We are new to town, and just found out this lovely adorable toy store - came to buy coffee beans next to here, and found this place. They have a great selection of toys, and staffs are truly friendly and attentive. Our 4 years old son loves being at this store, got his favorite polar bear toy, and I assume it would be owner but maybe not, but staff there were so kind to our son and he didnt want to leave :) I can see this will be our family toy store- my sons favorite and also mine.

Got excellent help picking stuff out and a really beautiful wrapping job on the gifts I got. Store has great selection and great staff!

I have purchased all my Christmas and birthday gifts for my 3 grandsons at Over the Rainbow. I walk in, the lady asks who I’m buying for and their age and helps me find a gift. I don’t have any granddaughters but browse that selection, too. My mother never taught me knitting or embroidery and this shop has beginner kits in the little girls section ...for grandmas like myself.

Very helpful staff. This store is close to our grandson’s house, so have been here more than once. So far all suggestions have been a hit.

I just love coming here to get gifts for my son and my friends kids. They have great, unique gifts for all age ranges. The selection ranges from more curated fancy wooden toys to the classic gifts you hope to find in all toy stores. The owner is a pleasure to work with, and I will always recommend this shop to anyone who asks!

Cute store with a good variety of gifts for your kids, friends, significant others, and you if the child inside of you is still alive. The lady who helped me was very kind, got me to get excited by playing with some of the display toys. I left with many stuffed toys and even scented glitter gel pens!

Very disappointed in the lack of customer service values this small business employs. Went in to get a gift with a small child and waited for 5-7minutes while the cashier was busy ringing up another customer. Note that were two other employees that were in the cashier wrap area. Not one offered to help noticing that my child was getting fussy waiting.My child started getting louder and screaming.I let her scream. It was the only way I was going to get attention and get rang up in a timely manner.The cashier, Shirley, did not greet me and rang the item up twice.I called her attention to the receipt that it was not correct. She had some small talk with the other employees in the cash wrap while trying to refund me and never apologized for over charging me or acknowledge it.At the end of the transaction she looked at me awkwardly. She didnt end the transaction with a thank you or have a good day.I looked and her waiting for her to say anything completing the transaction .... I asked can I have a bag? She put the toy in the bag and I left the store irritated. I noticed when I got in my car that it seems that she overcharged me on the receipt so I went back in and gave their receipts on the counter and said this isnt correct.She began to argue with me and wasnt explaining it where I could understand their point of sale system.After more arguing, I told the employee I just want a full refund because I hadnt had a pleasant experience. Shirley mocked with her I somewhat care but not really attitude.Just like the other reviewer stated poor judgement on these employees and just NOPE.

You can’t even look at the clothes correctly without the sales people asking to put the clothes back isn’t that their job to fix them after customers look through them ??

Loved this place and have such fond memories from when I was a child. So sorry to see it closing. Thank you for all the happy times 💕

Great prices, beautiful gift wrap done right there on the spot, and the friendliest ladies working there. I came here as a girl and love that it’s still and Austin staple.
