Love how clean and well stocked this store is. BUT PLEASE TRAIN YOUR CASHIERS! They are so rude and will seriously ignore you. The young lady I had seriously knew I was there waiting for my one item and up and left without saying anything to me. 5 minutes later she FINALLY came back. And never spoke to me until the total.
If youre looking for foods and ingredients from South America and the Caribbean in Austin then Fiesta is definitely the place to be. The highlight of the store is definitely their fresh seafood. A variety of live fish and crab, and a huge variety of frozen seafood including the best red snapper weve found.
Seafoods are reasonably priced. Love the varieties of fruits!
Employees are great and the atmosphere makes me feel as though I am at home
Is not as big as some of the other ones Ive been to but still pretty well stocked and cleaned. Some items are reasonably priced and some items I found to be on the high side but if you need items (like certain spices) that you cant find anywhere else, come in and take a look.
Always a great experience; fresh salsas, vegetables, fish, baked goods, etc.I get a pound of Hibiscus once a month there! Such a great nutritional addition for the body daily; be creative and make your own hibiscus electrolyte blend: you might find recipes online, been drinking my own blend for many years: refreshing, replenishing beverage for hydration, cools the system down, properties are endless...YES FIESTA!
Their hot food is good. They have things like tacos, guisados, carnitas, chiles rellenos. As expected they use salt, spices and oil to cook so don’t get anything if you’re on a clean diet! LOL But, their food does taste good and they usually have at least three freshly made agüas de sabor (tamarind, watermelon, pineapple, horchata, jamaica, etc). I say usually because sometimes they only have one or two flavors. They don’t vary their menu much so we only go once in a while to not get bored of the foods/taste. We also don’t eat there as it is not a very inviting atmosphere, no salsa bar and there’s no much to see around that space. But yes, yummy food to go!That being said, I saw a lot of the items they have are overpriced. I wouldn’t say all but I did see several. For example, Knorr soups that are less than a dollar at other grocery store, are almost three times as much there, same with bottled hot sauces. I don’t know if it’s because they themselves don’t get competitive cost as they are a smaller chain the other store I mentioned, or, they overprice items as they market themselves as a grocery store specializing in latin foods. The ladies specially at the hot food section and the cashiers are not rude but also not nice. Just in the middle. They guys at the Deli, meat and seafood market are really nice.
I bought a beautiful ring in the jewelry store here, and I wanted a small size for it. The woman there didn’t give us the right instructions and asked who’s ring that was so my daughter said her name. Later I forgot my receipt and they had said they would call me on a Tuesday to get my ring. I came and they said to show the ID and I showed them but then they said it didn’t match. And so they said to show and ID of my daughter. So I asked my money back but they said I needed that receipt. This is for the jewelry store but overall Fiesta is ok.
The prices here are crazy. Veggies and fruits are always going bad. Cashiers are slow af and always only 2 to 3 working for both express and regular. And they will charge you full price on stuff they have on sale.
OMG, what Happened to this place. Was so sad the last visit I had. Nothing on the shelves and the place was so dirty.
Area is nicely organized and clean. Employees are friendly. Nice selection, large variety of produce. Fresh tortillas
I live close and thought I would try this store. At best, its...meh.I have never been greeted or even spoken to at checkout other than to tell me my total.I have been consistantly charged more at the register than is stated on the shelf. For more exotic items its a good place. But for more mainstream items the price is higher and not enough off brand options.I will say, that the meat dept is what I go for. And the guys back there are always super friendly and helpful...the only place I have found this in this store.I will go if I just dont want to deal with crowds, but not for my usual shopping.
It was nice to see the members of staff all wearing their masks. Great job! I have now found a place to buy all my hard to get exotic ingredients and spices. Thank you.
Great price s an fresh fruit s ! Nice an clean !
I asked an employee if the had Pepsi in the glass bottle. He rolled his eyes and just gave me a look like I am bothering him. He told me they didnt have any didnt even check just flat out said no and I end up finding them.
They had no 12 ok bottles of Topo Chico ...sprite instead
Great prices on meat, always clean and organized.
Although Austin was suffering from winter storm Uris effects, the store was stocked with produce, canned goods, juices, and the in-store bakery was pushing out bread as the pre-sliced loaves sold out. Excellent customer service. Although their staff endured the same week-long trauma as its customers because of the winter storm, they were friendly and diligent.
Sad, went to pickup some sweet bread, ingredients contain propelin glycol, which is antifreeze,, why is this happeningLet the world know about this. Why are they posining, the people. Let the world know
Could use better customer service skills.Employees are not helpful. Prices are good though.
Wasnt crowded, has lots of interesting products, and is a throwback to old Austin and old Texas. Big old photos on the walls.
Prices are a bit high, but quick in and out
Very clean, great prices and I love the meat market!!Well stocked
Wasn’t too crowded, which was nice. All staff were wearing masks and taking social distancing pretty seriously. Produce section was plentiful, huge variety of fruits and veggies, would be a good place to check if you’re can’t find what you’re looking for elsewhere. Fruits and veggies didn’t seem any better or worse than H‑E‑B, though. Limited staff at registers, although we went on a Tuesday evening. Great selection of inexpensive spices! Other name brand foods were pretty expensive compared to elsewhere, and extra expensive compared to H‑E‑B store brand. I don’t think they have their own store brand.
For those that don’t know what fiesta is about it’s a grocery store with mostly Hispanic products and services. The produce is always fresh as well as the meat department. We love purchasing our blue crab there. You have to go early though.
It is hard to order in the hot food line when the employee does not appear to be helpful and does not want to work. Bad customer service.
Thank you in a time like this weather in austin texas you have open your door . Wonderful staff very professional and very helpful thank you
Shopping there you can find whatever your heart desires and more and great prices
If your looking for the Hispanic experience then this is the place to go. Give it a try.
Im always able to find difficult to locate food items here. Love it!
Fiesta Mart at I-35 @ Stassney is completely different from the Fiesta at 38th @ I-35. If you need handicapped carts, theres only 1 working as of 11/7/2020, although they keep several old ones at the north location.I have noticed thick infestation of flies in the produce department. The meat department seldom stocks the meats advertised in the weekly circular and if hard to find any employee in either the meat or seafood dept.
The cashier Muriel was excellent in enhancing our customer grocery shopping experience. She was sociable, pleasant and professional in her interaction
Good place to find things you cant purchase anywhere else plus good prices
Cashier in the hot deli had her gloves on but never bothered to change them in between transactions...including when she touched coins and bills.... than went over to serve us... no hygiene! Cashiers always on their phones, with headphones... never greet customers... and manager never cares.... Ana is the manager on duty most of the time.... I only go there because I work next door and is convenient but service there is horrible!
Always a great experience at Fiesta... clean and friendly staff, with great inventory
Sorry I know yah dnt have a lot of groceries because of the freeze.
I was actually impressed, very huge selection of every in a not so big building, its crazy. The only downfall, is, if you happen to be caucasian. They look at you as if you might not know how to shop at Mexican store. Its cute!
Great service and friendly
Love this place. Staff definately not outgoing or friendly but if you can look past them, the store isn’t bad at all.
Thanks for finally updating the mobility carts! 2 new carts?
Cashier tonight in the express lane was the worst cashier Ive ever seen. Mask down under her chin talking and spitting all over the place . So slow when ringing up items. Stopped in the middle of checking someone out to flirt with the security guard. Scanned several items incorrectly had to be told several times that she had either missed or overscanned items before she would correct it. Throwing things in the bag roughly, cramming everything into one bag.. Finally had a Manager come over to fix. No hand sanitizer stations in sight after that disgusting experience. Fiesta is not taking covid seriously
I love fiesta, you get all the essentials and more for super cheap and if you look for them there are always awesome deals of some kind going on. Plus if they have leftover things like Halloween candy they keep selling it till their inventory is gone.
We inventoried this store it was neat and clean the store associates were very helpful and plesent.
Love shopping here. It has all the authentic products we cook with.
Best prices in Meat Department,Seafood department, and Produce Department in Austin
Great selection of food and hard working employees!! A++ service!
I stopped at Fiesta for gas. The prices were very reasonable. I didnt interact with the staff that the location was very clean.
Good service cheapest prices in town !!
I just go there for the raspa truck there they are reqlly good on a hot day many flavors to choose from the ice is really soft. Their roasted corn is great.
Great store has anything you need at a great price.
Standard fare grocery store with many latino foods. All of the staff were very helpful.
I dont visit this store often. The times I have come i see it clean, find what Im looking for and come home satisfied with my shopping there. With the corona virus I see everything is followed as is recommended. So I give it a five. I now give it a 3 because I went yesterday june 20. 2020 and a lot of the workers were not wearing their mask. Some of them had it on their chin. This is a great reason why this virus doesnt go away. Come on people be more responsible
Perfect for getting some good seafood. They seem to always have live Blue Crabs in large sizes. Excellent produce section with a good desert section too.
They carry CULANTRO. Central Markets produce dept. hadnt heard of it. I was impressed with their international foods aisle too. They carry a lot of imported food items that Ive never seen at any of the three HEB stores I normally shop at.
Staff great and store not crowded when were there. I felt safe.
They have a great deal of articles, and international food. Nevertheless, it can be a bit overpriced for items easily found in other grocery stores. I only buy items that I won’t find in other places. I think it needs some improvement in appearance and organization at the store.
Best low prices
So bad do not come here
Worked there 5 years good company
Finally found best tacos in Austin. Forget trendy spots, foodtrucks(joke) here at a modest Fiesta Mart I found authentic Mexican tacos served in American portions. If you are hungry and haven’t tried, you must. Chicken in red sauce, pulled pork and beef fajita, all three 100% flavors. Nice Latin cheese selection too. Everything I ever got here was good.Mejores tacos en Austin. Deliciosos, grandes, baratos! Excelente servicio también. Que más si puede desear?!
I shop for fruit and fresh vegetables at Fiesta, but I have noticed they arent as friendly at checkout and bagging for Caucasian people. Not saying they arePredjudice, but I have noticed it more than once, they dont smile or ask if I need help
Great place to find all your Mexican foods
Martin was veerrryyyyy rude. Had two separate orders, two separate people. Made me leave a 10 items less line and I had to wait in line longer because he didn’t want to work. Refused to take my basket bc I had more than 10 items (15 items) half were not mine. I think he’s the manager! Need new employees immediately!
Poor service. Today a cashier with name Emily bagged our food and threw the bag towards me. I thought she was even going to say sorry or the act.Despite this was not an accident because she did it with all the intention to bag our food rapidly and then throw it. I even moved because I thought the bag was going to hit me. The bag made a loud noise when it hit back the spot where they bagged the food. I don’t if she got mad because she was on her cell phone when I first put my grocers in that line. She had no reason to treat me other customers this way. There was no other people behind me for her to be in a rush and throw the food in that way
I love the atmosphere. The ppl in the produce department are extremely nice, and so are the meat cutters. The cashiers could try to be friendlier. Alot of us are in such a good mood after other interactions with employees, only to have our overall experience marred by a rude Cashier. 5 stars cuz of all of you who work hard to make it great.
Fiesta! Lower Prices! (spoken with a lisp). Check out the OTC import meds and remedies.
Good place to get Mexican stuff. Good prices as well
This place gives the impression that they think the clients are there to steal. There are blocked exits and entrances, its the only store Ive seen an armed security guard. This is not a place I want to revisit.
Very clean and well stocked with a fun mix of American and Latino products.
Love this grocery store. While its usually very busy, theyre a reason for it. Their meat and seafood section is amazing! Prices and all!
Went there to get my license sticker and they only sale them from 12 to 1 pm
My fav store for fresh produce, and hard to find grocery from other continents. Can find spices, condiments, ingredients from as far as Pakistan.( Dry dates)
Its fine, it could be better organized
Not the friendliest staff of you need help! Very clean lots of variety, decent pricing. One of the few places you can still get papaya juice which is important to some of my patients. Fun bakery and meat market. Just needs improvement in customer service.
Worse site i have ever attempted to access!
I always find what Im look for. There is also a place called All Precious#1 in the store that great things. There always nice and friendly. They do speak English and Spanish.
They had one motorized cart that I needed but it was not working. I wanted to ask if they had another and took forever for someone to come and tell me no, even though I saw one on my way out. I asked a cashier where the Goya products were to save having to walk all over the store and he didnt know. It was not a pleasant experience to say the least. 😣
I love this place! Great deal especially on meat and produce. I bought pork chops for 84 cents a lb and a pot roast for 1.67 per lb. The also have a great seafood department and super variety in produce. Service was awesome too.!
Is a great place for a regular shopping as you would at a grocery store as well as those items you may not find in a regular grocery store that may be from a different country. They also have good hot food you can grab for lunch. And dont forget the lobsters that are live in the back. Please like if this review was helpful.
Love this place! Awesome produce and friendly staff. The eyebrow threading shop is just the best!
Nice clean and organize that is a comeback store
It is a lot like little Mexico
Fiesta has a wonderful variety of foods from around the world. They have dark honey from Germany, spices from Africa, India, Asia and many other countries. Theres a huge variety of sea food coupled with great prices. They have a large parking lot with a gas station just steps away. There workers are knowledgeable and friendly...they know who to ask if theyre not sure.
Good store to go shopping and low prices on your food you can see every week on your ad
Staff is rude and unfriendly and the business center is really needing to train the little girls what customer service really is. Pathetic
Good price
Love to shop at fiesta mart because there food come from all over the world 😁 now thats a two thumbs up for FIESTA MART 👍👍🇺🇸
My Favorite Hispanic/Mexican Store, Hands ✋ Down, PERIODT
This place is great particularly the butcher shop and seafood are affordable but high quality. You can also get all kinds of affordable home goods and products. The produce is also generally very fresh. There are fresh tortillas available as well.
I love the meat cuts they have here. The prices are more than reasonable and the produce is fresh. Also, if your looking for some Mexican food ingredients like spices, peppers or seasoning look nowhere else. Theyve got what you need here. The place is clean and there are enough cash registers open at all times to get you out of there relatively quickly.
Never go in the morning on a week day unless you have plenty of time. It had one check out open. This was not just a one time situation. Its common practice.
Its ok....it doesnt have a good variety of ice cream or even some Mexican teas. Cashier didnt even say hi.
Favorite supermarket of the area
Selena in the gas station is very kind and she is a delight to have spoken to! She was maintaining the stores cleanliness when i came in and the bathrooms were very clean, since she had just finished them. Very attentive and kind; will return! 🙂
Shopping here a dream for latino community...prices are very affordable a Gem for a latin cuisine foodie 😍
