My review is based on store atmosphere, customer service, price and cool factors. I cannot comment on bike sales or mechanical service.Signature HD is a small shop that is clean an well organized. There is a decent selection of bikes and motor clothes. Pricing is average, not much on the sale rack.Pleasant employees and easy checkout.The shop will supply the locals with what they need, but lacks the cool factor that would encourage a traveler to stop in for a visit. The shop is just missing that WOW factor.
Friendly staff it can be a little pushyat times to sell your bike but I understand thats why theyre in business to sell motorcycles .if you know what youre looking for going in, they are friendly to help you find it .if they dont have it at their location they can check other locations for you.They have a large selection of new and used bikes as they take care of them so well that its hard to tell the new ones from the used ones.

I walked into this establishment to look at bikes, I am a Disabled Veteran not one person said hello. Or came over to help me. Also would be nice to put a price tag on bikes......
I just love the staff here at Lake Erie Harley-Davidson. Recently took the Riding Academy class and it is worth every penny, the instructors were awesome and really took their time to teach you how to properly ride. If youve never done it before I strongly encourage you to do it!!

Went in on a Saturday with my wheels removed from my bike and new tires with me at noon and asked if they had time to mount the new rubber. Mind you this is at noon. The gentleman behind the desk said yeah we have time but might be a couple hours till we get to it. I said no problem as long as you get to them today. Mind you this is at noon. I get a phone call at 4:15 saying they wont be able to get them till Tuesday. Would of been nice to known that at noon when I had time to take them other places. Not good customer service. Luckily I was able to pick them up and have cycle gear in north olmsted complete the job by 6 when they closed. The first apology i got was from the parts guy when i had to buy a new tube.
I personally will not be taking my bike to this service department. You have to call several times and wait on the phone for a lengthy time just to get to the service department. I made an appointment with them for first thing on a Friday morning. They picked up my bike the day before. I called at the end of day on Friday and they hadn’t looked at it stating they ran log on the previous bike. Ok, I get it, it happens. I called at the end of the next day and got the same response. I called again 3 days later and again, got the same response. I had to drive to the dealer and speak to the manager just to get something done. Not good service in my opinion...
Im really mad they didnt have obsolete parts available for a 19 year old discontinued buell! Kidding! They had the parts I needed and were quick about it.
Stopped by the dealership even though its not my dealer I deal with normally. I had a engine light on, the service guy came outside and went thru the codes and told me it was fine the light well go out soon. And it dhd. Friendly staff willing to help out anyone. Honest with integrity what else can you want

Too many incidence of management promises ... only to drop the ball. Too high of a staff turn over. Unable to get direct answers to direct questions. New ownership doesnt seem to care about the customer once they get your money. :( Took away all of the events ... and the ones that remain are no longer free! All events are now REQUIRED to pay ie chili cook off, coquieto, soup cook off. Also not able to follow their own activity schedules! :(
Lake Erie Harley Davidson has an awesome staff. They are always laid back and helpful. Their service department and parts staff really know their stuff. It is obvious that the people there believe in Harley Davidson.
Staff is very very helpful and friendly!! Favorite store to visit!! They listen to what we want instead of telling us what they think we should get, or think we want!!
I purchased a calendar for my husband at this Harley location and after Christmas, he decided he would like the vtwin calendar better. We went into the store to exchange it. They were sold out of the calendars. We had the original receipt and could not give us our cash back. They could only give us a gift card. This is such a waste. We will never shop at this Harley Davidson location again. Thanks for horrible customer care.
Loved how my bike turned out. It seems like they inherited a pile of garbage from the previous ownership, but the new Service Manager and Techs took care of what I needed and turned me into an advocate for the shop. I had the three fluid change and a fairing and heated hand grips installed on my 2011 Heritage Softail.I trailered my bike out there from the east side March 9th and finally picked it up May 22nd. I was told parts were on back order, but I really think the previous Service Manager Nate took in jobs he had no plans on fulfilling. It left me incredibly frustrated throughout the whole process. The worst part was just not knowing how much the job would cost or when it would be done. I had to keep calling every week only to leave a message to wait for someone to call back. It ended up being $1,000 more than Nate originally ball parked. They also told me it would be ready by the end of March. Really nice job by Jim and Anthony to help me out in the end.Of the dealerships Ive gone to, it was probably one of the worst experience (Western Reserve in Mentor was the worst) I had initially, but they did a great job in making it right. I dont know if they want to deal with me anymore but I plan on using them again when I need more work done at a dealership.
I love Harley. Some people were Trying a little too much to sell, but they were friendly and very helpful. Answered all my questions and were quite professional.

Love the place, customer service wasnt the best. Was visiting the area for the first time, decided to stop by this HD store everything was fine till, I got to the register for the second time, because saw another thing I wanted to buy. Went to the lady that helped me at the beginning, with my first purchase and her co-worker by her side, jumped to take the sale for herself and infront of me started to tell the girl that was ringing me that the sale belonged to her. I asked why the sale of the products Im buying belong to you? she replied because I helped you, I said, you help me? how? just because I called someone to open the fitting room for me?? She responded, its a policy we have here, we work on comission and now is my turn to ring the sale and yes I helped you by unlocking the door of the fitting room for you. Honestly, the girl that helped me on my first purchase 30 mins before, she came to me and really helped me to look for the size of the shirt I liked and gave her what I wanted to buy for the second time, because she did help me at the beginning. The real thing is, customers dont have to know about any arrangement co-workers have when ringing sales. Not nice and very greedy of that young lady.
Went to use a gift card I got for 50 birthday and since new owners took over and they converted all their computers over they lost all info on my card. I was told they would look into it and call me back. No call back, so I called back and once again I was told they would call back and still no call back. It sucks these dealership sell you corporate gift cards and local gift and they are not interchangeable. Why do they even sell local gift cards? My advice is only buy the corporate ones. Over inflated price on batteries. Ridiculous. Is sad I don’t know a good place to go when it comes to Harley dealerships. Harley unfortunately will prolly go down like in the 80s before they were bailed out. I like their bikes but service no matter where I go is always lacking. Except of course buying a 40 dollar T-shirt. That’s always easy. I didn’t buy my bike from Lake Erie so I won’t knock them for my SG battery only lasting 2 years but it sucks when you buy a new bike and you have to replace battery just after the warranty expires. Replacement just over 170 bucks. That is on corporate. And yes that was just the part. Like I said I love my bike but after you buy it it be nice if you got treated the same when it comes to service. All Harley stores. Not just this one. Stinger is worse. Try to keep my parts and left some screws off bike. Wouldn’t admit any wrong doing. Grrrrr. Lake Erie still better of the two

We were there a last week ...Rude motor clothes manager..to customer and to a staff member.. who was a very nice lady. very poor selection on clothing and classic gear. will not recommend this Harley Davidson. Dealership itself is not much to look at. alot of bikes but thats it. serviced my bike and it took 2weeks to fix. Im not happy

Mom and Pop dealership. MSRP dealer. Great after sales service.Review edit.Dealership was sold. It was going down hill for the last year or so. Owner just no longer seemed to care. New owner (who owns several HD dealerships) doesnt either just wants to make quick money. I would not recommend having work done on your bike there. For my money Stinger is a much better dealership even though it is more than twice as far from me.
Horrible Dealership, tried to overcharge me for my new bike got it for $2,000 less at Hales. Rude and dont care about their customer service..... Return POLICY is horrible, but was told it’s the Harley Policy... Failed to say its their choosing to refuse returns from out-of-state Harley Davidson Dealership. The shirt just needed exchanged for a bigger size had tags and receipts and they refused.... Dont go... Go to Mad River, Hales.... Hell anywhere but here. Oh and took on of our Bikes here for repair and they charged a fee to say theres nothing wrong with it and had to take it to private business for the charging problem that Harley stated was fine, but charged me anyway.. RIP OFF...

Ive worked in the automotive industry for 20+ years, and appreciate great service. Rob Dennis in parts was not only helpful, but made the experience fun. I will most definitely refer people to LEHD! They sold me a 2018 trike and cannot fix my brake issues. New owners and dont know anything. Go to Stinger. Lake Erie sells you and leaves you stranded. They wont return my calls for warranty work. Ohio Consumer Sales Practices Act prohibits unfair, deceptive and unconscionable acts by suppliers, the statute does not identify every prohibited practice.Lake Erie Harley Davidson used deceptive practices to sell me a vehicle and got caught doing so. Harley Davidson takes he complaints and slaps them on the wrist and the state of Ohio only collects the information and sits on their illegal practices until it warrants and investigation in which their punishment is not made public. In other words! If you pay the government money you can break the law and get away with it.Beware Lake Erie Harley Davidson and their deceptive financial practices.

I purchased my fourth motorcycle from Lake Erie Harley Davidson and was lied to about purchasing a warranty. I was told by The sales person, the finance manager and owner stated that it was required by the bank in order to receive no down payment financing, I found out days later that this in fact was a lie and received a letter from Lake Erie Financial stating that this was not part of the provisions in financing and canceled the warranty. My previous rating was deleted because Lake Erie Harley does not want others to know the kind of business they run. As a Disabled Veteran and a long time ex-customer of Lake Erie Harley-Davidson you would expect to be treated quite differently. I have filed a complaint with the BBB, Harley-Davidson Financial, Harley-Davidson & the Ohio Attorney General for these practices.

Lake Erie Harley Davidson has a very friendly staff with unbelievable knowledge with great patience for a first time Harley newbie, have a few metrics in the garage, now I have the 2016 Heritage Softail Nostalgia Edition .The only place I found with great hours including Sundays when the working peopleare off .No pressure sales in any department (a plus in my book) !First thing salesman told me was we are an MSRP dealership ( a plus plus in my book ) !Those words sold me on the spot .Now I have a new Harley Davidson parked next to my Hardly Davidsons .
Stopped in to get an oil change in their Express line, was told nope ....at least 3.5 weeks out. JMO but they need to get it together.
