This is our go to breakfast/coffee/tea spot! It’s a local favorite!! Give it a try. I love the generous portions of oatmeal served with fresh fruit. My husband is a burrito eater and my kids love the peanut butter bagels with cinnamon and sugar.

This place has the best cinnamon rolls but I went there the other day and found out they havent been making them since the pandemic. Not quite sure what one has to do with the other but I cant wait for them to come back.

Best bagels and coffee! It was really busy and there was a longer wait to get our order BUT it is NYE and there were not a lot of employees working. They were going as fast as possible and working during a pandemic so we didn’t mind the wait. I had the rosemary breakfast bagel sandwich and my husband had the hot pastrami sandwich and they were both incredible and super delicious. Thank you for working hard and during a pandemic!!!!

They made me wait ON HOLD for 20 minutes. No one ever came back to the line. I got into my car and drove there still on hold

Wish this business was more organized. We continuously wait on hold for 20 mins. I understand if they dont want to take phone orders but then they need to inform their customers of that.

On their DoorDash listing you can no longer order single bagels, you are forced to order 1 Dozen. This is misleading as on the listing it shows the price for 1 bagel and then forces you to get the dozen which is significantly more expensive.

Prepare to wait if you go order in. I had to wait 10- 15 minutes just for a drink. I believe they serve first come first serve. Is best to order online or call ahead of time for pick ups if you dont want to wait long?

I was on hold today for 20 min and still never got helped.. called back the girl immediately put me back on hold. Obviously management doesnt care.Last visit they completely messed up our order. Forgot to give us 2 items! 👎Unreal I will never go back . Im done.

If you are medically exempt from wearing a mask, they will not serve you. Really sad to see, its a great local establishment.

First time here. Not bad. Had the cheese bagel. Not bad. Pretty good. Dough had a little extra flavor. Also purchased Choc chip to try. Thats the real test. If its good Ill be back.

Very busy when I arrived (around 8am) but staff is friendly and helpful. The bagels are absolutely amazing and the smoothies are delicious. Best place for fresh baked bagels and breakfast.

The lone was long, but I was waited on pretty quickly. However, I ordered 2 dozen assorted bagels, separate the sweet from the savory and cut it half ... What I got ... 2 dozen assorted bagels, sweet and savory mixed in two different boxes and none cut in half. Not the end of the world, just frustrating.

Went to this place for the first time, it was 1:40 PM. Apparently they close at 2:00 PM.We are looking at the menu and when ready to order the cashier said, the kitchen is closed we cannot prepare any sandwiches. Well, If the place closes at 2 and I arrive at 1:40; serve me food, or change your sign so I know that the kitchen closes 20 minutes before the store does. Very disappointed.

Bagels and Blenderz was the bees knees about 6 or 7 years ago. I went back this morning for two peanut butter bagels (delicious), a strawberry sunrise (mouth wateringly delicious), and a cup of joe (Im used to it tasting like JP5). 10/10 experience, and possibly my only breakfast spot for the future.

Food is good but the service sucks. I waited 45 minutes for one sandwich I saw people who came in after me who were getting their sandwichs and leaving. I asked how much longer they said just a few minutes more I said that customers that were there after me had gotten theirs already in a lot shorter time and I was going to ask for my money back and they all of the sudden came out with my sandwich like it was done and they forgot about me. 😠 Wont be going back.

Had the Californian sandwich on mutiny grain bread with a raspberry smoothie both were very delicious recommend bagels and blenderz I often order through door dash and ive never had issues not once.

I buy breads and cookies about every two weeks... it puts a smile on a lot of kids and friends that I treat.. thank you the service is exceptional..

IF I COULD GIVE THIS BUSINESS A ZERO STAR I WOULD!They have no concept of customer service.They again gave us the wrong order we called back had to wait on hold for 10 mins to get the right order ready as my husband drove back to return the food. By then they were out of the bagels (cheese bagels) we originally ordered which are more expensive so we ordered plain bagels. At this point MOST businesses would apologize for the wrong order and us having to drive back and comp the order. Oh no they were rude made me go through 3 people to ask what they can do then a manager (man who wouldn’t give his name) got on the phone and said they will only give us back the difference and that they will refund and recharge us. I explained that we were already late and that they have inconvenienced us enough and couldn’t believe that they were going to inconvenience us more...He hung up the phone on me. I called back and ask for his name and could hear him in the background instructing the girl who answered the phone to hang up on me.I am not the first review saying how rude the service is. They would rather inconvenience the customer more by making us wait in the phone, drive back, wait again in line to refund and recharge. Is their business doing that bad that they can not take care of their customers?? I remember the first owner of this business and he was so kind. It’s sad that this new owner and her employees are so rude to their customers and care so little about customer service.

Worst customer service in Bakersfield. Called to placed an order. They put me on hold for 30 min. It picked up and I listed To the workers help other customers while yelling hello for them to pick up they didn’t. I called back and they said can you hold. I said no I can’t and explained the situation. She said okay hold on I’ll get someone to help you. I was placed on hold for another 15 minutes. By this time I was at the restaurant. I asked to speak with the manager and explained what happen. All she said is “oh our phone system kicks out calls, if you’re not one of the first two it drop.” What the hell!!! That’s is the excuse for horrible service. They did nothing to help the situation.

Great fresh made daily bagels, made on site. 12 flavors of cream cheese. 6 flavors of self serve drip coffee, including French vanilla and hazelnut. They also have smoothies, sandwiches, salads and breakfast sandwiches. 17 tables inside and 5 outside. I often see the same group of 4 guys each morning. It looks like this is the place for retirees and running groups to meet. I believe theyre only open until 4 p.m. during the week and maybe earlier of weekends. The location is in a good part of town nearby the University and Trader Joes. Staff is great, they even found my chair pad I left and I picked it up the next day.

Ive come here many times. It is very extremely busy on weekends and empty during weekdays.If wanting anything from bagels and blenderz but dont want to hassle with the wait like me, you can also order for pick up which I strongly suggest.The quality of the food is good. Expect the price to be slightly higher for the hot food items on the menu.

Love Bagels & Blenderz, excellent customer service, friendly staff, smiles, and great food. I recommend Ricks Breakfast, so good. Do yourself a favor and go to Bagels & Blenderz.

This place is amazing, I love it. My favorite is the cinnamon glaze bagel with the honey almond butter cream cheese. This place does get busy inn the morning so if your inn a rush I suggest try to go another time, if there is a line and also depends on what you order it can take 15min plus to get out there. Other than that staff is friendly and I will definitely be going back soon to try something new!!!

The Boss Breakfast Sandwich is delicious! Their cream cheese spreads are a must try, especially the wild berry and honey almond. The lemon bagel is an original flavor thats worth a try. Will definitely be back.

I really liked coming to this place in the past but theres something up with the people working there these days. The cashier didnt listen and then was argumentative. I asked for the bagels to only be cut in half not toasted. When he called me up to give me my food he had the wrong cream cheese. Then I stood there waiting and he looked at me and said what else do you need then I said the Dozen Donuts I ordered as well. Then I tried to be nice and say it looks busy and then he replied to me no its not Just a bad vibe from the service in this place and its really too bad cuz I used to really enjoy coming in here

Great menu selections to fit so many different flavor preferences. Impressed by the choices and efficiency of the staff. Ordered the Papas and chorizo. Smelled and tasted great. Just disappointed to open a large togo tray to see it only half full. Also ordered a strawberry smoothie that was great, but couldnt drink it in the car because it was capped with a coffee cap and a straw that you could fit into it. Wasnt going to drive without a top on the cup. Just a couple technical flaws. But, I wont take away from its service.

Love this place. The chefs sandwich is my absolute favorite sandwich, like, EVER! Yummy bagels, cream cheeses, and sandwiches. They also have yummy donuts and other sweet treats. Totally my fav sandwich shop. Funny, they have never ever gotten my order wrong and I always replace the ham in my sandwich with Turkey... They always get it right and the staff is always friendly when I go in...i dont know what these other reviews are talking about bad customer service..

I bought a “Goldilox” bagel and a bag of pre-baked cookies. By the time I got home (15-minutes) the cookies were a disintegrated bag of mess. When I called to let them know I spoke with a guy who identified himself as the manager and he basically blamed me but said that if I drove back across town he would exchange the bag for another bag. Bad attitude. Stuff happens but when the business has the gall to blame the ride home in my car (that he claimed was “too hot” even though I have great air conditioning I felt like I was not well treated. I will not be back. I wish I could post a pic of this bag.

From some reason they advertise call in your order 15 mins before you come in.... every time we try to call in the average wait on hold is 10 mins. As I am writing this post I have currently been holding 15mins and still on hold.I feel their management has something to be desired and would like to see better delegation of service. If you know which they have been told that there phone order is taking too long. Have someone specially to answer phones and take phone in orders.

Come to this place every morning for breakfast bagels they tell you to phone 15 min ahead to avoid waiting in line. Well I’ve literally waited on hold the whole drive and all the way to I get to the cashier. Well I understand they are a business and they get busy this morning I called on my way still in line watch the phone ring which one of the female employees picked up another line put them on hold while I was watching on hold then proceeded to pick up the line she had just put on hold which I have been waiting for 10 minutes. Well when I got to the front of the line I mentioned it to the guy “Javier” that was helping me he said well it’s been hectic in here this morning one of our machines broke down and we don’t choose a favorite line to pick first that’s on hoId I said well I understand that but the phone doesn’t tell you who is on hold first he said no unfortunately not. I proceeded to say I’m a regular customer and everything is usually OK I was just trying to mention it to you. Once he walked away I heard him say she is complaining to me I’m not the manager. That was rude and very unexpected ☹️

This place does not even deserve a star. i ordered 2 dozen the clerk said so you want 2 dozen and i said yes. so he put the bagels in the box put tape over it and charged me 20 and some change. when i arrived to work i opened the box to see 12 bagels. this place does not know how to count and when you ask for the manager it was the same person who helped me and his excuse is that they dont sell 2 dozen only dozen and half. so by his count i was still short. never again will i go there and i made sure to let my fellow workers at Mercy South West Hospital know. You may have gained $20.00 from me but you lost a whole community from the hospital I work at.

Breakfast is great at this place. Staff is awesome and friendly. Different kinds of bagels to choose. Lots of choices of coffee and drinks. You can dine inside or outside.

I moved to Bakersfield when I was five and have been going to Bagels and Blenderz ever since. I dont live in Bakersfield anymore, but pretty much every time I visit, I have to get a banana nut bagel and a smoothie. I also have introduced Bagels and Blenderz to my husband who is not from Bakersfield and he has been converted. The bagels are so uniquely dense and delicious and the smoothies are refreshing. Yum!

Always top notch flavor. Just love this local spot with so many selections to choose from!

I want to start off by saying that I REALLY wanted to love this place. It has all the markings of of a great spot: local, small business, lots of carbs, and lots of caffeine. If I was only talking about the food, this would be a much higher starred review (in fact, it was going to make this a one star review, but the bagels and schmear are really tasty).This place has TERRIBLE customer service. I have given them 6 opportunities because I know that sometimes its just an off day, or there might be new staff training, or any number of reasons that deserve additional chances, but the service level that I have received seems to be the norm. 1) I always feel invisible when I walk in the store. I smile at staff or say hello and rarely get a response. 2) I always seem to be waiting at the counter for minutes before someone stops to ask if Ive been helped despite the fact that theres always a surplus of workers walking around the front of the house talking to each and walking right past me... no one offers assistance. 3) When I do place my order, the order always takes forever, and I usually have to remind them of speciality requests because they always forget. (Even little things like offering a drink carrier and straws for 4 to-go drinks... Or marking which drink is which on the cup before they get mixed up).Again, the food has always been good, but thats not enough to make up for the poor service. I should also add that I have only been in the afternoon, so perhaps the service in the morning is way better than what I have experienced between 12-3p.

The bagels were very good, but the service was not very good. It took forever to get two bagels. Then The guy got our order wrong. He didnt know how to use the credit card machine.He never asked us if our order was to go or not, so it had to be put in a bag after waiting 10 mins for two bagels,then he couldnt find a bag, and forgot napkins.
