Menards is huge, you feel like a tiny fish in an ocean ; great selection of everything especially electrical lights, patio furniture, grocery, doors, appliances. Most of the employees were lost doing their jobs, the only person who really helped was Adam the manger, customer services as a whole needs to be improved by hiring more educated workforce. The cashier did not know her managers’ name!!!! Their rebate of 11% was good but old school must mail it in not online, most credit accept it

Great Menards store in the area. Plenty of parking available and handicap accessible. They offer a pretty decent selection of anything from tools to gardening equipment to building supplies. The employees were very friendly and helpful with all our needs. I found the exact item I was looking for at a better price than other stores I had looked. The gardening section was a bit picked over but it is nearing the end of the season so it’s understandable. The selection of patio furniture and such items were still well stocked. The restrooms were clean and well kept. Overall we had a great experience and would recommend to anyone looking for home improvement items.

Got in, got helped and got out ... just that easy! Store is exceptionally clean and organized with plenty of associates around who were willing to help. Any chance of installing a moving sidewalk or offering shuttle service from one end of the store to the other please? Almost needed Google Maps to find the department I needed.

Store is great and has lots of options/products, just make sure what you need is in stock and doesnt need to be ordered. Every time I have to order something that is not in stock in comes in WEEKS or MONTHS after they say it will be there. First time this happened to me it took over 2 months for items to come in, second time was about a week and now the third time its been three weeks already and customer service said may a few more weeks. I guess after three times of this I have learned that if an item is not in stock to just go to a different big box store. The order times/estimates are always way off and leave you with half completed projects with no true ETA of when you will get your materials. The one time when i went to pick up items that I ordered (on the estimated arrival date) they informed me that they didnt even order the items to be sent to the store yet.

They usually have what we need but it is difficult to find smaller items with only a general area showing where the item is SUPPOSED to located.They really need to update their system to display AT LEAST the aisle, if not the aisle and bin, for the item. As sorry as HD and Lowes are with products, you can find them quickly instead of searching and then finding a rep. who can pull up the location on THEIR computer.

Me and my husband bought kitchen cabinets and countertops for our new home and Francia Veller the employee for Menards was amazing! She really knew what she was doing. Menards is very blessed to have someone like her such intelligence and so nice. She listened to what we wanted but yet gave us her input on things we should do.

Always lots of great finds from lighting to gardening and today I found by accident that they carry a gourmet line of baking items...the one I was searching for...Caramel Extract...didnt even know the stuff existed...and walking thru the store they feature the whole line...who would have guessed that???

Everything about buying lumber and renting their pickup truck was a zero star experience. The lumber sales rep couldn’t figure out which plywood we were trying to purchase on the website instead of looking at the physical items on our cart. He provided no instruction on where we would end up finding the rest of lumber we were purchasing, so after we rented the truck, we drove around in the lumber yard trying to find an associate to help, wasting precious minutes of our 75 minute rental. The truck rental itself took a half an hour to complete and I was assured the bed was clean, as we were transporting maple plywood and other white wood items for interior cabinetry use, however the truck bed was covered in wet mulch and mulch stained water, ruining our lumber. The truck then took 20 minutes to return, as the customer service line was 6 parties deep and no one came to assist the poor cashier.

What a horrible staff and business. After walking around trying to find help in the garden center (to no suprise I was not successful) I proceeded to lift the 50lb bags of mulch in my cart myself. Then after checking out, I ask for help at least loading them in my car. I was told to wait outside and that he would be out in a moment. Of course I standing there in 88 degree weather waiting with no one to walk out, I just did it myself. I could have used the help, having numerous issues with my back. I will never recommend this place to anyone. Such horrible and unacceptable service.

Love the building materials set up.Get your paperwork,pay pull around and load. So you dont have to push 500 lbs through the store then load.Plus the wood quality is far better than the other box improvement stores.Got my menards card so it safe to say Ill be back 👍

Since the tax exempt bar code would not scan I had to pay tax, double taxation is illegal. Not allowed to use i.d. no nor phone number. A better system should be in place like other home stores. So, a customer lost.

They had what I was looking forand price was good. Even made in USA and Canada.

Visited this Menards and went through the cash register and noticed the manager on duty was leaning against the service counter playing catch with another employee and when I had asked the cashier if I could get another copy of the receipt he looked at her and she proceeded to laugh at me and say no and to have a good night and then walked away. I’m not sure what kind of customer service this is but not what it should be

I wasnt aware that you have to self serve for lumber if you dont have it delivered. I want to thank Will who was out there in a tow motor and offered me help. Together, with an employee and a tow motor, it took us an hour. Thank goodness for Will! He gets a 5 star himself! The guy that didnt explain to me that it was self serve does not. But at least I could inspect the wood because with a previous delivery I got some sub par lumber.

I do like shopping here. But not happy that you no longer get the11% discount at the register. I have sent 2 different rebates in . Its now been 4 months and still no rebate in the mail. So why shop here if I cant get the rebate. Prices are not really and better without the rebate/ discount

Menards has a unique inventory. Theyre stores contain a wide selection of Home improvement items and also Sporting Goods, Snacks and so much more. Priced competitvely and great quality. Beautiful building, outstanding selection. Horrible service. Ordered online and went to pick it up. Not was the order incomplete. They had sold 1 of them. The order was placed more than a week before I went to pick them up.

Was my wifes first time in Menards, she loved the store. However, the employees were very rude when we were checking out. At first, we were standing in line behind some people and we were looking at items on the shelves and then the people in front of us got done and the cashier was like hey are you guys checking out all sarcastically and then I was like $2 short and since they were closing she would not let me go out to my vehicle and grab the rest of the money so I had to put one of the items I had back and then to top it all off Ive pulled the card out of the card reader before I should have and she made me look like an idiot for doing so.

There was a lady who was off the clock and was going home. She went outside and a flat bed cart for us. I wish I would have gotten her name, she also got a manager to help also.

Well, here goes. The Brookpark location was great until I had an encounter with a very nasty attitude person who happened to be the department supervisor. She had a very sour attitude as if was annoying her when I approached her. I left to speak to a Manger and I was informed she was. Im forwarding a letter to Corporate. VERY NASTY AND SHORT.

Ive been going to Menards for at least 35-40 years or more. The store in Avon is similar to those stores in WI but smaller. I like the displays for flooring (better organized) and they seem to offer better variety of items. I would prefer self checkout and, like all the other box stores, no touch less pay

Avoid ordering their kits ( post frame) or utilizing there have design services. They substituted tons of wood that does not account for 6ft on centers so you have joints in middle of nowhere. Garage door no spring bar, metal trim is so far off I cant begin to tell you....Ive spent $250 in just 2x4s in order to complete project and another $100 in metal trim...so far

Best Menards ever!!! Your employees are the best! In particular a young man named Bryce. He went above and beyond to help my elderly mother. The only riding cart up front wasnt working, so he tracked down one for her, and even sanitized it! She has bad knees and cant walk super far. Thank you Bryce for making her day! You dont see such care for customers these days, and what you did really stands out! The store is east to navigate, and every employee we encountered was very friendly and helpful.

Im very pleased to say that after going to several claimed experts in new kitchen cabinetry & countertop renovations (Lowes, Home Depot, and others), Menards was the ONLY location that satisfied our needs. Not only did they physically seek us out to help (when you could find someone to help in every other location, they appeared to be either bothered or not at all interested in helping) but they had the skills to work the software required to draft out our new kitchen plans (everyone else had to consult with a third party vendor...and they all said that there could be additional charges...really!?). The young ladies at Menards gave us an exact price for what we needed, a clear completion timeline, and they even gave us a draft print of the project and materials ordered after showing us on their computer. A truly pleasant & professional shopping experience...not to mention their motivating demeanor through the entire process!Theyve earned my continued business from now on before I go anywhere else!Thank you Menards for proving that customer service is not a thing of the past...you guys rock!!!

I will NEVER shop at this location ever again. I received assistance from the manager Rory R and he was extremely rude. He was not knowledgeable AT ALL. I went to another location and received assistance and the customer service was great.

Only service dogs allowed due to COVID. The map on their app is a bit confusing when looking for an item, but their large signs labeling isles help to reorient. This place has a wide selection and everything you could possibly need and then some. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. No military or veterans discount.

Dont ever expect to receive money back on rebates. Ive mailed out 20 different rebates n many dating back when they opened in Avon and have never received a dime and yes, I included my receipt with the rebate. Menards rebates are a scam.

Great store! They always have what I need and prices are reasonable. One nice thing about Menards is their selection of products. Youre not stuck to just one or two varieties of anything. And the best is hardware. The other big box hardware stores dont carry half of the hardware Menards carries!

The people that go to menards just respect things. Polite retuning carts to the corrals and what not. Thats on top of great service and the best prices. We have even paid less than sticker price on occasion.

Went to pick up a free gift that I got for my birthday that they did not have any more on stock. Tried to replace it with something really cheap I just let him keep it wasnt worth my time. Shouldnt send people free coupons if you dont have enough in stock

So, Im giving 5 stars today because the gentleman in plumbing went and retrieved our vanity for us. And was super friendly. When we were picking out the basin. My husband asked a young lady if she could help us by sinks. She walked over pointed at them and said there they are and walked away! Completely blew my mind. There was a huge ladder at the end. We climbed it without permission so we could get the basin we needed. And was hopeful that it was the right one. The guy in plumbing assured us it was. Im sorry I didnt grab his name. But it was around 7 pm at night!

I have been a faithful customer of menards for 30 years and I have just experienced the worstcustomer service ever. Late in shipping orders and I have to pay for therein ability to in being on time. Never buy from them again!

I had a very nice people help me out to day to get the items off high shelves for my wheelbarrow, and nice friendly people bathe register for check out.

I’ve had nothing but problems with this store. I bought a bunch of decking, paid for it and when i came to pick it up, they sold 1/2 of it to someone else. They also have excessive restock fees regardless if you are looking to exchange for a more expensive option.

Not really sure why but their selection is usually limited and not up to par with other stores like home depot

However, that seems to be prevalent at other Menards locations also. Otherwise, great products and services at a very competitive price. Hopefully, theyll allow children to come on as well, even if during restricted hours to start with. Very tough for parents to make arrangements; esp. single parents. Thanks.

Did not have my size humidifier filter, and disappointed that I missed the sale on a jacket I was looking for.

First time here to pick up door ordered online. Received email notice yesterday that it was delivered to store yesterday & ready for pickup. Went to OrderPickup with copy of receipt, clerk loked up order, & we pulled around to pickup area as directed. Sigh. Not there. No apologies. They will reorder & should be in in 5 days. The only apology came from polite gate keeper on way out. Great looking, clean store. Not good 1st experience.

I like menards, problem ... I have a hard time finding stuff so I put the app in my phone save what Im looking for in list on app them show the picture to a menards associate and they help me with location. They are always willing to help.

Do not order anything from this store. Everything takes a month or more to come in. Doesnt matter how big or small it is, it will be a month. If it comes in broke, another month. This is my second bad experience with this store. After this Im done with menards. Ill gladly pay extra at home depot.April 21,Had to use my rebate money, bought a Masterforce 2 bank battery charger maintainer. Like everything else here doesnt work. 5 phone calls to Masterforce and five different responses.

I went looking for a steam cleaner one rep sent me to the other end of the store when I get there the other employee said I should check where I originally came from. The only problem is iam in heart failure and that walk kicked my butt. I will just go to Lowes and purchase it there.

Well to be honest I feel I was deceived by Menards while at one location they did not have the bathroom ensemble available and advised me to go-to the Avon location which I made the drive and they said they had it however the display did not match there pricing.. After an hour and a half of walking back and forth from the department to the checkout I came to find out that the display sale ensemble was not accurate with their pricing.. This is not good customer service they could have done more if they really appreciate the business as the say they do. All in all I really expected more for the amount of money I spent. Not sure if I will return.
