Beautiful clothing and impeccable service. Was able to do the near impossible and put together a tailored suit from me while I was half the country away - and in record time for a wedding I was trying to get to. Suit looks amazing and Im planning on buying several more in the near future.

Got a two piece suit for my wedding and I inadvertently found a tailor for life.First of all, the suit fit like a glove! Absolutely perfect. I received so many compliments and my mom cried when she first saw it.Second of all, Christopher and Wendy were so informative and patient with me as I navigated the tailor-fit process for the first time. They also took the time to triple check that everything was perfect before making the final piece. I seriously appreciated their due diligence.I will recommend Bykowski to everyone I can for as long as I live. Can’t wait to meet with them again next year to get fitted for a new suit for my brother’s wedding.

Love these guys. A wonderful mashup of guns and custom mens tailor. These guys are Austins version of Huntsmen on Saville Row. Grabbed my first bespoke suit from them and plan on many more.

Only great things to say about quality and design. Bykowski Taylor and Garb created a beautiful, custom waistcoat made from fabrics that we couldnt find anywhere else. The look they created was timeless.

I hate to have to write this review but these guys did a terrible job with a set of trousers I hired them to make for me. After several ill fitting trousers that they made (a process which literally took 2 years) I was left with a final set of trousers that was 4 sizes too big. How they made that mistake, I have no idea. They had to mail to me because it was during covid. You can imagine my surprise when I tried them on. They told me to go to a tailor that they usually work with to get it fixed. The tailor did the best he could and they fit ok now, but it is not a $500 fitting trousers like what I thought I was paying for. TO make matters worse, the fabric had several blemishes and holes. The worst part if that it doesnt even match the jacket they had already made for me, which is why I got the pants. ALl in all I spent $1400 with these people, buying a jacket, custom trousers and a hat.

Second time I go back with them. Their work is phenomenal! I would highly recommend anyone getting their first suit here!

Wow. I was fitted for a suit on January 28th, here we are 4 months later and I cant get them to return an email. They do not have a store to go to, I feel like they have taken my money and have no intention of getting me a suit. I spent $3k and have sent them email after email with no response. The one time they responded they promised me they would meet me on the 1st of May, that came and went. No suit.**update. Its been 7 full months

Had a great experience buying my first custom tailored suit with the fine folks at Bykowski Tailor and Garb. The suit looks excellent and Im sure it wont be my last.The store is fun to check out, the people are friendly, and the goods are of high quality. What more can you ask for?!?!

I was in Austin for work and stayed a block or so away from Bykowski, so I stopped in one day hoping to find a new sport coat. The selection is great and unique. I got fitted for and ordered an absolutely gorgeous jacket. When it arrived, it fit like a glove and is even better looking than what I remembered. I would highly recommend stopping in and checking out this shop. Wendy and her husband couldn’t have been nicer or more accommodating.

Wendy and Chris are incredible people. This was my first suite purchase and I couldnt have found a better place. Its a wonder Im able to pick a style that works, but with this place a total newb can feel at home. They know exactly how to help and will really make it worth it!

Hunting for a suit for your wedding can be time consuming and a bit daunting. I went to several reputable suit stores in Austin prior to visiting Bykowski and none of them compared. The styles, quality of the product, knowledge, and service put them in a class of their own. It’s just different in a really good way. There is nothing like it in town. Can’t recommend them enough. Without a doubt one of the best and most unique menswear stores youll find. They have a great aesthetic, and their construction and attention to detail is immaculate. I absolutely cannot recommend them highly enough.

Terrible for online sales. Never sent a receipt of sale via e mail, never updated the customer. I ordered twice and both times there were issues. They refunded me on the recent order as it had been 2 weeks and they hadnt even shipped yet. Try Pike Brothers or another company. Stick to brick and mortar guys, your online business is amature at best.

We accidentally stumbled upon Dandys and to our surprise, it has now become one of our favorite stores. After being greeted by Kristopher and enjoying genuine conversation (which doesnt happen all that often in retail anymore) we decided to schedule a suit fitting. On our second trip, we were certainly not disappointed. Wendy helped up get set up and was very patient and informative with the suit material and explaining the process. Chris was precise and knew what we was talking about while taking the measurements. This was by far one of the best experiences with a suit fitting that I have ever had. They have an amazing store with very unique products. Since we came in under budget, my wife also let me buy a vintage safety razor. Great place. Great people. Great experience.

Ive been buying clothing at Bykowski/Dandys for a few years now. I think it is rare to deserve 5 stars but this store does. The clothes have a unique style, Chris and Wendy (the owners & operators) are friendly and knowledgeable, and I cant recommend their made to order clothing enough--Chris is meticulous getting the correct fit.

I love it! Very great work done I get all of my suits done their. Its not expensive for custom suits. Like seriously 700$ for a custom suit is amazing! The couple who own it are very sweet and nice and they remember who I am and respect me and give me rewards for being a repeat customer. But dont go in their the day before your wedding or event you need a suit for and expect it be done with the snap of a finger. It doesnt work that way and that is very rude to expect them too. But like I said a amazing suit shop that does 1880s-1920s to modern, so stop by and give it a try.

Christopher and his wife Wendy own this little gem. Over the last couple of years Ive gotten to know them both and theyre wonderful people. At first you might be a little put off if what you see in their windows isnt your style - more Boardwalk Empire than Wolf of Wall Street. But Christopher has made me numerous items of clothing including custom shirts and they have all come out fantastically (all in a modern style). Additionally, I love the variety they offer (be prepared to dig through several sample books if you want). This is truly a small business and you will not be treated like a number as you might in a large chain store.

Closed when their hours said open with no explanation (nothing on social media either). Called and was told they were closed today (Saturday).Will update my rating if/when we make it back to the store.

What an amazing, one-of-a-kind shop! Owned by very friendly locals with a pet pig (Daisy) that greets customers. Fully custom-tailored and hand-crafted clothing, bags, hats, and pretty much everything else. This place has more character and high-quality mens wear than any place Ive ever seen. You have to stop in and check it out.

If you seek an incredible tailor, look no further than Bykowski Tailor and Garb. The staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful, their product is top-notch, and they make the process of custom suiting quite smooth. I’ve had one suit made by them, and purchased quite a bit of supplementary garb (ties, suspenders, pocket squares, and shirts) from them and have never had a single solitary complaint. They’ll dress you from head to toe, except for the underwear. They even kept the secret of my engagement from my fiancee!

I needed a suit for my wedding, but was worried that I wouldnt be able to get a custom made suit in time, as my wedding was a month out. They assured me they could get it done, and sure enough, they did. I just picked up my custom dark green beautiful suit this afternoon. The owners were very accommodating and helpful. They have several hand made hats, handmade shoes, shirts, ties, slacks, etc. The owners are very nice and very willing to design you a suit tailored to your specific needs.

Moved into the neighborhood and loved the window display so went inside. The lady behind the counter greeted me... but she was too busy talking to people to assist in an actual sale. I did interject at one point that I decided to buy a pocket watch but she continued her conversation with a couple. As they were leaving another person came in and even though I was standing at the counter she ignored me and helped him with his concern that the store must not have his correct email... as she was helping him with the email issue another person entered and she asked the email guy if he minded if she assisted the new person as he was just there to pick up an item.. Nothing was asked or spoken to me.. YET I WAS RIGHT AT THE COUNTER. So 2 people went ahead of me. I departed as she continued with the email correction.Obviously social hour is more important than actual sales.

I love this place. For tailors who actually make good custom shirts and suits, theres Liles in Raleigh NC, Mr. Guy in St. Louis, an Austin tailor Vasile Hotnog, and Dandys. Dandys has probably the best price and equally excellent service. They also sell my favorite shavers, hair and beard products, and little extra things like the best frankincense in town. Ive probably bought 7 shaving kits from them as gifts.

I have walked passed Dandys numerous times and have always wanted to go in to look and/or shop for my boyfriend. Right before Christmas, I was looking for gifts for him so I headed to Dandys. Right when I walked in, a man was yelling at the girl behind the counter about how people are not supposed to touch the window displays. She saw me and started to greet me and he immediately cuts her off with Im not done talking to you. Needless to say, thats not a warm welcome. I wandered over to look at some of the clothing as he continued his rant about how he owns the store and if he doesnt want his window displays touched then thats how it will be. He quickly shuffled into the back (behind a curtain) where he continued to mumble. Then he yelled from the back that he was leaving. The apparel is nice and they have some really cool stuff but the prices are really high to me and for the fact that the owner chose to yell at his employee in front of a customer rather than let her help me, was extremely rude.
