Oscar and his team are great. Every year they get me all set up and ready for the holidays. This year I had a few bulbs out they replaced them and made sure everything was working correctly before they left the job site. Great team!

We have used Dennington Decor for the past 3 years. They do an outstanding job. The crews that install the lights are always quick and never leave a mess. I would recommend them to anyone that wants to have beautiful holiday lights but dont want the hassle of doing it yourself.

Dennington Decor has been my go to for residential holiday lighting. My experience with them has been exceptional customer service throughout the process. Every year they send reminders before holiday season, work with you according to your budget, provide a timely installation, burned out light replacements and timely takedown. I dont have to worry about storage because Dennington stores the wreaths, lighting, etc. till the next year. Have used them before without an issue. But now I cant even get a call back on when the lights would be installed and emails have gone unanswered. My wife is now at the point where she is asking for a full refund and hunting for another service. I live my life in the customer service and experience world, and delighted customers make all the difference. I am disappointed to say the least, and now feel bad for even recommending them to other neighbors, colleagues, and friends.

The holiday season is stressful enough! Dennington Decor made it so simple, they showed up, installed beautiful lights and boom...my house looked ready for Christmas. Then after the holiday, they show up like little mice and removed them. It really is awesome! Worth every penny to take the stress off me and my husband during the holidays. My house looked beautiful throughout the holiday season!

Dreadfully disappointing customer experience. Steven and I exchanged emails confirming Christmas lights on 10/29 (discount offered to put them up before end of Oct, even if they didn’t get to it before end of Oct). I emailed twice mid-November to follow up on install date. Steven replied they’d be up by the weekend (11/22). No show, no call, no follow up. I called the office Monday, no returned call. I called the office Tuesday morning, no returned call. I called again Tuesday afternoon and was promised they’d be up Friday. Again no show, no call.

These guys did a great job and the house looked awesome. Very professional. They bring everything needed to install and when the holidays were over came and removed everything when we werent even home. I will be using Dennington Decor Holiday Lighting again this year!

Update: Installer Don checked on the lights when he got back to the office and came back today to put up the colored lights :)Price was reasonable BUT make sure you know what youre paying for. I understood that we upgraded to C7 or C9 colored lights (price was $100 more than their initial quote for clear lights), but we only got clear lights. I called the office, and talked to the installation person but he said the price we paid was for clear lights and thats not what I understood at all.

I was very pleased with the kind reception I received when I called early November. I told them that we had had installation of lights 2-3 yrs. ago. I told them what I wanted, details, etc., and I was impressed that they still had our record on file. They were very courteous and polite as we discussed specifics and recommendations compared to what we had had previously. The pricing was VERY reasonable especially since it had been 2 years since they had been out to our home. Lights and decorations were installed, and they did not miss one detail! From beginning to finish, it was truly a professionally done job with no problems at all. We had one bulb burn out; I called, and it was replaced immediately! I’ve used Dennington for three years. They do a nice job putting up my Christmas lights. One year a few bulbs went out. They came right out to replace them so I wouldn’t be without my Christmas spirit.

I recommend Dennington Decor to everyone I know looking for Christmas lights. They are very professional and my lights look great. I like the customer service they provide. If there is ever a problem I just call them up and they come out and fix it. I don’t have to get on any ladders or get out in the cold weather. Plus another great advantage is the they come and take them down and hall them away. I do not have to worry about storing my lights till next year. Dennington does a great job with holiday lights and it’s a great convenience to the customer. They come put up the lights and you don’t need to be there for them to do it. After the holiday they come take them down and are great about doing it in the stated timeframe. The quality of the work is great.

Very pleased with this service. The crew put up decorations promptly and also came back to take them down. The crew helped with extradecorations getting them efficiently to the power sources. I highly recommend them.

Had some problems getting someone out on date scheduled at the start, but on the whole the experience was a good one. Twice a string of lights went out, but they sent someone out within a day or two to replace them. This was a much better alternative to having my husband climb up on the roof to put up or replace lights. I will definitely use this company next year too.

This place came highly recommended thru Nextdoor and Google, but Im not exactly sure why. We paid and were scheduled to have lights put on our front roof line and our trees. They came and did our trees while we were out of town for Thanksgiving, but when we returned on Friday, we didnt have lights on our house. We called Friday, they said they would come put them on that day or Saturday. Nope! Then we called Monday, they said they would do it on Monday. Today is Tuesday and we STILL dont have lights on our house. BAD BUSINESS. Ill be putting bad reviews everywhere I can because of this awful experience.

Never Hired Them, But They Keep Bugging Me for PaymentI called Dennington Decor in mid-November to get a bid on doing Christmas lights hung for us. We needed them done by a certain date before a party and they said they could do it.It took them over a week to send us the bid to sign before they could schedule.They were unresponsive to emails during that time, so we found someone else to hang the lights.They have contacted me at least four times looking for payment for services provided, and to schedule a time to take down the lights that they never came out to hang, nor were actually hired to do.They clearly cannot manage their office well.

I have enjoyed working with Dennington Lighting and Steven for the past 2 years. They do a professional and excellent job! People stop by my house and ask if we will put up our beautiful Christmas lights again this year, and I always tell them that is the plan! They say they really enjoy looking at them since we live on a hill and they seem to light the street. Steven gives discounts each year even to existing customers and gets lights up and down in a timely manner. In fact, he will ask YOU when you want them down (gives a time span for you to choose) I stretch mine out because I am never ready to go back to the non- Christmas look. Well-worth it!

Friendly and nice. They do a great job with the lights. Their prices are reasonable. They need to really work on making and honoring their work schedule.

This is our 4th year using Dennington Decor and we have not had issues like some of the other reviewers. We tend to keep our Christmas Lights simple and show the installers pictures from previous years as to what we want. Are there clips left in the yard, sometimes. So big deal, pick them up. Do they use extension cords that might be visible during the day? Yes, but you cannot see them at night. They try to hide everything but during the day you will be able to see everything, not a big deal. Over the years we have had bulbs go out and Dennington Decor always sends somebody out to replace them. They are not the fastest with responding because I dont think this is a big company but if you are persistent, you will get an answer. We will keep using them.

We had set a date last year and you forgot me. Most of my neighbors had their lights up. I had to call you again. Please hang the lights closer to Thanksgiving.

First year using Dennington. They were efficient and reasonably priced for what we wanted. A few bulbs went out and they came out and replaced the day after I called.

Always did a wonderful job for me. Put the lights up when the said they would and took them down when they said they would. They also came out and fixed the lights for me when we had a rare wind storm in December that took half the lights down!! Well worth the $$$

Price was right! Service was excellent; installation was done as requested and on time. Staff was courteous, and they even came out to change bulbs when they went out. Same day maintenance service; worth your $$$ to skip the pain and risk of installing yourself!! Compared to others 11/10 in my book!

They hung and took down Xmas lights reasonably quickly.The owner wrote me a sideways email accusing me of giving his company a bad review on some other site (I did not leave any reviews). I was quite taken aback, and pretty offended.Aside from that... pretty good overall.

My husband & I had a very positive experience with Dennington Décor Holiday Lighting. The only thing that they could work on is scheduling & giving their customers enough notice when they are coming to install. Otherwise, we were quite satisfied.

Horrible customer service! Tried to get them to install our lights for over a month. They kept failing to keep the appointments they set, and when they did send people out it was half done, and looked horrible. They used rusty binder clips to hold the lights on, which didnt work and did scrape up my gutters. They also used staple guns on my roof, and other areas. They argued with me at length with all the reasons that it wasnt their fault (workers letting them down, too much work, weather, etc) and FINALLY agreed to send me a full refund. 5 months later.... no refund. The only thing they were prompt about was taking down the few lights they put up, though they did leave the rusty binder clips all over my yard for me. Horrible company!

Great service and easy to arrange. Its one of those things you know you could do yourself but so much more enjoyable just to get it done timely and correctly.

Other than a few minor hickups in the beginning the service went off without a hitch. I was a little annoyed with thier contract as a jump off point, to be trutheful Contracts are for closing on houses and more important legal issues, other than festive Christmas lights. Bah Humbug!They did charge me and additional $20 to clear off some minimal limbs that were impedeing their ability to hang the lights. I believe they should have included that as part of the service especially since I was the one who loaned them the equipment to rendor the limb removal.Additionally, I felt terrible that they looked to be on the verge of heat exhaustion while installing and offered complimentary gatorades and water which they didnt have the courtesy to throw away and left in the yard as trash. They should be a little more prepared in terms of bringing drinks for hydration and equipment necessary to complete the job (ie. limb trimmers).Lastly, supplying a timer for the lights to go off and on, at dusk and dawn seemed to be asking too much apparently. They did supply one after some convincing, but it didnt work. Ultimately I had to just go buy one. These are just some of the things that were bothersome after paying $350 for the lights and install.I have used services in the past where we moved from in Dallas and those services were much more customer centric and straight forward. They simply put up the lights, they worked, looked great, easy to work with, no contracts, and were about $50 cheaper in a much bigger market on a much bigger house.Heres the GREAT NEWS....the lights looked incredible, they did fix all broken light bulbs in a timely manner, had a fairly high level of communication, and the beautiful lights were up the entire season without any problems. I think they have some real potential and will hopefully take this feedback and improve moving foward.I will definitley use them again next season and give them another shot!
