Did my research on the car I wanted to purchase and went to Kia of North Austin. Met Cal, who was easy to work with and I didnt feel pressured into anything. He was very informative and answered all my questions. Once I committed, I was in and out driving my new car away in about 2 1/2 hours. Probably the best, most relaxed car buying experience Ive had in the over 40 years Ive been driving. I recommend Kia of North Austin to anyone looking for a new vehicle and when you get there, be sure to ask for Cal.

One of the most pleasurable car buying experiences. Cal was our salesman, and was attentive and not pushy. Levi in finance was fun and informative with what we were signing and what we were purchasing with the extended warranty. We purchased a 2017 Chrysler Pacifica and I would highly recommend this dealership. The facility is very new and very nice. We have lifetime oil changes, and cant wait to go back to see how the service department compares.
Great place. I have been a long-time customer of Kia. I am always attended by friendly staff. Today I went in for an oil change, and was attended by a Manuel Bernal. He was very courteous and professional and got straight to the point of what my vehicle might need other than an oil change. He was not pushy at all but explain to me in detail was also wrong with my car other than an oil change. Very good service thank you

I called two days prior, got scheduled for a routine servicing.Showed up at my appointment, was guided to park and greeted instantly.Checked in, had coffee, and relaxed.They came and found me about 45 minutes later, earlier than I was expecting, and took me to my vehicle.Not only was the oil changed, but they made sure my tires were in good condition, rotated my tires, and checked all my fluids.They even washed my car!These folks are awesome, buy a vehicle here and take it here for servicing.

We found a car we liked online and called to see if it was available. Jason quickly found the car we were referring to and confirmed it was still on the lot. When we arrived we were greeted by a friendly receptionist who was able to get a salesmen right away. Our salesman Zachary did an amazing job. When I arrived at Kia, I was assisted right away . Richard was available to help us with test driving a new vehicle . Richard is so kind, professional and knowledgeable. We spent some time discussing what I was looking for in my next car and in no time I was test driving my future car. He explained all the features for the car and about the company . I found this really helpful since I’ve never owned a car of this make before. He answered all of my questions. Purchased a Kia Forte Gt Line this week and this was my best car buying experience to-date! Like most of us, I did my research, and visited several local dealerships. When visiting a different dealership in Georgetown, a salesman told me I would have to pay $3,000 above the MSRP shown in the window, citing computer chip shortages! I was shocked and will never recommend the Georgetown dealership.I cant say enough about Kia North Austin. I found the car listed online at a great price. The price got me in the door, but excellent customer service won me over. When I arrived to test drive it, the salesman, Richard did a great job giving me a walking tour of the vehicle. I drove it and later he worked up some prices. The quote was much higher than what was advertised. After speaking with his manager, they honored the price advertised without any effort to dissuade me. Kudos to for taking the high ground and really supporting your customer!Richard was eager but not pushy. He spent time showing me the cars features and taking extra time explaining the features I was most interested in. Listening to him talk, he is definitely a subject matter expert on Kia and the Forte.For the benefit of Kia, I would share two opportunities for improvement:1). The finance representative seemed a bit arrogant and a little unfriendly (Im not sharing his name) he wasnt unprofessional or disrespectful to me. I believe he is a good person at heart, but his demeanor did put me off somewhat. In his defense, he wasnt pushy and answered any questions I had.2). I was told that the car was detailed prior to picking it up, and overall the car was very clean. But I had noticed a dirt mark on the drivers side door when test driving that was still there when I picked it up as well as some other minor dirt.Overall, I had a great experience here and will recommend Richard and this dealership to my friends and family. I deeply appreciate Richard and the sales manager taking the moral high ground when the pricing issue came up (which I dont blame them for). That is how you distinguish a high performing dealership from an average dealership.Photo note: window lighting cast on the seat gives the appearance of a stain. There was no stain, just my bad cell phone picture.

I just bought my second car with kia of north Austin and I’m glad I did. After visiting another dealership I left feeling so uncomfortable with the experience.The second I walked into Kia of north Austin Sahil made me feel comfortable he answered all the questions I had and was willing to work with me. He also checked in with me to follow up that the car was everything I hoped for. Every one I worked with was friendly and knowledgeable, I’m very happy with my purchase!
Theyve generally been pleasant to work with and seem to have done a good job in the past, though our most recent appoint was a disappointment.We brought it in for a separate issue, and had them do an oil change, even though I typically do it myself. They *say* they check fluid levels and top them off if needed. They clearly didnt.So now I find myself having to go back and check their work to see what other corners they may have cut, which will cost me more time than I saved bringing it in. Did they really rotate the tires? Did they really replace the filter gaskets? Why did they say they replaced the oil drain plug when I have a fumoto valve and it shouldnt need to be touched?
I want to put in a five star, super and outstanding review for the North Kia dealership as they definitely earned it this week!!They replaced my cadylic converter on my 2018 Kia Soul in 2-3 days flat turn around time and had to order parts. This is very impressive service! They also went above and beyond on being caring, professional and polite In several other important ways!! Their calls were prompt, they offered me help with Lyft home and had my car sparkling clean inside and out!!Whoever is at the the top in management needs to stop and reward and recognize first and foremost Shawn Chamberlin and also Brian Hall for stepping up and giving out standing customer service!!!I bought my 2018 Kia Soul off the show room floor and she is a sweet ride, and I have enjoyed it a ton!!! However great and quick customer service is a must in all locations for KIA to keep up with all the competition they have in the car industry!!! Thanks again for such a quick turn around and the caring customer service!!!

Great overall experience. Unusually busy for late on a Monday and we had not called ahead so some wait time was understandable. The young lady at the front desk was persistent in paging Sales to help people waiting in the showroom. We were very appreciative of her efforts. Joe Weathersby is a great Sales Consultant and Levi made the financial part quick and easy.
I got my car from here and loved the experience. I filed for bankruptcy and they still got me into a brand new car with a payment I can afford. Not only that, I went to go get an oil change and found out my first two oil changes are free with a full inspection. Id give them zero stars if I could. Everything I’ve ever done with this dealership takes HOURS. I got here at 2:15p for a simple oil change and tire repair that somehow took two and a half hours. I will never buy another Kia car again.

Ive brought my car to Kia Service Center twice and both times theyve done an excellent job. Ive left it both times and they have called an Uber both times to make sure that I was able to get to my destination and back. They explain everything that needs to get fixed in detail and when I thought I needed something and actually didnt, they were honest and told me instead of trying to sell me. They are quick as well. My car isnt even a Kia! Ill continue to come back.

I LOVE Kia of North Austin. I drove 45 minutes to talk to their Service Department about an issue I was having because I felt as though the Kia dealership I purchased from was not being forthcoming —> Said dealership wanted my car for 3 weeks, refused to provide rental, would not put a diagnosis into writing.Kia of North Austin got me in for a diagnosis the day after calling. At that appointment, they had fixed my car, taken it for a 10 mile test drive, washed and vacuumed it all in under an HOUR!! Will be making the drive every time to take my Kia here. Shoutout to Brian and the shop foreman for listening, believing, and solving the problem!!
I was lead to believe I had a problem with my wiring harness by another dealer and was told I needed to take it back to the dealer where I bought it. There WAS a problem—but the other shop actually fixed it, without bothering to tell me.So Kia North Austin had to look everything over carefully, which must have taken some time by their electrician, so they could tell me it’s OK! I appreciated their service, at no cost to me! They also washed the car while it was there—and it needed washing.I wish they lived closer, as I highly recommend them for their service, & would prefer their service department to the one closer to me, living in the Dove Springs neighborhood.Thanks, and I wish you didn’t have to spend your time needlessly, but given the shady stuff the other dealer was trying to do, taking advantage of my gullible nature, you DID perform a valuable service, providing me with peace of mind!

Tried for over a month to get my car appraised in order to buy out my lease. They were supposed to appraise my car while it was in the shop for regular maintenance so I wouldnt need to make more trips. Instead of doing an appraisal, all I got was a buyout quote, that I already had access to through my online account. Then I was told they would need to keep my car for two days to appraise it, when I was trying to schedule another appointment for the appraisal. I had to reschedule the 2nd appointment because finding transportation to commute to & from work is not an easy task. They didnt offer a loaner or concierge service. They then told me it would be a week or more that they would need my car and told me I was better off going to another dealership. I am glad I did! The service at South Austin Kia is phenomenally better than the Kia at North Austin on Research Blvd.

Greeted as I drove in. Service technician (Daniel) immediately acknowledged me and got me registered. Service was done quickly and I was kept apprised of what was being done throughout.
After purchasing a car from another dealership, we came and got our inspection and additional accessories from Southwest Kia - Austin.The sales room was clean and a receptionist greeted us after finishing with a phone customer. Lots of spacious seating and very clean. (GPS took us to a location 2 miles up the road from their new location, but we found it).She directed us to the service department and we were immediately greeted and told to drive our vehicle in for the inspection (pretty slow today).After entering our information into the computer he directed us to the parts desk. We had done some online shopping and the parts employee helped us make smart decisions with our buying and suggested options to save money through third party vendors.Service notified us of a recall that was pending and offered to take care of it while we were in (if it worked with our schedule).We walked to Dairy Queen, given the excuse of extra time and received a call regarding spark plugs and a fuel flush that were probably a good idea. Taking the time to contact us and suggest service there and then was excellent customer service in my opinion and will save us time going forward instead of waiting for us to return and possibly hold up our and other vehicles from getting their work done.I feel strongly that if I felt something wasn’t right, that the individuals I’ve dealt with would make every effort to rectify the issue.

Bought car 9/7 with a trade in. As of 10/4 they still have not paid off trade. I am being told by Kia finance to make my payment as I am still responsible and the dealer is saying they don’t know when it will pay. I think this is a scam to force you to make a payment so that the payoff is less than what they offered you. Pay off the car Kia or you will be reported to the AG of Texas
Been in twice for a tire issue. Said they plugged on Fri but back on Mon to be told I need a new tire. If they figured that on Fri...I would be a happy camper. But now, tire is not in stock so I need to continue to go to Discount Tire to fill until a new tire comes in. The way this is going, its going to come in while Im at work and this will need to interrupt my work day. Horrible experience

Went into this dealership on Tuesday August 10th to check out a used car on their lot. We did not like the deal they came up with as far as amount of money down and payments. I asked for a buyers order to take to my bank to obtain my own financing - which is considered a cash deal for the dealership. The reply I got back was “my boss said we do not take outside financing”. Who says no to a car deal? Yeah they don’t get money from the bank for using them as a lien holder but who deliberately doesn’t sell a car to a customer? Who doesn’t provide their customer with a buyers order so that they can obtain their own financing? Definitely would not use or recommend this dealership. There’s a reason they don’t want you to have a buyers order to take to your bank!
I love this facility and would have given them 5 stars (they usually rate 5) but they dropped the ball twice this visit. They corrected the first mistake and that would have gotten them the full 5 stars but after I got home I discovered they had neglected to give my car the promised wash. For that irritation I dropped a star.
I saw a used car on the website at what seemed to be a fair price. The car has been on the lot more than 30 days. I confirmed the car was in stock and at the advertised price and set up an appointment for that evening. 1 hour before my appointment, I received a text that the price of the car had changed from $9500 to $13000 because of market adjustment
Our daughters cars transmission went out at the end of her college semester, we had it towed to SW Kia, and Daniel, in the garage, was great to work with. He gave us a detailed quote for repair (over the phone) since we live out of town, and gave us some options moving forward. The kindness and exceptional help from the garage and sales department was much appreciated!

Came in few months ago interested in a Kia Optima. The staff was super friendly and upfront. They made sure all my needs were met and that I completely understood what I was getting into. The facility is clean and very modern. Long story short, I left with a great deal on a 2018 Optima ( almost 10000 off MSRP). I would highly recommend this dealership.
$1400 dealer add on for every vehicle once they sit you down, this does not include title, fees, etc. 🤪 Salesman was a jerk. When I said no to the offering price for my trade they came right back with 1000 increase on the offer, do not trust these people.
Similar to other experiences described (wish I had checked the reviews before I left work early to go look at the car), I was told I had to purchase 2 protection packages for a 13 year old used car I was trying to buy. Added $1400 to the listed purchase price of the car. I consider that false advertising. Dont say you are transparent with your pricing when you dont let people know about this requirement until you are working up the paperwork. I walked away.

These are the best people....I love this car..a 2020 KIA RIO....It is like a spaceship..The man who sold me my car, RICHARD, is not just my salesman, he became my friend...he is a very cool guy...we discussed music and other topics, he calls to see how Im doing and how my car is doing...following up with me making sure everything is okay with my car..and its not fake caring...hes a for real nice, cool guy..glad to call him a friend..hes a stand up guy....YOU CAN TRUST HIM...and I met BRIAN HALL, my service advisor, when I brought in my car for its scheduled maintenance ....another competent, stand up guy...he took care of me with 10 star customer service...you cant help but become friends with anyone you meet at SOUTHWEST KIA....I wish other companies had these standards and employees....Im 64, and this may be the best customer service Ive ever experienced in my life..if not, then its a tie the best...but I cant remember ever being treated so well by any other company or business.....I cant say enough good about these people...do not hesitate to contact this KIA DEALERSHIP, and while I would say to ask for RICHARD, my sales representative, I bet anything that any of their sales representatives are 10 star....you wont go wrong dealing with these people...thanks for allowing me to post this review and say what I think of my customer experience
Honestly this is our second time buying from kia and have to say everything was a breeze. This was by far hands down the fastest car buying experience ever. Out the door in 2 hours start to finish. They were awesome and Hanna is a great lady to work with.
I was pleased with the service,but I would have liked if they would have a check list as my other Kia service showing things like tire wear numbers ect.easy to do while car is on rack and important info to customer.

This dealership is one of the worst customer services Ive yet to experience. I took time out of work and drove 40mins to the dealership to take a look at the car that I called about and when I got to the dealership, I waited an hour and the receptionist paged about 15x still NO SALES PERSON SHOWED UP, yet I see employees (assuming sales) hanging around. This is the last time I will be doing any business at this dealership.The manager was no help and seemed like he didnt care when I complained.
I bought a car here 2 years ago, their “car fax” didn’t show any auto collisions. I pulled the car fax today and it shows 3 accidents prior to purchase. Clearly falsifying documentation to sell a car. I would not recommend this dealership to my worst enemy. Buyers beware.

I will not give even 0 to these guys. This was my first visit to these guys. I was in touch with the advisor Brian and was there to do a basic oil change and multi-point inspection - costing me $60. After waiting for 1 hour, the guy comes and tells me that your kia Sportage is in very good condition but makes a few recommendations - cabin air filter, tire balancing. I wait another 45 minutes and then guy comes again telling me that the rim of one tires is bent and needs to be replaced. He is not able to do tire balancing properly due to rim damage and might need tire replacement - no assurance that he will be able to put on the tires after that. I was so tensed. I had been driving so safely throughout and taking care of my car. This guy comes and says damage might have been done to the tire rim during the driving in past. I was so shocked. Finally he comes and says that they were able to do tire balancing with some workaround like putting weights. Also they mentioned that they waived $70 labor charge. The rim replacement will cost me $700 which the guys mentioned can be paid in installments. I couldnt believe these guys.After the bent rim concern, I visited Discount Tire and it came out my rim is in good condition with no damages whatsoever. I wasted half a day because of Southwest Kia of North Austin.I surely never recommend these guys. You make business out of customers without providing a good experience.If anything happens to my car due to the Southwest of Kias service, I will make sure they pay for any further damages or loss to my car.So when I called and tried to speak to Brian and manager of service, my calls went to voicemails. Cant just trust these guys.HORRIBLE customer experience for a first time customer!!
I dont take rating someones work lightly, I think customer feedback is very important. I worked nearly 25 years for the Texas Dept. of Public Safety and 29 years for H-E-B Grocery Company. My wife and I have been married 51 years and have purchased many vehicles over that period of time.When we first married, we purchased used vehicles. Later with both of us working and contributing to our budget, we were buying from Lexus; sedans, two LX 750s. Now however, were both on retired income, so we decided to downsize from two vehicle to one. Kia Telluride looked the best to us and after talking to your salesman, about what we were looking for he showed us new and used. It was clear to us, a used Telluride SX wild be our best option and buy. So your salesman gets a 5 for his patience in dealing with two hard of hearing grandparents in our 70s. He was also very committed to finding the right vehicle to meet our needs. He was cordial, informative, knew his inventory, and made our first experience with KIA very pleasant.You Service Dept., so far gets a 3 rating. Before purchasing the vehicle, it needed to be serviced and cleaned. We wanted a final walk around before closing the deal. Well, the vehicle wasnt given a good cleaning; floorboard needed more attention, the information screen still had fingerprint smudges on it, the sun roof hadnt been dried or whipped off and there were dried watermarks on the sun roofs. So, we asked our salesman to ask the men who cleaned it up to see if they could do a better job and they did.The young lady who helped us with the final paperwork used to close the deal was both very charming, intelligent, competent, and explained everything to us in great detail. She gets a 5 as well.So, the overall rating of our first experience with Kia was a 4.

I would never give anyone a 5 unless I was just absolutely blown away. However, Ivan and Levi are were awesome. They treated me extremely well. I was thrown off at first because I was told Destinie would be meeting me, and when I was told she did not work there (i.e., she was an internet/phone only person), I was not happy. But Ivan and Levi were fantastic. Good guys. I gave them what Destinie gave me, and we had a deal within the hour. They didnt waste my time at all. Good experience. I would recommend them.
Very very poor customer service!Did not allow me to do a test drive because I didn’t have an auto insurance!!Hello @kianorthaustin ! I’m planning for my FIRST one ! How do you expect me to have a auto insurance?When I said to the sales person I can’t buy a car without doing a test drive…He did not care and said “ITS THE POILCY”In fact, I was ready to buy the car today if I liked the drive.Too bad because of your policy you are LOSING a CUSTOMER and wasted 1hour of my precious time !!
I was recommended by a friend! I was so excited and thought I would leave a new car and great deal! A complete rip off for trading cars! I DO NOT RECOMMEND trading your car here! Finance guy Levi was a complete joke when he’s questioned about charges and don’t have the lie for it he gets really defensive.

Ill reserve the negative comments in case they inquire about this rating. The store itself in nice & clean.Update May, 2021: had a great experience with the Service Department/Advisor. Was greeted promptly, offered a ride etc and was kept up to date during the process. Appreciate the great service and will be back for sure. Thank you Southwest Kia Service for a pleasant experience.

Last month I went to this dealership to get a new car and do a trade in. Michael helped make the car buying experience simple and answered every question I had. Ended up going with the Blue Kia Soul and I dont regret it. This is a fantastic dealership with polite and efficient employees. Highly recommended.
