I would say the whole team is very helpful. One thing I really appreciated was when the install technician, Lawrence, came to my home, he let me know some things that I didnt need or was able to work with some equipment I already had in place. He helped existing things work along with what I installed from them. I really appreciated that. For me, it spoke to the integrity of the BSG group that they arent all about how much they can sell me, but about doing what is best for me and providing complete/full security coverage for my property but also in an economical manner. Lawrence worked really hard, answered all. my questions and helped me feel completely comfortable with how to use my new system and all that it had to offer. Entire experience was great! Beginning with Kevin providing detailed information, recommendations and easy to understand quote with no hidden or extra fees/costs. We have used BSG services several times over the last many years to manage our home audio/video systems. We installed a Control 4 system which they tied into the rest of everything we already had and recently upgraded to include a Roku which works well with the existing equipment we already had and now tied to the phone for easier use. Can’t say enough good things about their top notch staff who are always courteous and quick to make good suggestions. Highly recommend them!

I had BSG pre-wire my new home for surround sound and then used them to choose and install the system after move-in. The price with installation was in line with the best prices I could find online for the components themselves, so theyre able to make money via their discount deal with Klipsch without having to up-charge you.The system (5x PRO-16RC + 1x SPL100SW with Denon AVR-1600H) sounds (and looks) great.

BSG was great. Our sales guy Will Pacheco, was very up front and honest, he negotiated a fair price for us. They came out and hooked us up within a few days of calling. The price was less than I have paid in the past with other big name companies. The application for the alarm is very user friendly and can be administered from the computer as well. Tim and Adam did an excellent job installing our 7.1 surround sound system, flat screens and LAN. They even came back to accurately troubleshoot an issue with our LAN that turned out to be a bad switch. These guys are the best! I am unsure of why 2 reviews say they lied about the moving clause. This review is for my new system in my new home. 8 months ago I signed up in a small apartment. when I moved 2 months ago I was let out of the agreement as said was promised after showing old lease and new lease. I decided not to do a new one in my new home right away. After hearing of a break-in near bye I didnt hesitate to call Builders Security Group again . This time a different rep was sent over named Andre, Andre was so knowledgeable and concerned for our safety. install went great. expectations were set and met. wasnt trying to give me unnecessary upgrades to pad his pocket as has been done to me through other companies. customer service answered with no hold time when testing it out. couldnt really ask for more here.

We were in need of a security system and Maria came out and talked to me. She was professional and knowledgeable. After I signed the paperwork she had someone come out the next day to install the system. It is very easy to use. I did have some alerts come up on my phone and I called to find out what to do and they answered my questions right away and they were fixed. I would recommend them to anyone.

Major props to Sam, who spent nearly a year helping me settle on the media room of my dreams.BSG was the low-voltage contractor for the new house I was building. I first met Sam when I did the initial design meeting. After choosing floors and counters, Sam was there to go over all of the LV stuff. Even from this first meeting, he never rushed me, and made me feel like it was my home to build perfectly (and not a choice between some predetermined options). We ended up walking the model home together, debating potential locations for data drops and diagraming where certain prewiring should go.After that, it was a matter of waiting on construction to begin (and ultimately finish). Even though the house wouldn’t be ready for 10 months, Sam remained responsive and friendly, and did a lot of research on my behalf. We had discussed a media room and had mapped out where to prewire for speakers. But the actual media set up wouldn’t happen until after I had closed on the home.Even so, Sam took the time to figure out what I cared most about and would come back with options. But he never sent me just a quote of the various options — each email was a novel of comparisons, information, and context that was all tailored to my specific concerns.By the time I moved in, Sam had created tailored solutions for me — both with the media room and the security system. I didn’t have to buy anything I didn’t want, and he never pushed me. He just built new quotes based only on what I selected.When it was time for installation, the team was friendly and competent and I knew I didn’t need to worry. They spent two days on my install, even crawling through the attic to properly brace and support my projector. They took the time to program everything and then walk me through what I needed to know. Now I can turn my entire theater setup on and off from the light switch, and control everything from my phone. Even better—if I pause the show, the room lights come on at 1/3rd brightness so I’m never sitting in the dark.And most importantly, while the internet melted over Game of Thrones Season 8 Episode 3 being the darkest thing ever filmed, I was watching every moment with perfect clarity thanks to the true black capability of my system. I recently meet with Sam at BSG to purchase a new security system for my house. Sam took a great amount of time asking me questions to make sure we covereed all my safety and security concerns. Sam made many great recommendations, he presented these items as recommendations but did not trying to upsale me. Installation was easy and smooth. The BSG team is extremely helpful. After my installation Sam called to make sure everything went smooth with my install and to see if I had any questions. BSG is defiantly customer focused. Would highly recommended.

We move very often and chose this company do to no cancellation fee when moving. Well thats my problem they lied. We called to tell them we moved and they will let you out of your contact if you sell it to the next resident of your house. We had nothing good to say about this large liar company. Wont call back when alarm goes off cops dont show up for 50 minutes. Not Good Stay Away.

I received a Call from Maria with BSG wanting to get my security system business in my brand new home, However, I had already scheduled another company to install a system in my new home. Maria asked if I would be willing to let her try to compete with the offer I already had and I was happy to do so since the other company had advised they could not do the install for a week after I placed the order. Not only was Maria able to beat the price, she gave me me additional equipment I would not have received with the other company and the equipment installed was State of the Art. Including iPad style control panels, wireless technology as well as HD-1080P cameras. All of which I can set up and monitor from my Phone. Not only that but It was installed the next day and Maria personally came by to see how the install was going. My Great experience did not end with Maria. The installer assigned to my order was Jeffery. This man was the nicest and most pleasant person I have ever had in my home to do service work. He took his time and the install was perfection. No visible wires, and everything was installed and mounted in a manner that made it look like the components were built with the home. Jeffery sat down and went over the programming and phone app with me and gave me his personal number to call him directly if I had any problems. Overall I would give BSG an A++ grade and would highly recommend Maria, Jeffery and the team at BSG for anyone looking for a state of the art security system for their home. From day one these guys were a problem. They were the subcontractor my home builder used so I didn’t have much choice but use them. At the design meeting, I indicated I wasn’t interested in any other products except prewiring for security. When I told the sales rep I had a relationship with a rep from another security company, For the rest of our interaction, he described my contact as “ya boy.”I ordered the prewired windows. They did not deliver. The builder was helpful overcoming that obstacle. To BSGs credit, they did competently prewire my doors.When my alarm company came to install their equipment, they had a great deal of difficulty finding the prewire for the keypad. I called our builder (who again was super helpful) and he suggested that I contact BSG. The rep on the phone was rude to me ultimately saying “well if you can’t find the prewire for the keypad and you have a different alarm company on site, it’s their problem now.” Perhaps literally true but wildly unprofessional to say like that.In short: the company seems to have a problem with unprofessional employees and questionable work - based on my experience with them. Under no circumstances should you employ these people.

Quick Setup, great experience with Willie from the Sales Team, installation team was quick & professional.

Do not do business with this company. They have only a small area that they cover and if you move you have to pay 80% of the remaining contract (3 years). Go with a more global alarm company that you can transfer if/when you move.
