for your boating repair, service and brokerage needs especially if you own a large sailboat, need a bottom job and dont relish the idea of having the mast removed.
