They finally offer a vegan donut option! Out of excitement, I ordered 6 of them. They are great!I hope they expand on their vegan options and hopefully even emulate the very successful Donut Friend in Los Angeles.

Everything looked great here. Unfortunately we only tried the doughnuts, and they were really good.

I went store for first time to try a cale for birthday. Both girls are so rude with us. I ask can you write down a name she refuse it we don’t carry anything to write down i ask her plz call your location. without calling she refuse me that she is not picking our call. Atlast, both the employees say of want cake take it or either wise leave it. i just have worst experience over here. I m not coming back again.

This place is yummy!!! Of course they have traditional pastries...but you NEED to try their specialty donuts. Oh the bacon covered donut is delicious!!! If you are ever in town for National Donut Day they always have a donut eating competition. A family favorite is the creme puffs. Im sure theres something for everybody!

Cupcakes are yummy. They have a lot of delicious flavors. The pecan bar is my fave its so delightful.

Wow! Their cream cheese puffs are amazing and melt in your mouth, they are baked daily. Perfect dessert to take to a gathering.

Nice and simple place, great pastries. Favorite is the bacon doughnut. Dang its super delicious really recommend trying it out.

The fruit tarts and eclairs are my favorite everything I’ve tried is so delicious, just sad the staff isn’t very friendly.

Very impressed with the breakfast selections. Made to order and fresh! Also, plenty of different varieties of baked goods most bakeries dont have. Prices were very good, considering the quality and time this crew put in to make them all look so good. My son tried the French toast mountain and was all smiles after the 1st bite!

Items purchased: Pomegranate Tea and the All-In-One Bagel sandwich (I requested not to have the jalapeños)Wow. Bagel was perfectly warm, soft, and delicious. The egg, fluffy. Bacon, flavorful and crispy. The ham, Gatdaamn. And the cheese... You know the cheese is dummy good when youre trying to eat the wrapper. You know what Im talking about, dont lie, cheese paper is the hardest thing to perfect, and hot damn I wanted more of it!I drove from Sacramento 4 hours to meet up a friend, and decided to stop by this unsuspecting bakery on foot after I parked to find a restroom to use. What I found instead was pure bliss, realized. 10/10 would eat here again

We love Sugar Twist. The pastries we bought were fresh and amazing! My only concern is the sign outside alerting people to wear masks. I wore mine into the shop. However, Sugar Twist did not enforce this because there were families with children without their masks. Either take the sign down, or enforce this for EVERYONE!

I had a great experience with this bakery! They made my wedding cake and even though it was pricy (totally expected for a wedding cake) it was delicious! The cake ended up being bigger than I thought. Normally when I have gone to a wedding the cakes have been a little on the dry side. This cake was not only beautiful but it tasted amazing. I had people talking about the cake days after the wedding! Highly recommend this place for your baked good needs!

Amazing selection of donuts. The place is great, big, well decorated, modern. Ask for their specialty, it is a cheese pastry that is delicious. The croissants are very good too. Everything well priced. They open very early.

It was okay. The sweets are very delicious. And today I ordered a breakfast burrito it tasted good but the eggs were runny and the potatoes weren’t cooked through. I blame it on that today was a busy which is why I only took 1 star off I believe if I go again it would be better. Staff was very nice. Other than the food being undercooked, it was a good experience.

Great local bakery. There is a good selection of donuts, pastries, cookies, cake and cupcakes. If you enjoy experimenting you can create your own donut including frosting and toppings. There is a limited breakfast menu and Seattles Best coffee is available.

BIRTHDAY NITEMARE!We ordered a cake with a graphic design on it, but they failed to tell us that they couldnt complete it as requested and instead of telling us they expected us to pay for essentially the WRONG CAKE at $60We told them that this was for a birthday and that the design WAS NOT AT ALL what we had ordered and refused to payTerrible experience avoid at all costs

Very good, but I warn everyone of how sweet some of the donuts here are. Frosting, glaze, maple, etc. is very thick and very sweet. I recommend this bakery to those how have a huge sweet tooth.

Totally delicious sweets with huge size. Prices are low for how good/big the yummies are. Coffee is a different brand that is really tasty. I love blackcoffee and this is some of the best tasting.

Normally, I really enjoy coming here, but this time, I ended up picking some treats with fresh fruit. They started molding the day after i got them, which was a bit disappointing. Careful when picking any pastries, either eat them on the day you buy them or take a chance.

The ladies in there are always sweet I ordered a chorizo and egg burrito for the 1st time and Im fairly picky when it comes to chorizo but they had the absolute best. I know now where to go.

Worst Cannoli Ive ever had. The filling was just bad and the shell was soggy. The cream filled chocolate donut had a plastic like aftertaste.The cookie and the chocolate mousse dome were both very good.Also, the cashier seemed annoyed to be serving us because we were there just before closing.

My family and I, were heading back home to Arizona, from visiting my father in the hospital. Wanted to look for something sugar-free for him, and for us. I searched Google for the best donuts in Bakersfield, and found Sugar Twist Bakery. I remember reading a few reviews about their Cream Cheese Puffs. I did not find anything sugar-free, however, I bought a few items for family members back home, plus the puffs.The girl at the counter was very pleasant and cordial. The place was nicely decorated for Easter. Very nice place! ...So, my hubby and I, are on a Keto Diet; but temptation and stress, a few miles later. Ha! And, we NEVER CHEAT! We tried and shared a Cream Cheese Puff! OMG!! They were stupidly, ridiculously, delicious!! You have to try them, at least ONCE!!! YUM!!

Covid-19...I walked in this place the other day and seen multiple employees in the back behind the counter without their masks on while they were preparing food. I thought it was required for food service, but I guess it doesnt matter at this place. They tried to hide when they seen me too. Really though?

We went there for cupcakes this afternoon and not only was our cashier rude, the manager would not provide nutrition facts so I could figure out the dosage of insulin for a type 1 diabetic son I have.
