Excellent experience and customer service! My first experience was a free service call. Months later when the garage door started acting up again I called and they had someone out the next day. Even though I was unavailable they replaced the unit and sent me an invoice electronically. The price was better than anywhere else. I never saw anyone or had to do anything. Thanks Doug

I called both Doug and one of his competitors for estimates to replace the springs on my garage door. Unlike his competitor, Doug was very professional and explained pricing options before he even saw my door, and arrived within an hour for the repair. He also inspected my entire garage door system and made adjustments to help maximize performance & life. The price was more than fare.

Doug came out to the house, looked over both doors, within 5-10 minutes had fixed both issues and told me no charge. He was professional, knowledgeable about what to do and overall the kind of person and company you want to do business with! I would call these guys every time because of the experience!

Simply awesome! I called at 8:15. By 10:30 they were at my house. By 11 my door was fixed, all other doors inspected and greased. The price was so fair I’m embarrassed I did not add a tip. If you have a garage door need give them a call!

Lake Travis Overhead Doors is one of the most reliable companies with which we have worked. We have had our motor and spring replaced by Doug Burd in the past, and he did an impeccable job at a very reasonable cost. But Doug goes above and beyond the customer service level you typically see in the business world. Recently, our door went wildly off the tracks one evening. We could not diagnose the problem and were thinking we would have to completely replace our system. My wife called Doug at 8am the next morning. He was on his way to a job, but he turned his truck around to come and diagnose our issue. Within 15 minutes, the problem was solved....again at a very reasonable price. He and his co-worker are good souls that want to serve people. As long as I live in Lakeway/Austin, I know I have a company I can call that has my best interest at heart. I highly recommend this company. They get it!

Awesome service! Car trapped in garage and needed that day. Doug was here in 30 minutes and had springs and cables replaced in 1 hour. Good to go. Price was way less than I expected. Highly recommend and will definitely use in the future.

Big thanks to Doug, who offered insight and recommendations between different opener models and we ultimately landed on a Liftmaster WLED which offers the MyQ Wifi opening capability via my cell phone, and also have a battery backup so the opener will still work if the power is out, along with lighting on the operator that is even brighter than the light that came in the garage. Operation is SUPER QUIET thanks to a DC motor on a belt drive. Further piece of mind is the operator has a lifetime warranty on the belt and the DC motor.The house came wired, and made for an install of about 2hours or so while we chatted. Clearly Doug is very proficient in his work and it showed as he had the install down to a science. Doug showed up when he said, had all the materials on hand, and offered great value at fair price.Great experience overall and highly recommended.

This company is world class. I have no other way of putting it. I needed a piece of trim that the local home improvement stores did not have. One call here and they delivered the trim the next day. There are a lot of companies that claim they deliver great customer experiences but this is well above and beyond. I will remember this experience and will always come back for any garage door needs.

TL; DR Called late this afternoon, fixed by 7pm!Called office at 430pm asking to get on their schedule for a door that would not open (but not an emergency). They took a message and said owner would call me back. He called back and said they would be out this evening.Fast forward to about 630 and they arrived. I had another door that I noticed had a loose part. They had no qualms about not only fixing the one I called about, but the other one also. 😁Super helpful and nice. Only charged $79. Will definitely call again if needed and recommend to neighbors and friends. 👌

Doug and his team do business the way you wish everyone did: fair, honest, timely with quick & good communications. Hes quick to find the issue and gives you options even when one of those options means he wont get the sale. Hes repaired my broken springs within hours of the door breaking. He didnt even charge my mother-in-law when the issue was a sensor that had been bumped out of alignment causing her door not to work. (30seconds of work, but he had still made the trip to her house.) I cant recommend them highly enough.

Doug did a great job. I called him yesterday and he come out today and worked with me on my schedule because I have pretty unorthodox work hours. He was honest and transparent in his pricing. I’ve had other garage door companies come out in the past and it always seemed they were more salesmen than anything else. His prices were incredibly reasonable and I will definitely be using him again in the future.

We had an excellent experience upgrading our garage door with Doug. His service was impeccable and the final product is exactly as promised and looks great. My garage door spring broke unexpectedly on a Saturday. Doug was at my place within an hour of when I called and the door was fixed an hour after that. He was friendly and thorough, and the price was fair.

Doug was great! He was available to come out same day as he is local and services Lakeway/Bee Cave. Very convenient. He was informative and went over and above my expectations. He knew exactly what was wrong, fixed that, and also improved the garage door and function at an excellent price. We will recommend him and use him for future servicing and new updated garage doors. PS: he not only repairs doors but installs various types of new ones which are better than the new build doors (function wise and looks wise)

Doug, and one of his employees, came out the same day to give me a quote on my broken spring. He didnt have the spring for the large 18 foot door I had, but he returned the next day and fixed it promptly. He even fixed another issue with the door at no extra charge. The door works smoother and quieter than it ever did before.

Ive used Lake Travis overhead doors before and they are always prompt and do a great job at a fair price. Called today and Doug was at my house fixing my door in less than an hour. The door was in terrible shape and Doug repaired it enough so that we can use it until the new door comes in. Wish every company I deal with was as professional as these guys.
