On 07/12/2021,I brought my gray 2019 Mustang GT Performance Package level 1 to Jim Burke Ford Collision center for repairs, after two months on Thursday 09/30/2021 I was notified my car was finally ready for pickup! Delay was caused by some parts being on backorder, incorrect parts being delivered and parts being broken which are bound to happen. I arrived at the location at approximately 230pm, Upon arriving at the location I noticed several scratches on my vehicle, the majority being located near the front of the car, which happens to be the area they were working on. I also overserved damage to my passenger side mirror and my passenger side fender. The damage was very prevalent. I was shocked that no one had noticed it prior to me. There was white paint transfer on my passenger side mirror and passenger side fender. The scrapes were so severe the bare metal was showing. I pointed out the damages to the employee and she was able to verify that the scratches had happened at their location and agreed to repair them free of cost but would take up to three days. However, I was still shocked that no one ever contacted me to inform me my car had been in an accident/collision. We scheduled for me to bring the car back Tuesday 10/05/2021 at 8:00 am. While driving the car home I felt something was wrong with the car but I shook the thought off because it had just been at a Certified Ford Dealership for close to 3 months and the bill had come out to over 6,500 dollars lucky for me, my insurance company was picking up the tab. so I was confident everything was installed correctly and that the scratches had just been someone accidently rubbing up against the car once in a while since it had been there for so long plus they were repairing it free of charge and it would only be 3 days! After close to 3 months without your car, 3 days seems like very little! After getting the car home I noticed more scratches around the car so I decided to pop the hood and review the work done. I instantly noticed that my radiator coolant was two different colors and extremely overfilled as I began examining the vehicle more closely I began to discover more issues, such as a rubber band holding a couple wires together, and the newly replaced front bumper had scratches on it. I immediately drove the car back to Ford arriving at approximately 04:45 pm the same day to have the employees document my discoveries. The front end employees have always been extremely helpful! Once the documentation was done I brought the car back home on the drive back home. I was much more attentive to the feel of the car and the noises it was making. I noticed the vehicle was making a popping noise when making turns. I also heard the car honk when I went over a bump on the road but I chalked that up to someone honking at someone else.
Do not take your vehicle to get any type of repairs here they are unprofessional and the staff is very rude. They do not inspect your vehicle before telling you it’s ready and good to go. Instead they make you come back twice to fix issues that could have been fixed prior to my arrival. I took my car in for paint and repair and the process took over two weeks. Krista called me to pick up my vehicle and when I arrived there was scratch marks and it paint residue all over the inside the of my car. They kept my vehicle and two days later they said they had fixed the issue however this time there was a piece that was loose on the side bottom of the car which I told her about. She then proceed to tell me that everyone was gone for the day and it couldn’t be fixed so I would have to come back or leave my car again. I decided to leave my car for something she said would have taken less than 10 minutes to fix. As I am heading back home she calls me and tell me that her manager was able to fix it and that I can come back and pick up my car. She was very rude about the whole situation and not helpful what so ever.
Horrible customer service. If you have a choice don’t come here but if you do ask for anyone other than Krista. Read the google reviews, the positives are written by her and her family. Just saying

Our experience has been spectacular. Joey not only has vast knowledge when it comes to auto body and paint, he is very professional and courteous. He has worked diligently to resolve a manufacturer warranty issue on our Navigator and has kept us informed at each stage of the process. At certain points, Joey did have to contact his manager for extingent circumstances and his Manager was able to offer alternatives that you do not see in customer service today- in any company! I applaud everyone at The Ford Collision Center in Bakersfield for their Outstanding customer service! Such a breath of fresh air in today’s world of pass the buck customer service. Great Job Team!
Stopped in to see if I could get the door latch on my new truck adjusted since I was in the area. I live 40+ miles away. They took me right in, looked at what needed to be done, and made the adjustment and had me out in less then 10 minutes. Very friendly staff and willing to take care of my needs. Thank you!
Everything ALMOST went smooth here. Mostly friendly staff & fast service. I do really like the online & text message status updates that they provide (even though you apparently cant trust the completion date). Only reason Im not giving these guys a 5 star review is because when I dropped off the car we talked about what happens if I cant pick up that same day. I was told that it should be no problem & that they were understanding of stuff like that & they could work it out with the insurance so that I wont get charged extra. I was checking the status updates every day & throughout the whole process it said the expected completion date will be Friday. So I cleared my schedule on Friday to do this. Then all of a sudden, Thursday at 11:32 AM I get a call saying that my car is done & I need to pick it up today by 5 or else I will be charged for the rental. I work out of town & was in a training class that day & I already had previous arrangements regarding work to be done at my house right after work that same day. I explained my situation but was told that if I didnt come that same day, I would be charged for the rental since they called me before noon -no exceptions. NOT COOL. It would have been an excellent experience here if it wasnt for that bad deal at the end though. I think Ill try somewhere else next time.
I had a deep scratch on the hood of my Focus ST. The people at Ford Collision were friendly and helpful. The quote was reasonable and they had my car out of the shop in 2 days and the hood looks good as new. I would definitely recommend and use them again in the future although I hope I dont have to.
They took great care of my vehicle and had my car in and out in great time. Liz was great in facilitating the entire process. My car looked brand new as soon as I got it back and they even washed it. Great experience
Took my brand new Honda in for body repairs. The service estimater was friendly, welcoming & took great care to cover all possible damage before offering an estimate. I am waiting, now, for judgement on final work.

Had damages done to my 2013 navigator. Didnt want to just take it anywhere to get the work done so i took it here supposedly professionals. Dropped my car off staff was at first really friendly and happy for my buisness. They told me about 3 to 4 days for repairs actually took over a week. I would have to call them to get any info on my car. They bs and told me my car was in paint for 3 days really to paint over a bumper really? Then after i got it home i notice where they replaced my windshield they didnt put my trim on correct and it looked terrible. So i had to bring it back they fixed the trim but there whole attitude was like oh it probably came off on the freeway its not really held down by anything. These guys are con artist not professionals there work was ok but just there service sucks. They just want your money total came over 4,300 for a front grille and small touch up. Never again and i will make sure friends and family dont go there.
