Yesterday I brought in my F 900 XR for its initial service. I was very impressed with the relaxed professionalism and attention to a friendly service atmosphere. They took care of all the required steps for the initial scheduled service. I especially want to mention one thing that they did showing attention to detail and going that extra mile. I had installed a kickstand pad and two of the screws were missing. I didn’t mention it, I was going to take care of it myself. When I got the bike back they had replaced the screws and noted it in the service receipt. They saw what needed to be done and just did it.

I have had nothing but great service here. Whoever is managing the staff is doing something right, because everyone I have interacted with in the few years Ive been bringing my motorcycle for service has been friendly and helpful. Mark especially is on top of things and does a great job communicating.

Great experience with the service!I punctured my rear tire on Saturday of the Easter weekend near Marble Falls while on a 4 day trip. I called RideNow and the nice people there promised to wait for me and stay late to replace my tire. Then they took the extra time to also replace my rear brake pads when they saw they were worn. The technician found one of my mirrors was loose on the test ride and tightened it, too.Best service ever received! Will definitely be back! Thank you all for saving my trip!!!Thank you, Mike, Nick, Sean and Daniel.

I took my brand new 1250rt here after moving to Texas. The moving company caused some minor damage. My initial visit I thought this place was a good fit.But I was so wrong. It took several months for I get my motorcycle back. And that is after many false it will be ready dates by Andrew Cooper. The windshield was not the one I requested. Andrew tried telling me it was the right one. But eventually agreed.I have been going back and forth for several more months with Andrew about getting the right one ordered. He rarely responds and when he does I get blown off with more empty promises it will get resolved. With this place representing BMW it is a shame and embarrassing.I waited to leave this review hoping they would finish my bike. But I give up. And wanted to share my experience so others can be warned.

Had some questions about a part number from a part I bought on eBay that was supposed to be for an F800ST. Sean ran the number from the parts bag and helped me learn that it was for an f800GS. He ordered the proper hardware for me and was very kind and pro to deal with. I will be scheduling soon to bring my bike in for it’s 50,000ml service and I am really excited for them to get the work done proper.

I was riding cross-country when I got a flat up in the Hill Country. Nate, and Brain in the service department were able to get me back on the road with a new tire first thing the next morning and I completed my ride home to Pittsburgh. These are top-notch people. Thank you very much

While passing through town, I discovered the brake light on my 310gs was stuck on. It nearly caused an inattentive driver to rear end me. I called here and spoke to Brian, who told me to bring it in. Within less than 30 minutes he had me fixed and up and running. Great people here! They really care about their riders. Thanks to them, I can finish my trip with confidence.

I was giving my new bmw 650 a test trip from New Orleans. I ran into some computer problems and was worried since the bike is practically new. I took spoke to Riley here at BMW and he tried to get me in right away. After the mechanics took care of the issue quickly I was able to meet with their lead man Dusty for him to explain the work that was done. Dusty did a superb job of checking with the mechanics for clarification and information to make me feel much more confident to continue doing long trip on this bike. He was detailed and friendly and took fantastic care of me. We already talked about me scheduling my maintenance in Austin for the years to come. I cant recommend this place enough. They really know what they are doing and being able to trust your mechanic shop is number 1 when youre putting your life in their hands on the road. Thanks again guys.

I took my 2017 BMW GS Adventure in due to the cruise control failing. They kept it for two weeks, and said it was fixed. I picked it up and it wouldn’t work on the way home. Dropped it off the next day. They again kept it for two weeks, then called and said it was fixed. Drove it home, still broken. They’ve had my bike for over a month and haven’t fixed it. I don’t understand how they claim the problem was fixed when the cruise control fails within 5 minutes of me picking it up..... twice. On top of that, the first two weeks they had it, I was told the bike would be ready a certain day. That day came and went and I heard nothing. A few days later I called and was given another estimated date. That day came and went and I heard nothing. I was displeased that no one was keeping me up to date and I was in the dark for two weeks. To be fair, I mentioned this to the staff, and during the second two weeks they had my bike, I received updates and was pleased with the improved communication. However the second time I drove the bike home and the cruise control failed, I pulled over to call and let them know. I spoke to a receptionist and was transferred to voicemail. I called back and politely insisted I needed to speak to a service manager (this has been going on over a month after all). The receptionist then copped a snarky attitude and was rude/dismissive. The service manager was polite and attempted to be accommodating. Finally, my bike was taken back a third time. Being frustrated with the whole ordeal, I called BMW of San Antonio and spoke to one of their service staff. With a 15 minute conversation, and without ever seeing the bike, they were pretty sure there was a problem with the ABS sensor. So I called Austin BMW/Woods Fun Center and suggested this may be the problem. Miraculously, three days later they called me, informed me they finally fixed the problem, and found it to be the ABS sensor. This level of incompetence has no rival. From now on, Ill drive the few extra miles to BMW San Antonio to avoid having to deal BMW Austin. Another dealership was able to diagnose the problem correctly in a 15 minute conversation, whereas BMW Austin had my bike for a total of 5 weeks, and only fixed it after I suggested the solution. If I could give this review zero stars I would.

Woods Fun Center/BMW Austin has provided the best customer service and shopping experience I have ever had. I was assisted by sales associate Brandon Napier, who not only gave me a fantastic deal, but also went out of his way to handle the majority of the paperwork over the phone, find me the cheapest lender, and trailer the bike to my house. That is customer service I have never experienced elsewhere, and I am truly grateful to Brandon and the staff for the my new bike and the awesome experience they provided me with. They have a very wide spectrum of motorcycles, and I do believe that you will not only find what you are looking for, but also receive the top notch service as well. I have used their service department multiple times in the past, and they are just as good. I highly recommend!!

Lone Star Crew,I wanted to write in and let you know how pleased I am about my recent purchase of a 2012 Triumph Bonneville T100. From the minute I walked onto the floor I was greeted by Ben. He answered the few questions I had regarding purchasing a new motorcycle, finance options, and models available. I was a little apprehensive, but Ben was super cool and did not pressure me at all. We setup a test ride for the following day. The next day, Ben was flexible with changing the test ride time and had everything ready to go when I arrived, even a spare helmet. 10 minutes into the ride, I was sold. When we got back to the shop, Ben worked on the details with the GM until we were all comfortable. Again, no pressure. I cannot stress enough how much I appreciate that. Ben gets a gold star in my book.Jenny was also great in setting me up with insurance. I was going to just go with my current carrier but she took 10 minutes to get me a quote, and when I called my insurance company, they quoted me $60 more than what Jenny had provided me. She was very personable and thorough, and had me insured in no time so I could ride away when I came in to pick up my new Bonneville.I really wish I could remember the cool cats name that helped me with helmets. He was entirely knowledgeable and pointed out some key features from the different manufacturers, and gave me some pointers on selecting the perfect helmet. Even better, the helmet I chose was just the right color and on SALE! Love it.Lone Star really connects with their customers. Every rider that came in while I was in the shop seemed genuinely pleased to be doing business there. Plenty of smiles and chuckles.I am now the proud owner of my first Bonneville and will be using Lone Star as my point of contact for all things Triumph.Thank you all for such a pleasant experience. You will definitely be seeing me in the shop again, and I will recommend Lone Star every chance I get.--Remy

I rarely write reviews online, but after my first visit to BMW Motorcycles Austin I was very impressed with their customer service. I am not even a licensed rider, but plan to be in the next month or so after taking the basic rider course. I was afraid once the staff found out I was not there to buy a bike that day that they would lose interest. I first met Sean who deals in the BMW/Triumph section of the store and he was very helpful. He showed me several new and used bikes, started them up for me, let me sit on as many as I wanted, rev the engines (this is cool for someone who has never ridden a motorcycle before!). He spent over 30 minutes with me going over several different bikes. After that I ventured over to the helmet section and was greeted by Brian who then spent at least 30 minutes with me showing various helmets and allowing me to try on as many as I like. He probably would have helped me longer, but I was running out of time before having to head to work. BMW Austin will be the first place I look for a bike after getting licensed in the near future. They have a great selection of European and Japanese bikes, and a friendly staff.

I was never really fond of this place, but Brandon Napier turned things right around for me. He greeted me with enthusiasm that is only bested by your dog when you walk through the door of your home. Very knowledgeable and not pushy at all! What you see is what you get. He made my 2015 S1000RR purchase easier than ordering a happy meal and he even supersized my order. Ive never taken on debt this fast before. Even after taking my money, he still bends over backwards on service to make you happy. Im a customer for life if things dont change.

Brandon Napier at Lone Star BMW/Triumph made my purchase experience incredibly easy and enjoyable. If you are in the market for a new or pre-owned motorcycle, I highly recommend visiting this establishment and speaking with Brandon. He was enthusiastic, answered all of my first time buyer questions, had great product knowledge, people skills, and gusto about the brand to make your purchase one to remember.

I have been looking at a BMW GS for awhile. I called Lone Star and asked if a test ride was available, the answer was yes. When I came in to the dealership I was greeted by Brandon Napier. He worked to figure out what I was interested in. It was pretty obvious that I wanted a GS. Brandon showed me the features of the bike, then asked if I was wanting to take a test ride. Since I didnt have my gear I set up to come back the next day. Long story short loved the bike but was debating between the GS and the GS adventure. Over the next week I came in a couple of times to look at both bikes. Brandon was super helpful and patiently answered all my questions. I decided on a R1200GS Adventure, on a Saturday with short notice they got the bike prepped and made me a great deal.I worked with Sales (Brandon) and the parts (Matthew Tedtaotao) and the entire experience was enjoyable. They were quick to bring me back to the shop to answer all the questions I had. I enjoyed the time just BSing about bikes, I would recommend the dealership and Brandon and Matt to any buyer.

Worst experience ever! Dropped my bike off to have it maintained (oil change, brake fluid, check) the same day. 8 days (!!) later Im there (after calling to verify that the bike is done). They are finishing up they said. So I wait. 2 hours. Every 25-30 minutes I hear:They are just finishing up. In the meanwhile I called around and there are plenty of other locations (not Lone Star) that promise a 24 turn around on service. Will take my bike there instead next time!

BMW Motorcycles (Motorrad?) of Austin is located in/by Woods Fun Center but doesnt seem to share the same sales staff or service desk; Im sure there is a franchise rule in place that keeps things separate. The guys here are knowledgable but there doesnt seem to be more than two on the floor at any given time; this is likely due to the loftier tier of product and higher price point. The only criticism I have is that the customer waiting area is amongst the clothing racks and offers no real diversion (TV, coffee, plugins for phones or laptops) for those waiting on service. Mitigating this somewhat is that the couches and seats are comfortable enough- no DMV chairs.Amusingly enough I was there for five minutes when a very congenial Elder Statesman of the Road, with beard to match, approached and offered me slices of poundcake from a platter. I doubt this is considered a regular perk of service but shows Woods/BMWMoA are some friendly, low-pressure folks, which isnt what one expects from the biggest dealer in the region.

Do not fall for the bogus reviews. This place is a corporatized money printing machine. Woods fun Center bought Lonestar BMW and has totally ruined it. I bought my GSA from LoneStar right before these crooks took over and really feel betrayed. The PRE PAID BMW maintenance I bought is now a complete JOKE. I call to schedule my annual, and nobody answers, call and call, get put on hold, wait and wait, hung up on. Finally get through and they take your info and tell you someone will call you back eventually. The place is a total rip off. From the absolute first second you walk though the door the quota vultures eyeball you, and if you are a juicy morsel, they have one goal : To squeeze every possible dime from you, get you out the door, and hope to never see your face again. Once they have your money all they care about is never seeing you again. Service.... FORGET IT. That high priced BMW experience you paid the 300% markup for from LoneStar... sucka. Get in line behind every other sucka in Austin with a Hondahazuki. All those Billy Bob was great ! got me the Ninja of my dreams reviews... complete BULL5h1T3. Anybody can sell a fool a nice bike. Wait till you need an oil change or a new part. Then.. Its like calling the DMV. Shame on you Woods.
