Without Mrs Geraldine❤ (2 HOURS, from1-2pm), Id not have any clue what I needed/wanted. She was so helpful, caring, knowledgeable, multitasking, cause she was day manager and still spent 2 HOURS without a fuss. TOP NOTCH CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE AND SERVICE. All sales associates were kind, caring, knowledgeable with smiles. LOVE YA ALL.Then went back to Marshalls, bought another sweater, needed matching yarn AND OMG, FRANCES, WHAT WAS SOOOOOO WRONG, YES, maybe you had bad DAY BUT DONT BRING TO WORK. I TRIED OVER AN HOUR, you ok, need a hug, tried to make jokes, helped her restock shelves. All ok, why you treating me like I was bothering YOU. I HAD TO FORCE HER TO HELP ME, She gave me 1 yarn at half price, WOW AFTER I TRIED DO HARD TO PUT A SMILE ON HER FACE, REALLY??? IDK, I dont get some people? At the end I AGAIN offered another hug AND/OR VIRTUAL HUG (DUE TO COVID),(u could tell something was bothering her, even other shoppers felt it to!!!), and said I LOVE YOU. HER RESPONSE, GAVE ME HER BACK and walked back to the office? 🤷‍♀️Spent 1st trip (Geraldine) under $300, with Frances about $60. Its upsetting to have a sales associate, WAIT THE NIGHT MANAGER treat customers like that. NOT 1 SMILE. AT SEVERAL TIMES GAVE ME THAT LOOK, SHAKING HER HEAD, ROLLING THE EYES, LIKE go AWAY. WELL Cest La Vie. Hope she feels better or FIND ANOTHER JOB!!!

Love this store for all my craft needs. I always find whatvI want, and could also make orders online. Particularly like their buy one get one 50% off offer on craft kits for kids. I have twin God children and those discounts really help out 😉With the pandemic we also have gotten into knitting and crochet.

Extremely unpleasant shopping experience, voucher and sale item issues--First issue: Journals on sale were extremely difficult to identify apart from normal-priced items and I had to walk across the store multiple times to get what I was looking for.Second issue: I tried to use a voucher from the Michaels app and neither the cashier nor the manager were able to recognize that the voucher had gone through and I almost left without my items.The saving grace: The framer employee Elijah was able to help me find the journals on sale and able to show the purchase went through so I could take my items. Thank you, Elijah for being the only good part about this experience. I probably wouldnt choose this store again otherwise.2 Stars, but only because I was able to buy my items at the end.

I had purchased online with the option of curbside pickup. I got to the store 4 minutes after 6pm, so when I got there the curbside pick up was no longer available. No big deal...I went inside and couldnt find the register for online purchases... well, as they told me,, you still have to wait in line with all the customers that are purchasing in-store, so the fact that you have already paid doesnt make you save a minute. I had at least 8 people ahead of me, and only 2 registers operating.When I finally got to the register I found out that one of the items I had ordered wasnt available. That is the item my daughter needed the next day for a project in school, and I is also the reason I had rushed to the store even if I didnt have time.I wish they had mentioned in the text of confirmation of my order that that item, in that size wasnt available. I could have chosen a replacement instore, instead of having to go back in the store and waiting in line a second time to pay that extra item. I love the this store, but I didnt appreciate this lack of coordination that made me waste time (with a baby and a toddler)

Love this store! Glad they were open for business. Bought a bunch of baking stuff before the pandemic. Everything you need to produce and decorate cakes, breads etc. This time I stopped by to buy a simple DIY picture frame, found a large selection in the size I needed. Its stimulating to the creative side of everyone just walking the aisles, from textile crafts to real artists paints, brushes and canvases. Prices are a bit higher than buying online or in big department stores, but the service and selection along with parking make shopping there pleasurable.

The store is okay. Kind of small and cramped compared to other stores. The store in Pines I prefer more.The associates there are much friendlier than here and always want to help you. Here, its just okay.. They dont seem to like their job. I kind of regret purchasing all my things from here. I wont visit again unless I have to.

CURBSIDE FAIL UPDATE: So I get now a 5th text that my “order is ready got pickup”.. That’s 5 consecutive days of fail fail fail..”CURBSIDE FAIL: Poor customer service and failed online ordering system. The attitude and utter pompas tone of arrogance from the young girl acting manager or whatever her senseless role is simply put, unacceptable. Fix your inventory management and correct the immature behavior of this staff member.

I only go when I need something specific and always check the website first to see if its in store and every time I get there its not. This has happened 3 times recently so Im giving up on going altogether.

Dissapointed. No other word for it. Went there to buy a double side-by-side certificate frame. They didnt have it. So why the 2 star review? Because they had an amazing amount of frames, and an amazing amount of those frames were the exact same repetitious frame. Yet, they have a craft shop where they make frames in-store. I asked the male frames associate who was busy with banter that was clearly annoying the female frames associate (yup, I could see the look on her face even through the mask), if a frame like that existed in the store, obviously that was a no. I asked the ballpark cost of making one, and that ballpark cost drove me right out the store. This is the reason online shopping gets the business, because of the lack of variety inside a store where that variety can be manufactured, and the cost of a frame equal to about a months worth of gas.

I just visited Michaels for the second time this week and received the worst customer service experience from an associate at the register.I applied the 20% discount on my purchase and was very nice to her but she would not even respond back, when my friend decided to check out after me she did not want to apply the 20% discount to her order.The first time we came in this week the young lady at the register Long or Lung I can’t remember her name, asked us If we knew about the discount and even applied it herself. She was very sweet and very attentive.Highly disappointed in the customer service difference the store has :( .

“Curbside pickup” is an absolute joke. If you can’t handle the volume don’t offer the service. I ordered ONE item at 9am under the assumption it would take just a few hours to be ready for pickup, 24 hours later still not ready. I called right before they were supposed stop curbside pickup and the young lady who answers was SUPER rude, a simple “we’re sorry for the delay sir” would’ve been great. You guys suck!

The store was very disorganized mainly the un- knowledgeable staff. I ask several people for a certain item. And was told they side have. Then while talking to a customer he showed me exactly what I wanted and information the employees couldnt answer. It was as if I was a bother to them. Exception was the young African American man at the framing department. Although they wouldnt sell me what I needed.. Because they wanted to do the framing . he was knowledgeable in several aspects of the store. The store is Great for sale items otherwise very expensive

PURCHASE ELSEWHEREDO NOT ORDER CURBSIDE!!! Ordered multiple items, only to receive a cancellation within 15 minutes! They dont want to honor the coupon codes, and the staff doesnt want to work! I sent someone to pickup since they cant fulfill my order, only to be told he can not be helped!!! My advice would be to NOT order from here and shop Hobby Lobby or AMAZON!Ill spend money where its needed & wanted!!UPDATE!!!Spoke with the corporate office and was told the order was not in fact canceled by them, but in fact canceled by this store directly. My assumption is they DID NOT want to work! I was mislead by the manager, and told that this was a corporate issue. Well he lied! How dare a person that runs a large store, not honor a customers purchase. This doesnt make sense whatsoever! This is set up for convenience to the public, so if you have LAZY workers or LAZY managers, maybe they should consider working in a different field.

They have nice items. Staff is okay when they want to help. The prices are high on some items, I find the same items cheaper somewhere else. They do there best to keep the shelves stocked which is good. Around the holidays is when their customer service skills really steps up.

Here’s the thing, this store is amazing and I love what they have to offer, but the check out situation is horrendous. Maybe they’re just understaffed, I’m not sure. No matter what time of day you come here, whether it’s 10am or 7pm, you’ll be waiting in line for a solid 20 minutes.

Good assortment of all people that you can need regarding crafting, painting, embellishing artificial flowers and plants, all you need related to art creation, good frames but the caddies have to stay in the store.

Michaels has a great selection of craft supplies however, I found out the hard way that you can only return an item if you have the receipt or at the time of purchase you noted the return option on the card swipe keypad. You must do this for every purchase....
