Very tasty coffee lattes and brioche French Toast

Coffee was good. There was a good amount of food. Potatoes were dry. Egg were ok. I couldn’t open my jelly container and the container was greasy.

I have waited a long time to visit the Padre and it didnt disappoint. Rachel the waitress was so nice and recommended a power bowl with blackened salmon, yams and spinach. Soooooo good. I will be going back to have dinner at the Belvedere. So beautiful!!!

I had the turkey burger with ghost pepper cheese. If you like a bit of a kick this is your burger!

Located in The Padre Hotel downtown, tasty casual breakfast stop. The area is sketchy, so take your belongings and lock your car doors. Strong espresso and satisfying food. Breakfast sandwich was super filling and highly recommended. The chorizo skillet was egg heavy and mediocre. The joint lost points because we specifically ordered the french toast with fresh berries and after a long wait for all of our food, they brought out pancakes. Bottled drinks and grab and go items available as well.

I love getting coffee here and sitting out on the patio or parklet watching the hum of downtown bakersfield life.

Super nice staff. Board games to chill with. Also bacon cheese cake lol. All so good. Definitely a wonderful spot.

Over priced so dont waste your money on the breakfast, Dennys is far better @ breakfast and I dont care for Dennys.Now the bacon. The bacon is a whole different ball game, Id buy a whole plate of bacon

Clean and well presented. Food is good. Make sure you understand that the Avocado Smash, despite it being pricey and the most attractive item on the menu, is actually an appetizer. It is a single slice of bread with avocado, bacon crumbles and egg. You’ll need to order two to gain a semblance of satiety.

High in price, low in food

Good coffee, friendly staff, comfortable spaces, good location and not outrageously expensive. Although staff serve drinks in to-go cups even if you’re staying. Not very eco friendly

Delicious food! Great ambiance! What a neat place to visit! This hotel is 1928 RETRO and super pretty with original/remade decorative ceilings, marble staircase and an elegant vibe. Our server was attentive and THE COFFEE HERE IS PERFECT. I eat healthy and was served a BIG bowl of fruit with my gluten-free breakfast bowl. The food was yummy. If you like salty you may need to add a little. The wait time was somewhat long but we were not in a rush. I was so happy to find a delicious place to eat that didnt break my belly while traveling. Will return tomorrow!

I had their fantastic and, frankly, huge breakfast burrito. Almost more food than I needed. My boyfriend enjoyed their coffee. The young lady behind the counter was very friendly and polite and the other employee, who was off the clock at the time and was grabbing lunch, offered many helpful suggestions for what to order. It was a nice, casual place to enjoy a good breakfast.

Both the service and food are phenomenal. This little quiet place is located inside the Padre Hotel. Check it out...you will not be disappointed!!

Really enjoyed this place for coffee and breakfast. In a nice area of Bakersfield (downtown by the Convention Center). Great staff, nice eating area, and kind of connected to a hotel. Definitely a great find.

I absolutely love this cafe. Tamara was especially great because she made me the best London Fog I have had in California. The fruit bowl was also delicious. Great place to hang out and bum off their WiFi.

Friendly staff and the breakfast burrito is one of the best I have had. So good I only got a picture of half the burrito. Deeeeelicious.

Nothing unique, and its safe to say it benefits tremendously from its location as opposed to its own merits. With the trendy cafe smitten down the street and stalwart dagnys, and of course the filling station - you can do better.
