I love Whole Foods! Especially if you’re a prime member it is totally worth it to come here compared to HEB. Their food is fresh and they have great healthy options everywhere! From organic, to vegan vegetarian and lactose! They have a huge supply of supplements, medicines, health, toiletries and soo much more!! Everyone needs to shop here
Jackie in the cheese department was AMAZING! We wanted to make a charcuterie board and Jackie knocked it out of the park with her suggestions. She was extremely friendly and excited to help us out. It really made our night. Yall go see Jackie for your cheese fix!
The hot bar was disappointing. I was craving pizza, and it was room-temperature and someone had had a super heavy hand on the salt. It was enough salt to be not good, but I was hungry and it wasn’t terrible, just lukewarm and salty.Store is bright and clean.
Lots of great products in an open and airy environment. Just about every food item you could imagine. Great beer and alcohol selection, as well as seafood. Plenty of plant-based options too. Parking was a breeze which is such a blessing downtown.
Wonderful selection of Snap Kitchen goodies. Yummy Yummy Snap Kitchen Spicy Citrus cold-pressed juice! Stop by and grab one of their beautiful flower arrangements.
Worst customer experience ever. Its almost like they dont want you shopping in the store. Between the personal shoppers and the stocking it was almost impossible to get around. Who stocks the store at 4pm on a Saturday? Why are the personal shoppers so rude? Seems like they need a training course on how to be more respectful of the people who are doing their own shopping. If all that wasnt bad enough they were out of all 4 cuts of meat I was looking for. Its a bummer because we drive out of our way to come to this location so we can enjoy the rooftop park with our toddler before we shop. If it wasnt for him getting to play it would have been a waste of a trip.
I came in today and was a bit lost at first…usually shop at the Lamar location. I will for sure be switching over to this location. Bruce in produce was so helpful with me finding a perfect avocado for my sandwiches. Even told me about some good sandwich meats to try and the hot cherry peppers! This trip and new ideas really helps the damper that is no longer working from home and going back to the office!
Convenient stop to get lunch on the way to work! Cant wait until the buffet is fully up and running! Salad and breakfast out and lots of options. Could be a bit more friendly in the customer service department.
Love the wine bar! We had a quick dinner from the hot bar and enjoyed it with a glass of wine. Why arent all Whole Foods like this?!?
Devon wine knowledge is amazing. Helped us select the perfect wines for our wedding. Thank you
Love the store. Great layout and lots of variety in their options. Healthy options are abundant and they have something for everyone. Great place to stop if you’re looking for a healthy quick meal as they have lotta options for ready-made food as well.Felt the need to leave a review today because of one of the cashiers. The gentleman name Wes, appeared to be a happy and kind guy, however I quickly came to realize this was only for the young women checking out in his line. When my turn rolled around, Wes completely changed his entire personality. Ignored every question or attempt to talk to him and went on with an upset face. I understand the desire to talk more to a female, but being rude to someone else isn’t cool. Definitely not the kind of customer service I expect from Whole Foods. Don’t check out in Wes‘s line unless you are a young female.

Amazon has completely ruined WholeFoods. The vibe has completely changed and the warm atmosphere that you used to get is gone. Used to be able to request hot and ready meals at the hot foods section. These are now completed via kiosk (won’t even help you if you walk up and ask, I tried). I ended up getting a turkey Brie sandwich from the grab and go section. $8, absolutely no flavor. Bread was stale, turkey was gray, and the sandwich was dry. Won’t be returning
The whole experience is pretty jarring the first time you visit. There is a lot to do and see. Add that on top of the swiftness or regulars speeding through to get their groceries and get out. However, there is a good selection of organic foods at a reasonable price. There is also a vast selection of food to go, making this both a grocery store and a restaurant. Finally there is plenty of parking. All in all this is a solid store that offers quite a bit. Its a shame that shopping here means supporting Amazon.
Quick pop in this am for the missus. Parking in front, unlike in the evenings, usually have to use garage. Nice change. Limited breakfast bar but enough for her. Bought our new Stanley bottles there.
One of the better Whole Foods II’ve shopped at. Huge selection and fun bar in the back, awesome sushi bar!
Beautiful Whole Foods. Everything was fully stocked and produce items were very fresh. Great supermarket but just a bit overpricedGreat selection of healthy foods.
Trail mix buffet, create your own açaí bowl (whether you can pronounce it or not :) ) and a huge salad and hot bar! I always locate a Whole Foods when I travel and this is the best one that I found. What a huge selection, friendly people and plenty of places to sit and enjoy. I always stop here when in Austin
Absolutely wonderful! Vast selection of fresh fish meat veggies and fruit. Also indoors restaurants where you can eat Asian, fresh sushi or sea food while enjoying a glass of wine. I was a little overwhelmed at first, took me a while to get adjusted and figure out where everything is, but it was worth it.
1st, Whole Foods grocery is WAY over priced. 2nd, while their hot bar and salad bar are convenient, they advertise being healthy, but are far from it. They use canola and/or soy oil in everything, two oils that should never even enter a human body. They even add canola oil to there marinated olives! Olives?! Additionally, they add sugar to almost everything there, even to their BACON?! Whole foods might be able to justify their hot bar prices if they used olive oil or coconut oil, but as is, we should not be eating that garbage, especially when were being lied to about it being healthy.
The whole foods complex comprises of market, juiceland & burger shop name next level burger inside it.Famous ATX sign is located right out this whole foods complex. They also serve prepared food incase you are running late. Veggies are so fresh, includes cut vegetables like carrot, chopped onions to prepare readymade food/salad. Customer service is very good such that one of the staff walked us until end of aisle while searching for a product. The billing is very fast and have self checkout option as well. Carry own bags to save some pennies & also good for environment.#HappyShopping
Love this whole foods market. Products always free. Friendly servers. Easy parking.
The store is medium big in size and it’s very hip being inside the city. The only reason I give it 4 stars instead of 5 is that they have leak problems near the produce area and they’ve been having for some time. Besides that great store!
A glorious selection of food for lunch. With pizza to die for!
Super friendly staff and great food selection.
As a courier I’m seeking refugee at any AC available spot and willing to pay their food for a place inside…there’s a big space reserved for team members only which had NO TEAM MEMBERS eating. I asked if I could, and was directed to the front which was crowed, barley any sitting, and everyone breathing each other’s germs gross. NECESSARY seating blocked off, no one wearing masks…this place was better before it got sold to Amazon smh🤦🏽
Amazing store! If you need it, want it or never even thought of it..you will find it here! Added bonus- select Whole Foods have their very own barbecue pits and everyone I’ve tried has been great. There was a long line of customers waiting to select their favorite cut of meat & BBQ appropriate sides so I skipped the line and found the larger than usual hot bar selections. Interesting items like a spiced fried tofu, an entire bar of chicken from Buffalo Wings to Fried Thai thighs to home style fried chicken. A bar of freshly baked pizza by the slice, ( families with kids lined up ). And as usual, even packed with customers, the staff was friendly and helpful!
This the Queen Bee of Whole Foods Markets. We dont just come to shop for clean, healthy, allergen friendly choices. We come for the atmosphere of acceptance, to learn what new food is available, to enjoy the energy especially in the produce section, and to break the monotony of a long trip with a safe and tasty hot meal. We route our road trips through cities with Whole Foods in them for all of the above. Thanks WF for being there to help keep my family out of the doctors office.
Not everything inside is open (the bar). Wish Bowie BBQ had all their menu items (cheesy chorizo corn). Over all, still great price for a quick dinner with great variety
Beautiful outdoor space above the store itself with a little park and tables!
Ordered the steak tacos and they literally gave me the driest steak they could find, ran it over, let a possum chew on it a couple times, skipped it across lady bird lake, patted it with a towel to make sure it was still dry, and then served it directly on an uncooked tortilla with nothing else. Just the “steak” and tortilla. They didn’t ask whether I wanted anything else, they just went ahead and gave me that. I went back to the cook and asked for some more ingredients but she said she could only give me salsa. I ended up having to ask a manager, who thought it was funny as well, just to get more ingredients on my $10 tacos. Not going here again.
The best place I have found to buy meat in all of Austin. Pasture raised Ribeyes FTMFW!Also grabbed a slice of pizza for lunch and it was so good Ive been craving it since. Caprese pizza with a giant heirloom tomato slice right in the middle! Fantastic!
The original Whole Foods location is pretty much a must if youre a fan of the chain. Massive store with great selection, tons of booths and counter service, and the outstanding customer service the chain is renowned for. Generally expensive, yes, but you can definitely find good deals.
I went last week and the experience itself was fine, but all the food I purchased was inexcusably bad! I was so excited to go because I normally cant afford it (I had a $75 gift card). All of the produce I bought was terrible! I bought three peaches, which looked normal, but when I cut into them they were brown and rotting. Same with two avocados. I bought a quart of milk (Whole Foods brand) and it was SOUR after three days (I drank a glass and was immediately sick). I got a package of bacon (Whole Foods brand) and it was the worst bacon Id ever had in my life! Instead of the reddish-brown color that bacon usually becomes, it turned dark brownish/grey. None of the products I purchased were labeled to expire as soon as they did (most evidently not the milk or bacon). I am so so disappointed with my experience, HEB is 100x better.
Great shopping experience, the store team was very knowledgeable and helpful
This is the most original whole foods ever. I always look up for grabbing lunch there because its very nutritious. I recommend everything about this store. Especially the food bar. I love the atmosphere here. Its always busy and you can never get bored. We ate lunch outside on their patio style eating area and it was a great experience.
Always a great market, with the best products, with prices letting you know. I love Whole Foods.
Love the vibes, just fun to walk around and find interesting vegan stuff
I love this location and go a few times a month, despite there being a newer location closer to me. Sometimes its hard to find things, if youre buying a speciality item for the first time, but the staff will help you get what you need. Its easy to navigate through and always has everything in stock. Theyve done an exemplary job making you and their employees feel safe.
When you go to a Whole Foods, you expect a few standard things. There is a buffet, a few prepared food stations, the deli, the produce, the bakery, and a few more.Since this Whole Foods is the pride of the fleet, the grand flagship of the company, it is reasonable to expect even more. And this place does not disappoint, as long as cost isnt an issue.Buffet foods were well prepared, and had a wonderful aroma. The food stations were well stocked and multiple, though the taco station did not have cassava tortillas, which was a tad disappointing.I recommend spending the $5 on the cocowhip, but be aware that they only give you a reasonably sized sneeze of cocowhip in a small sized cup. Also, they have massages available in the basement.
They have an awesome variety of organic and vegan foods! They are a bit on the pricey side but i was willing to sacrifice it.
Its their hq. No wonder they have everything. Choice is top. Not all WFs are created equal but this one is well worth the visit naturally.
How could a building like this have such a small restroom with such constant plumbing problems? Why does it seem to never occur to management that this is a serious issue with all regular customers?
So honestly I am awe struck that a place that is from Austin and is “inclusive” treats their customers poorly. I have a service puppy and called ahead to see if she was allowed was told yes walk in she had a little accident on the floor which I cleaned up myself for the employee and they told me that I was told wrong and as I was walking out I saw 3 other dogs. It’s illegal to tell someone that their dog isn’t a service dog let alone I was the one that cleaned up the pee.. I could’ve just left it there for you. The check out person though was super nice but I’m never going to this place again due to their lack of integrity and customer service skills
It’s an awesome place to find food1 less star as they are more expensive than central marketThe brisket is awesome and the smoked chicken is not well doneNext level burger baked fries is actually better than the French friesCrew is helpful and coolCoffee is as good as Starbuck and cheaperYou can sit and work there
Very helpful people very nice stuff nice clean environment clean bathroom
Whole foods Market by N lamar, Austin is the best. Always have varieties selection, especially foods, drinks and yummy tiramisu and brownies. Since corvid season the fresh desserts less selection than usually. But still the best ones and worth of the drive
6 dollars for a measley amount of potato salad.too many 28 year old white women with crows feet buying essential oils.Good butchery selection.
I love how organized the store is, and very ascetically pleasing. It was fully stocked witch was absolutely amazing and had products that I’ve never seen in a Whole Foods before!
Whole Foods was way cooler before it was owned by Amazon.Still a great store, unlike any others. I love coming here for the cafeteria style lunch.I used to come here for niche items, like vegan marshmellow spread, and the store clerk would tell me to take it home for free if they couldnt personally recommend it, then come back and let them know what I thought. Weird story, but it happened to me several times with different people and it definitely made me love shopping there.
So many unique food items. They also have a great selection of prepared food.
Good grocery store. Prepared foods were all over so it is easy to grab something quick to eat. The best grocery store EVER!! Friendly employees, fresh produce and deli meals, reasonable prices and clean stores.
This place is gigantic compared to other Whole Foods in Texas! You will find everything you need here!!
Nice store! Clean and easy to find everything.
Great products and reasonable prices.
Staff is very polite, restrooms are very clean. Quality of food is excellent, no rotten food or signs of spoiling. Very big store with great selections. Food bar has wide selection, and still open during covid. Safety and covid precautions are in place. Sushi made on site, largest selection of prepacked foods and vegetables Ive seen. Overall very clean, fast check out. parking is a little difficult during busy hours but lower level parking is available. Recommend dark chocolate mocha from coffee bar, very delicious. Coffee bar is also very big and in its own section.
Excellent quality food, free parking. Some items are wallat wateringly expensive (but this is the same with any high end store). Shop sensibly and the prices are sensible.Excellent range of beer and the fresh good produce is well displayed.Snacks available and takeaway food easy to find in-and-out
Always a busy place. This very large flagship location has pretty much everything any whole foods can offer. There is a wine bar in the back where you can sit and enjoy a glass of wine. Basically 3 other restaurants in the building as well as a cafeteria style prepared foods section along with plenty of indoor and out door seating. There is also a hot and cold coffee served for you to go with not to mention their extensive coffee bean selection for you to purchase and bring home to brew.A great juice and smoothie bar is also in the building where you can just about anything you ask for in a smoothie.Oh and the grocery store is very well stocked and if they dont have what you are looking for (like a seasonal squash) they will find an appropriate substitute for you and often at a discount price or free.Dont count on EV parking as there is only one charger. On the surface parking lot.
The selection here is great and fresh. The workers are always polite and friendly
Very clean and spacious store with great customer service.
I can always depend on this Whole Foods to have a clean and accessible restroom when I shop here.
This is probably the best Whole Foods I have ever set foot in. Its massive, clean, and has the best food choices of any Whole Foods that I have been in. They actually have more than 3 flavors of sliced pizza there.
Used to be a cool destination but now it really just feels like a cash grab for unwelcome California imports. Everything you can get here is available at other stores for less. Central Market HEBs have better baked goods, HMart and Indian grocers have better pan-asian foods, and the local co-ops have more variety. Local business is the best place for you and for them
A wondrously fecund garden for the aggregation of sundry wort. Our wait, many years ago, for the flagship store to move to this location has been largely forgotten, and today it seems that it has always been here. Back then the Lamar store was more quirky and possibly even parochial; now it is more like grand central station.
GREAT PLACE FOR EVERYTHIIIIIIING.Mochi Ice cream bar and Dessert bar caught my attention! 😍
Pricey, yes. But 5 stars for the delicious vegan prepared foods like the Chicknsalad and the raspberry lemon vegan cake and the vegan delight fresh pack sandwich.
The next level burger is definitely the burger for a better world. The burgers are awesome. The juice bar here is great too. I love this place and I will be coming back for some great food. I had the signature burger and the mixture of what the patty has was really good.
Flagship! What can I say, the concept kiosk are great. I went there totally just to eat there and didnt even shop (came back the next day for that). The price was super reasonable especially for made to order pasta!
Excellent store! Everything is organized and it is not difficult to find parking.
My fav. Groceries store in Austin, but please fix the cashier machine at the coffee bar.
Fresh food, great spot to catch dinner and plenty of parking. Once you see the ATX sign on the corner, you have arrived. Awesome BBQ at Bowie’s!
My favorite thing about Austin loved the turkey enchiladas and you must try the kombuchis I cant remember the brand name but they are simply Delicious Ive had them from other places they dont have a good taste these actually taste like the best thing Ive ever drank to be honest wish I could remember the brand name I remember one of them was, stay at home and one of them was, dark magic flavor that I tried simply Delicious
Its okay if you are a Prime member. Otherwise to old joke about Whole paycheck pretty much applies.
By far my favorite Whole Foods to date. Enjoyed a delicious plant based chicken sandwich here. There is a really nice out door dining area just beware of the killer pigeons. They are fearless 😱
CDC removed mask mandate. Whole foods still stuck on it. What does whole foods know that they dont? Everybodys vaccinated. Whats the point?
Little pricey but good selections
The first Whole Foods that started the chain!
Whole Foods is a fun place to visit. The variety of premade food is mind boggling, the staff are friendly and helpful, and they cater to whatever your food allergies, or diet may requires. On top of all of that, the people watching is fantastic. Fresh food and entertainment, what more could you ask for.
The quality is great, but the prices are high. The Amazon Prime discount is hardly worth asking for the discount. My max discount over the past year has been 75 cents. Why bother. I find the store confusing to navigate. Things like cheese and deli meat appear in multiple places. Also they choose to not carry many common food brands such as cereals.
Such a wide selection. Great quality food for a quick bite too.
Hands down one of the best food stores I have ever been to, so many endless choices of food and drink could have spent a few weeks to fully appreciate this store.
Love whole foods. Always have what I want and even what I dont need.
Probably the best Wholefoods location. Great coffee roasting/coffee bar. Broader selection than other locations.
