Pleasant environment! Very welcoming environment and staff was very attentive! Customers in the store were very helpful and friendly as well! My 7 month old baby girl was getting a little grumpy and others were willing and able to help me grab things and my check-out experience was very fun! The ladies helping me check-out were patient, attentive and smiling! Wow! I live in Kyle and I definitely will stop and shop here again! Kudos to you all! Ty for putting a smile on our faces. Employees were amazing and everything was fine but it loses the HEB personality, everything so spread and not personal touch. It felt like if I was on a Walmart. The way out of the parking into 1826 was crazy long. Even though I am closer to this one and I was excited about it, I think I will keep going to the old one on Escarment and Slaughter..even though it is also big but it feel like it is more intimate and have personality.. not sure how to explain it.

H-E-B is one of the great things about Texas. Anyone who moves away (they’re dead to me) always complains about how they had no idea how good they had it with an H-E-B down the street! The BBQ restaurant at this location is legit!!!

This is my usual grocery and pharmacy. The store is new(ish), clean, well-lit and well-stocked. The staff are helpful. Good produce, a good bakery, consistent sushi counter, nice selection of specialty items. It is smaller than the store on Brodie so I occasionally have to go over there for a less common item, but I much prefer to do my regular shopping here.

I was finishing up my shopping with a full cart and my four year old in tow. As I was perusing the berries I heard a loud pop. I looked down and one of the potato chip bags I stupidly placed on the bottom rack had slid off the rack and fallen in the wheels path. Needless to say the chips were wrecked. Within seconds a female H‑E‑B employee approached me and asked if she could grab me another bag. I told her I appreciated it and would still pay for them. She insisted and asked where I would be shopping. Within minutes she met me in the produce area with a new bag, saving me so much time and energy and making me a devoted H‑E‑B shopper from here on out.

I have always loved this HEB, particularly this pharmacy as they have always been kind throughout my cancer treatment.Today though I was severely disappointed and greatly upset!The pharmacy closes at 6pmNot 5:58 but 6pmI am aware that people want to go home as soon as their shift has ended, I get that really I do. BUT it was not 6pm when I pulled into the drive thru and the woman I spoke to was beyond rude, beyond. She said “We a closed” (not sorry we are closed), I said “it’s not 6pm yet” she said “I already counted my till, I can’t help you.” So that means she had already counted her till and closed before it had even turned 6pm.I was upset and came inside to plea for her to help me get my medication as it did not even need a till to be given. This is at 6:02 now (since I had to park before coming in.) She was then even more rude, absolutely unacceptably RUDE! Now I’m in tears because of the way she treated and spoke to me, as well as not being able to get the very much needed medication…. I went to find a manager so that someone would know how horribly I was treated by this young woman. She walked by as I was talking to manager and even said another smart remark and horrible look as she passed by.Totally unacceptable. No one like her should be anywhere near a pharmacy or in customer service of any kind!!! People that are sick do not need employees being mean and rude to them as well. If the pharmacy closed at 6pm. Then the window should be open until 6pm - Not 5:58. The tills should not have been counted until 6pm. This is one of the only reviews I’ve ever left in my life and I hope it to be my last, but your employee was awful and I will not return to this pharmacy ever again. Sometimes medicine is life or death and she laughed in my face and rolled her eyes and called me names under her breath. Disgusting human being.

I feel obligated to leave a review to offset the one star review someone gave because she wanted service at 5:58 when the pharmacy closed at 6. People who expect to be seen in the tiny sliver of time before any service closes are the worst, entitled sort of customer. Technically yes, there are seconds left in the shift, but considering that each customer takes a while the interaction would probably extend beyond the end of the shift. And sorry but employees arent there to kowtow to people who couldnt be bothered to show up at a decent time. Assume your interaction will take at least 5-10 minutes and show up accordingly. Good gracious. Especially right now when store employees have been working hard through these difficult times. Its common sense not to show up at a store right before closing (and many will even say sorry were closing in 5 minutes and not let you in), and the same logic applies here. Imagine having the audacity to freak out and blame the store because you arrived too late to complete a transaction. HEB is great. Five stars to all and especially the pharmacy.

HEB Floral did such an amazing job with my wedding floral arrangements and cannot say enough good things about them! Working with Macy was wonderful and she understood exactly what I was wanting/the style I was going for at a great affordable price! I would highly recommend working with her!

I live downtown yet drive out to this HEB for groceries. First, HEB is the best, so it’s my go-to grocery store. Second, this HEB is extra nice. It’s large, spacious and clean. The selection here is particularly good, with a lot of variety. It’s easy to navigate, once you get the lay of the land, and staff is friendly and helpful. I can always find what I’m looking for, and there’s a good selection of wines in the cooler for those that need to pick something up for that local get together. My favorite HEB in town -so far.

Poor customer service and the staff always has an attitude. I’ve used curbside and gone into the store and the experience is always sub-par as far as the staff goes which is not normal for H‑E‑B and their brand. I hope the store manager or management can bring the customer service experience to a level that reflects the H‑E‑B brand and the other locations.

Just want to leave a great review for HEB employee name Zach! He overheard my wife and I looking for an item and he went out of his way to help us find it. After a few minutes and not being able to find the item he then recommended us a similar item. If HEB management wants to appreciate him, he was working on 05/02/21 between 6 PM - 7 PM.

I usually love HEB at this location. The costumer service is A+. I am writing because I am worried about the pharmacy staff. I think something is not working there. The costumer service I know and love is not happening at this pharmacy. Do they need more money? Better hours? I dont know. I am always very polite, patient, understanding, but they just seem mad that I am there. My husband has the same experience. We are both baffled because we switched all of prescriptions to HEB due to our complete satisfaction with the HEB brand. Now we feel like we have made a mistake.

I always enjoy going to this HEB, it always feels like Im walking into a new store that just opened. The staff are always friendly and helpful and I love the fresh seafood and bakery departments. If they would only carry a better selection of my Rockstar energy drinks, this would be my favorite store for weekly shopping.

I love this HEB. All of the employees that I’ve encountered have been so polite and helpful. I come here with my 2 young daughters almost every week and I’ve never had a bad experience. Any time I ask an employee where an item is, they’re happy to help. I’ve also found that the shelves are usually very stocked so I hardly ever miss out on something that I need.They make a strong effort to ensure that no one is waiting in line too long to check out groceries. They will open up registers to expedite the process if the lines are long. The cashiers are always nice and 9 times out of 10 there is another employee helping to bag the groceries, which is so nice, especially when I have my 2 little ones with me. This morning they offered to help me out with my groceries, and although I declined, I thought it was such a nice gesture.Thank you HEB Escarpment!

H-E-B is the best grocery store chain in Texas and Northern Mexico, which essentially makes it one of the top grocery stores in the world. As a chain it is head and shoulders above its rivals in quality and price point. This location is, in my opinion, one of the top in Austin. Enough said. Helpful, polite, and courteous staff put it at the top to shop at. Always a pleasure.

HEB grocery store as our go to store for groceries. It’s rated in the top five grocery operations in the nation. I really love to buy one product and get several other products free with your coupons. Their app is very useful. I also love the policy a free delivery of your medications.

Always the least expensive gas around. I guess they will soon be closing, because of the new store on Congress. Fresh tortillas inside, always clean and helpful staff.

Went to HEB for vegetables and fruit and the variety is wonderful. These peaches which we have bought before are delicious and at $0.97 a pound not expensive at all.

I went to that HEB, which was way out of my way, specifically to get two items.I needed Fancy Feast pate with gravy in the middle for my picky cats. There was only 1 box of Fancy Feast cans and it was the wrong kind.Then I went to get some HEB brand Mixla tortillas ( 1/2 flour and 1/2 corn). They are amazing and Im hooked on them. There were NONE!Very disappointing trip.

This is by far my favorite H-E-B location in Austin. This store is very well organized, clean and has ample selection of almost everything.The store does have several demonstration stations and on the weekends, there are lots of products to sample. My favorite aspect about this store are multiple vendors offering sample of wine and beer on Saturday and Sunday afternoons.This location also has a cafe and curbside pick-up.Even if you live closer to another H-E-B in South Austin, the shopping experience is well worth the longer drive.

I love this HEB in circle C. The only concerns that the employees shopping for Curb sides are always on the way. With the big carts in them. Curb side employee shoppers should do that job, after hours. So annoying,so much big carts on the aisle. I hope this matter they will figure it out the best options. To avoid the congestions in the aisles.

The HEB at Escarpment Blvd is a good store, but its also really large. Shopping there is a mixed bag. Mostly, Im happy to have it in the neighborhood.

No store does more than my HEB

Ok experience but have noticed twice that HEB is changing up their package specials and adding items that are not part of the SPECIAL and sometimes require multiple items. This upsets me and had all items removed from my bill. NOT AN HONORABLE APPROACH FOR CUSTOMERS THAT HAVE BEEN FAITHFUL FOR 15+ YEARS.

Very nive location and friendly staff. I was in the vegetables area and a staff member had told me to wait while they went to get fresher vegetables. I do miss the cooking connection staff, but with covid it is understandable. These days the shelves seem mostly stocked.

This has been, and continues to be, one of my favorite HEB stores. Most of the cashiers are attentive and polite - some continue to care about their conversations with coworkers over customer service but thats a minor issue. The store is very clean and always well stocked. They have a great wine and beer selection too. They recently added several self check lines that work for those quick runs and have plenty of usually open registers.

This place has everything! The first place Ive ever been to that had clams and mussels both fresh. They had everything I needed which I couldnt find anywhere else. They have truly outdone themselves with this location. Top of the line! I will not go to another one again!

I cant believe Im writing a review about a grocery store. But Im doing it because this particular grocery store is the best Ive ever shopped at.I moved to my neighborhood a few years before they built this store and was thrilled when it was finished.There are a couple of reasons why I love it so much.1-For some reason the parking lot is really laid out well and even if you have to walk a bit, its not that far, ever.2-This store is somewhat of a hybrid, they carry a lot of high-end Central Market stuff, which we love.3-Its well managed store, when its really packed,, they open more registers. Not matter how crowded it is, you always seem to get out pretty quickly.Additionally, there are only two supermarket chains in Austin: Randalls and HEB. Lets face it, HEB is much better in a lot of ways: Price and Selection, HEB is just way better in both areas; the Deli department carries Boars Head cold cuts, Randalls doesnt; and so on.The only time I didnt love the store was when they rearranged it a couple of years ago and we couldnt find anything for a couple of weeks. The people they had out to help werent a big help. But thats progress. Now I know where most of what Im looking for is and really enjoy shopping here.

We go to this HEB several times a week and love to see the super positive / very happy workers like Gerri (sp?) with Pink Hair and Jaime (brown hair / glasses) and many of the others that I see weekly (but dont remember their names currently). Jaime and Gerri (sorry, we never look at your name tag anymore since we know your name) you both are ALWAYS SO NICE (and positive attitudes!) to my wife, kids and myself ! They other store staff are Great as well! (and yes sometimes items are OUT of stock (it happens...no biggie). They Bakery ladies are SO nice!!! And the Fish market people (Richard...I am talking about you Sir!) are GREAT. If you need them to, they cook up your food for your ahead of time and have it prepped for you. Richard helped me with a big order and was kind and patient with my requests on packaging. Overall, the store is great, people are great (cashiers are ALWAYS nice and friendly ...no matter HOW crowded it is). I have been going to this store since it opened about 14 years ago and rarely go to other HEBs (since each stores food layout is different)

Very disappointed that they did not substitute items I ordered that were not available. Now they have a big note on the site that either wasn’t there or I missed at the time that they are only going to deliver items that are available right at the time before your order is delivered. When items are ordered a week ahead, and they get those items in the store they should ensure those items are set aside for that order. I only got 3 items that I paid $5 extra for, adding about $2 to cost of each item. Will not be using the service again.

The best regular H.E.B in town. It is like a watered down H.E.B. Central Market or Whole Foods, if you dont get the reference. The only maybe Con, is a lack of variety of big brand Breakfast Cereal. But, they do have the most upscale variety of Breakfast Cereal and best beer selection for an H.E.B. in Austin. (Not including Central Market)

Though the staff at almost any HEB is friendly and helpful (no exceptions here, the team is wonderful), the prices seem just a bit higher than even the store 10min further east. And also seems to have less organic food options.

The produce selection and quality were excellent. A fantastic range of choices in imported cheeses and meats. I was disappointed with the canned beans/soups/condiments aisle: sections of it were completely bare. I was among several people not being able to locate a single can of garbanzo beans, and the kidney and black bean cans could be counted on one hand. While in the deli section, i was offered help several times, but then when buying fresh fish and checking out I was waited on by disinterested, expressionless staff members. I had to bag my own groceries — not a big deal, except that my checkout person left while I was still doing it and I almost missed the meat and fish she’d bagged separately and set off to the side while I was busy paying. I get that shift change happens but, seriously, you can take the two minutes it’ll take you to finish the transaction and maybe say thank you, or bye, or anything at all? I’m used to such professional service at H-E-B that I was surprised.

First time at this HEB. It was very busy on a mid-day Sunday but because of the large aisles it did not affect my shopping. I used self check out that was quick and easy and continuously had an employee checking if anyone needed any help. Great experience.
